I eat here at least twice a week often bring family and friends. Good is always great tasting and service is amazing. The staff treat me with respect and always have a smile for me. Always a great experience
This was my first breakfast at Kypreos although I have been there before for supper..The food was perfect and the service was top notch, friendly and attentive. This is a family type restaurant and it is especially full of friends getting together on Sundays after church service. Look forward to eating there again when next we are in Kitchener.
If you're looking for a good, hearty, inexpensive Bacon&Eggs-Style breakfast, Kypreos is the place to go. Their home fries are tasty, and the coffee is good too!
While visiting family in the area, six of us recently gathered for lunch at Kypreos in central Kitchener. Walking through the restaurant to the adjacent dining room, we were comfortably seated at a long table near the front window. The service was attentive and it was not long before our selections - Greek or chicken wraps and the ruben sandwich... more
Excellent Breakfast Restaurant as well as lunch.
Smaller restaurant but packs the house for breakfast on weekends.
I was there regular customer mostly for breakfasts, few times for lunch & dinner.Twice after having lunch there my stomach was upset and I felt some smelly old vegies when I was eating. i should stop eating it but i didn't.Last time I was there for lunch I ordered baby liver with vegies and mash potatoes, when I was served... more
My friend and I went to this local restaurant for a Saturday morning breakfast.
The service was fast and friendly. We both ordered identical breakfasts of two eggs, over easy, rye toast, crisp bacon and home fries. I also ordered some hot sauce which the waitress did say she would bring to me but she forget to bring it to...

I've had both the breakfasts and dinners at Kypreos. Dinners were good, but not my favourite greek food in town. However, the breakfasts are amazing. My favourite is their special with a greek cheese and sausage with eggs. This is a favourite breakfast spot for us in town. Its rarely busy on weekends which adds to the appeal.
Good bang for your buck, typical greek quantity, great service, lots of room, easy access, clean, clean washrooms!
I hadn't been to Kypreos in a couple of years. I remembered having fish the last time I visited and thinking it was adequate but enjoying more the service and ambiance.
This time my friend and I had beer and the Kypreos platter for two -- a large platter of chicken and pork souvlaki, wine sausage and homemade sheftalia sausage...

We've frequented this restaurant many times over the years. Some of their dishes ie. Steak, Schnitzel are very good. Others are simply awful. The worst is their spagetti, or anything with their spagetti sauce, its awful. 2yrs ago we were told that they had changed it, we told them it was god awful, the waitress even agreed. Tried again this... more
Good breakfast place. Nice ambiance great service. Good choice of brakfast options. Fair value.
We went in a thursday evening and the place was dead. We should have known then. I ordered pasta. A creamy milk sauce that tasted like water. When I complained, she told me that no one one else complains. I asked her how popular the dish is. She said "it isn't" I asked her how often people order it, she... more
This is a very dated restaurant. Food prices are very good, but it's not really a Greek restaurant. Most of the food is plain Canadian. I had what was billed as a home made red wine sausage (Loukanika) and it was just a wiener cut up like you would get at a handcart outside Canadian Tire.
We go here several times a year and it is our favorite family style restaurant in KW. The breakfast, lunch and dinner specials are always very good and the service is fast and friendly. All the servers are great but we are always pleased when we end up in Kristin's section. They serve breakfast all day; don't miss the house... more
We had the shrimp saganaki, halloumi cheese for appetizers. It was good. Although I was expecting them to do the flame trick in front of us (like Meditarraneo does with cheese saganaki) for the shrimp saganaki (flambe). The souvlaki dinners were very tasty - meat cooked to the right done-ness and good portions. One dinner is good for two people.... more
Tremendous value for money and nice to have a specials board which can really surprise, such a cajun spiced salmon served on cedar wooden block with salsa.
