Visited late one Sunday evening and only one other couple there. The food was excellent and our server very friendly but the kitchen messed up our order and we didn't get one of our meals ordered. Turned out okay as the serving size is large and my wife and I shared. The hummus was excellent. Would go back.
It isn't fancy or outstanding, but it is reliably good. The shish tawook is lovely and tender. The fattoush salad is a little on the bland side, but always reasonably good. Excellent humous and baba ghanoush. Two for lunch can get out of there for under $25.00 for a good meal
I've eaten lunch with friends and family at this La Luna location for several years; latest in May 2013.
While I've sampled various things in the past, all good, what I eat every time now is a falafel sandwich and fattoush salad. The fattoush salad is simply the best anywhere. In fact, I was reminded to write this review because...

Cozy sitting area, warm food, adequate prep time, large portions, grilled meats- kafta and shish tawook are really good.
Could use better quality parsley and olive oil in the tabouleh.
This place is amazing. Nice but not overdone atmosphere and food to die for. Only complaint is that the service and drink refills aren't always fantastic. They don't come to your table enough to check on you. PS try the fatoosh salad, avoid the fish and chips (yummy but too small) Most servings very generous.
The fatoush salad with extra crispies and a skewer of chicken makes the perfect meal. I actually crave this food if i don't have the large salad every few months. I have a standard procedure, friends and i go to Hamilton Place for season's tickets and always stop in on the mountain site before the show for dinner. Servers are... more
Owned by a Lebanese family, this is as close to real Lebanese food as you can get with North American foods. We stop by regularly to pick up supper when tired and take visiting guests knowing everyone will be satisfied with whatever they order.
Food here is very fresh and filling, salads, good vareity and many combo plates to chose from
even great for vegetarain diets!!
I had a lunch and dinner here during a recent visit to Hamilton. I was impressed with both the quality and quantity of the food. The main dishes are best to be shared amongst two.
They only downside of dinner was the service. I waited about 10 minutes before being acknowledged, as the two waitresses were overwhelmed with two large...

Tonight we visited LaLuna on Concession St. The Waitress who was very bubbly suggested Lemon and Chicken garlic breast which came with rice, potatoes, and grilled vegs.also a side Fattosh salad. When the Fattosh salad came it was a decent size and not bad but it was drenched in wine vinegar but edible. Finally the meal came which by the... more
I checked out reviews on Trip Advisor before going to La Luna and I was somewhat concerned but we had been there many years before and had no problems so we thought why not lets go. The food and the service was wonderful. Many reviews mentioned a lack of service but we had great service, quick service, and food was... more
Service isn't quite the best. They aren't really that interested in looking out for your every need like most restaurants. But the food is amazing. It is a more pricy option (you are looking $20+ per person depending on your appetite, although I usually share one of the platters priced between 20-30 with my partner so its more like 15... more
I have always liked La Luna restaurant, but after today I have second thoughts. The customer service regimen is geared towards satisfaction. Unfortunately the two people I brought today weren't keen of the sauce on their pitas & therefore were turned off & didn't eat the rest of their meal. The server was very pleasant but asked me twice about... more
Ambiance not there, but the food is GREAT. Really. Best Mediterranean for hundreds of miles. Family business takes pride in product.
I love La Luna on Concession St. in Hamilton. I love it so much I've taken everyone there that I can think of. This is the restaurant we go to when we want to eat out with the kids on the weekend or just want something really delicious and satisfying (without cooking ourselves!) We've even ordered catering from them for... more
This restaurant is decorated well, it is deliciuos middle eastern/mediterranean food. The portions were generous and it was a great deal for what we got.
La Luna has a pleasant welcoming ambiance.
Friendly staff & good service!
Food is always excellent & fresh!
Healthy choices & made on the premises.
Best Mediterranean food I have tasted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My favourite ...by far! :-)
I recommend it highly for the reasonably priced, excellent quality food, friendly helpful staff. & the restaurant's cleanliness.
My food wasn't that good (falafel). The service was TERRIBLE. The interac machine was acting up. Prices too high. Decor not very good (seated beside a fish tank literally stuffed 'wall to wall' with fish and not a single plant or bit of cover for them- poor things). Would not recommend to anyone and certainly won't be eating there ever... more
This restaurant provide great food and service. We have been here one night and very happy with everything.
Excellent food and great value for the money. Cosy interior, and who doesn't love cosy? Lights could be turned down a little for better ambience but that's a small price to pay for such a great food experience. Meals are copious, food is fresh and perfectly spiced.
Service is prompt and friendly food is reasonably priced and delicious. Not gourmet but a great meal.
