Great food great staff makes a great time

We are regulars here. The staff are friendly. The food is always very good. A great place to have a great time. We went for the Sunday brunch today! There was a ton of choices and everything was delicious.

Love this place

OMG this place its my favorite one and I actually miss so much since I relocated.
I used to visit it almost every weekend, LOVE the fact that people who visit it are not teenagers, they are around on their 30´s, so you can feel in a very good and relax environment.

Central Coquitlam's "Cheers" Pub

Great menu and good prices. I've eaten here many times and find the service very friendly and quick. They offer live music some nights. It's quite busy and noisy on game nights so keep this in mind if noise is an issue for you.

The choices of foods and beverages make this place fantastic!
Service is good and friendly.
Atmosphere is kinda simple but nice, almost a little bit romantic.
There's a outside patio fun for warmer weather and smoking.
It's clean, even the bathrooms.

Good food and service varied menu. Fully wheelchair accessible. You can comfortably order food without ordering any alcohol. Very nice patio during summer weather.

There is a great menu here. Lots of choices from burgers to salads to appetizers. Service is good and lots of parking.

We have been to the John B. several times over the years. recently there for a birthday celebration with friends this week. It is always good!! Overall John B's food is of a high quality and very good. However I found the brunch to be lacking. There was a large variety of food but a lot of it was just lukewarm. The sauce for the eggs benedict which you poured yourself was not warm. The deepfried foods were cold. Other foods in warmers were barely warm.... more

Portions are huge. I had the mussels, which were the absolute best I've ever had. Fantastic beer selection. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Gorgeous bartender! My only complaint is the noise level. I needed ear plugs. Seriously, I had to leave because my ears hurt. But if you like that sort of thing.... Go for the food when it's not busy!... more

Had the Sunday brunch buffet. While there's an internationally diverse selection (sushi, perogies, tiny samosas, curried pasta, etc) and it's all-you-can-eat, at least three-quarters of the food is pre-prepped and just warmed onsite. Quick Food; Appealing taste

great food. nice presentation. good value.
try ANY of the burgers. I enjoyed the upper area seating. Lots of TV. Not overly loud (we were there at 5 pm). Inside decor is wonderful. Outside a little drab, but comfortable and attractive inside. I give this a 9.5 out of 10.

Consistently good food

The menu is varied and food is always prepared to perfection. Service is also outstanding with all the servers being friendly and attentive but not pushy.

Excellent Neighbourhood Pub

This is a regular visiting place for some co-workers and I. Their menu is enormous, and the quality is always great. The servers work hard, and the atmosphere is very inviting. Highly recommended for the quick lunch, or casual dinner.

Slowest service

The food was nothing special. I constantly had to go to the bar and get my own drinks. And it wasn't even busy. Half the tables where empty.

Superb neighbourhood pub

This is a reasonably bit sports bar. Weekly entertainment as well. Extensive menu of food and draft beer. Monday wings special for instance is excellent quality food. Mixed generations place with a heavy emphasis on the various sporting events. We have been reasonably loyal since 1987.

This is my favorite pub. I have eaten there dozens of times and my favourite meal is the beef tenderloin oscar.

Unique Experience, Great Food

When travelling for work, I usually stick to chain restaurants, however, John B came highly reccomended for good food, good beer, and to watch sports.
The restaurant was a little difficult to find (this was my first time in Coquitlam), but once found it has easy parking, and quick service.

Excellent Brunch

I have been to a few places for brunch, but since I started going to the John B for brunch, it is now the only place I go. I am usually there about once a month and it is always great!

Best Chicken Wings Ever

The decor is horrible, the clientele is questionable, but the food and drinks are amazing. Chicken wings are simply the best.

This is the BEST neighborhood pub in Coquitlam if you like top-notch food, wide beer and liquour seletions and GREAT 'SCENERY'. I highly recommend the SUNDAY BRUNCH. It is the best deal in the city.
