Great atmosphere for a drink
26 juillet 2014Visited with friends and sat outside in the late afternoon. We ordered the cheese plate and the nuts and olives. Plenty of food for four for a snack. Huge selection of bottles but we oped for a glass each of their lower end sparkling wines. Still received great service from a really kind waiter who was more than an happy... plus

Great potential but misses the mark
08 juillet 2014Their "bubbles" list is impressive but the prices are way too high. They are basically quadrupling (or more) a retail price. Sadly, the food we had did not even come close to what their price point would seem to dictate. Charcuteries were great. Great food, good selection vins, not cheap

Chose a number of plates to share and even usual non sharing plates were presented on large boards for ease of sharing. Very attentive wait staff. Great selection of wines, especially champagnes and sparkling of course, but at high end of prices. A number of board specials by the glass more reasonably priced...but not top end.

Great atmosphere, good food
08 mars 2014The atmosphere here is fantastic and the food is pretty good. The menu is a little lacking for main courses and the champaign is a little steep. The service was good but not great. Add some more meals and get the staff excited to elevate the experience.

Sunday Evening Surprise
08 février 2014Stumbled upon this when our destination restaurant turned out to be closed, certainly hadn't planned on a champagne evening but on a snowy cold night we decided to take a chance. My new favorite spot

Had a great time a La Champagnerie! The staff was really helpful when it came to choosing a bottle of bubbles, especially since there's such a variety of choices. I also got to saber the bottle which was fun and not as difficult a task as it may seem!
I really find this is a great addition to the Old-Port...

What a deception

The service was slow and really bad (we ordered a $90 champaign bottle which was not good at all and it took 35 minutes before they finally accepted to give us a new bottle, the waitress was arguing with us).
