Hidden gem

This was our second visit to keefer mansion. The first time we stayed in a room on the top level which was amazing. I don't think that level is available anymore. However, the current stay was great either way. Absolutely love the old ambiance that decor provides.

Undiscovered charm in Thorold

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying for one Friday night to do some biking around Niagara on Saturday. We were very pleasantly surprised by the experience. Granted staying in downtown Thorold is not high on everyone's list when coming to Niagara but you should consider the Keefer Mansion as a great option.

Fantastic Place to Host an Event

January 03, 2013My wife and I spent four nights there during the holidays when our own house was overloaded with family. We took a very small but comfortable room with a good bed, stylish bathroom and a smallish TV that gave us lots of channel choices. A great B&B! And it's Haunted

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Keefer Inn in Thorold. A beautiful, majestic Victorian mansion with well appointed rooms, four poster beds and antique furnishings. The breakfast ( included) in the morning was fantastic with fresh fruit waffles and quiche - all homemade. The owner was very gracious and accommodating to our late arrival.

A pleasant get-away with excellent food and service
December 10, 2012We booked in for dinner, stay and breakfast and were very pleased. The room was quaint and well outfitted (even a welcome treat) and the service was very friendly. The history of the building was well displayed and very interesting. Both meals were very good. Highlights included large shrimp, an extremely tender cut of beef and excellent waffles.

A charming, historically significant Inn in the heart of Wine Country
September 28, 2012This is my third time at the Keefer. I love the intimate surroundings, the grounds, the dining experience and the accommodations.
