An Experience
July 26, 2014Our party of 4 arrived for a late dinner. Took us a few minutes to figure out the menu, order and get our tableware. Food was great! Friendly staff and we knew we were eating 'local' as there was an evening 'coffee klatsch' enjoying a visit!

Not bad if you're hungry
July 24, 2014Not the greatest pasta, the spaghetti was bland. Lasagna not much better. Took about 30 minutes and the place was not busy. Self serve cafeteria style. 2 adults 2 kids was about $50

fantastic lasagna
July 21, 2014we go to L&W all the time and we always get great food there , there are outdoor tables out front with huge pots of flowers every 10 feet under a large roof overhang on the patio . Pizza worth it, pasta meh
July 09, 2014We stopped here after a long drive from Vancouver. My buddy ordered the spaghetti and wasn't thrilled. Soggy (soaked) noodles and too much sauce. Bland at that. I ordered a small veggie pizza. Waited quite a bit longer for it, but worth the wait. It is an order at the counter and wait for your number to be called joint.... more

Always a favorite
June 14, 2014We eat at L & W every visit to Hinton, and have never been disappointed with our food. The lasagna is a definite favorite, as well as their pizza - second to none! Everything is always fresh, hot, and served quickly.

Very less quantity of food
March 31, 2014I spend my birthday together with my friends, I ordered chicken wings, calamaris, l&w pizza, ribs and spaghetti. Unfortunately we are not satisfied as all the entire food was very less from which I paid for! We are not hungry much but the quantity that we expected was not fair enough. We decided not to come back anymore.

Good place to stop at when passing thru
November 05, 2013Great view easy parking and the food is good. When on your way to jasper AB this is a great idea to fill up the family and get a break before the final drive to jasper.

Disappointing
November 03, 2013Not the L&W I remember at all. The cafeteria/fast food style I could get over, if the quality of food was up to par, but this wasn't the case. The appearance of the restaurant itself looks nice, but that's were it stops. Will NOT be going back.

The atmosphere, location and food was excellent.
The service was less to be desired. Mostly kids at the front counter, most didn't seem to know what they were doing, dressed unprofessionally in tank tops, yoga pants and backwards hats. I get its cafeteria style, but 4 people were focused on one person, 2 were hiding, one was oblivious... Kitchen staff...

I ordered the chicken fingers with poutine - chicken was okay, fries tasted old, gravy didnt have much of a taste and cheese was shredded cheddar (EWW), ketchup in hienz bottles must be something else tasted like sour cheap tomato sauce.

Best poutine and Salad Bar around

I read the reviews and decided it would be a good place to order a salad and a pizza. There was 4 staff chatting and joking around as we stood there for 15 min before the girl took our order, and yes they all saw us when we came in.
