Honestly delicious burritos! Fresh ingredients! Way to expensive almost $13 for a small burrito! Also there is a blonde lady(I think she's the manager) she always wears one glove. Touches the cash and whatever else with the same bare hand that she makes your food with. Yuck! Other than that yummy food
chorizo, mango salsa, feta, crumpled nacho.. These are things you can't get at the other guys
Love Jimmy Guacos!! In my opinion best Burrito in Oshawa! Great quality and great sized! I have tried every other spot in Oshawa at least once and nothing compares.
Nothing to rave about or to go out your way.
Meat was extremely dry, and the portion wasn't very large.
Wouldn't make a trip out there or really honestly recommend to friends. There are a lot of better choices available!
This is definitely not a Chipotle Chain!
Very good fresh Mexican. Made up while you wait and you chose the fresh ingredients. Portions are large and prices reasonable. A very casual eatery. We will be back!
Addicted to the pulled pork burrito... Other than that service is fast, friendly, menu is simple and delish. Can go wrong with anything you try.
I love Jimmy Guaco's, the food is fresh and delicious but today I had a bad experience, it wasn't the food although my burrito was cold because she didn't take the time to heat it up property it was the service, she was rude and made me feel like I was a total inconvenience. I showed up right at 11am and was their 1st customer of the day, she made me feel like I did something wrong and I... more
I really like this place so I hope the managers at Jimmy Guaco's (Oshawa) take this as constructive criticism. I wanted to email this to management but could not find contact information online:
I ate at this located the week of June 5th. The rice was so crunchy it was inedible. This is unacceptable in a burrito place, especially when the bowl I paid for was around $17.00. Also, the sweet...

I need to start this off by saying that I LOVE LOVE LOVE Jimmy Guaco's. However, last night a few of us hit up Jimmy's about 20 min before closing. We were informed by our server that they closed soon and were totally fine with taking our order to go. It was clear from the jump the young man behind the counter was angry as hell he had to serve us. The look on his face was pure hatred. He was... more
Arrived at the end of the night and food was still fresh and tasty. Customer service was great, we were there for the first time and they were very helpful with giving us a complete breakdown of things..definitely worth a try
The service here is amazing. The young man who served us went above and beyond what would be expected at a fast food place. He came over to our table to see if our meal was good and told us to let him know if... more
This eatery has very good food and at reasonable prices. great owners and great staff. Yes u know it's a good eatery when the local police frequent it. Great for a burrito on the run. You get to have whatever fixings you want.
Good portions (we ordered small buritos and still big to our need) :)) Good taste. Staff were nice and plenty of parking as we came in the weekend so the opposite paid parking was free!
Jimmy Guaco's used to be the best. They ran the town with their burritos. Though it seems now, the owner has opted for cheaper quality food for higher price. Last time I went in I noticed that they had changed the quality of their ingredients (specifically the cheese..it was that hard, shaggy long square "grated" cheese instead of the original stuff). I went in around 9pm on a night when... more
I was in Oshawa to see a customer and used yelp to find this place and the reviews are accurate. Nice little place and the food was excellent. I had a burrito with chicken, and all the fixings. The final grilling in the panini grill made it that much bette with a crunchy tortilla shel and nicely warmed but not too hot interior. I will seek it out the next time I am in the area.
Jimmy G's is good but inconsistent with their quality. I have had some great burritos but some really sloppy ones too. It's also like $10 for a small burrito
My favorite thing about Jimmy Guac's is the mango salsa, I've not seen anything like this at any other Burrito place - so give it a try on your next Burrito! Also, if you are having chicken and/or sweet potato (I usually have the combo... more
We have been here on numerous occasions, and just recently we have been told an extra scoop of the "specialty salsa" is an additional charge. Of 2 dollars!!! That is unbelievable. We got two burritos in a bowl which came to 25 dollars almost, and... more
We stopped in for a quick bite before a Gens game. Place fills up before / after an event at the Tribute Centre. Meal was delicious and portion size was massive for the price we paid.
Damn that's good s@!t.
On a chilly day, a bite into a steaming hot burrito from Jimmy Guaco's will set you right. Or any day, really.
The burritos here are the s@!t - the ingredients are fresh and plentiful (including the guac, at no extra charge!) and the sauce hits the spot. The steak is particularly good, with better quality meat than I would have expected for burrito filling. Be warned,...

food was amazing, but it was so cold inside the restaurant! I had to eat with my jacket on. But the food is totally worth it
We stumbled upon this chain and loved it! The best thing to order are the burritos.
I liked this place a lot better than the typical burrito places. For example, I was impressed with how the fish and shrimp burritos are actually cooked to order. The fish is deep-fried to perfection and wonderfully crispy. There are also more salsas (mango, yum!!!) and sauces available and they don't charge...

Ok well the burritos are second to none and you can even get a burrito in a bowl with all the toppings. the toppings are fresh and the burritos are huge. Wonderful flavours and sauces, very home made and delicious!! Love this place. We go... more
Honestly the best place ever for quesadila. I have been to so many Mexican resturants but this place.. I had the chorizo quesadila.
Freshly chopped veggies.
Only one thing was that the the chorizo meat was a bit too oily for me as there was oil all over my box, but otherwise it was so extremely satisfying and a must for all burrito lovers to try it.
The very handsome male waiter treated me...

We came in off the 401 for these guys and man was it worth it! Please come downtown Toronto! You're burritos ROCK. And no charge for guacamole! Best burrito I have ever had.
Guaco's has been a fairly good burrito place since it opened. Friendly service and average burritos. Whenever I go there I end up getting the Jimmy G because the chicken is far to bland.I dislike that they raised prices and don't let you have as many of the salsas as you want.
I used to live in downtown Toronto so the quality of burritos that Jimmy Guaco's had to compete against was set pretty high. I tried a few burrito places in Oshawa and this place is still my favorite. Great fresh ingredients, nice big serving sizes, good prices. I will definitely be back.
Chose this place because of the reviews...but they must have been talking about some place else. We ordered 3 items. The chorizo burrito was mediocre. The chicken quesadilla fell apart because there wasn't enough cheese to melt it together. The nachos were worse than what you would receive from a ballpark vendor. Extra cost for guacamole.
Bathroom was clean but no paper towel to dry hands.
Went went before the concert Saturday at the GM Centre. It wasn't that busy and it took a while to get our food. The portions seem to be smaller here now and the food quality isn't the same. Might give it another try. The one women working was also very pushy. If you want customers to return, be friendly.
Great tasting burritos. They also have bowls and Salad options. Beef, pork, veggie and fish. Gauc is included and super tasty.
There is a small dining area in the back.
Came around 1pm and there was a line up. Great option if looking for lunch in the area.
Jimmy Guaco's had a nearly a perfect rating on Yelp so I just had to come here and try it out. Good news: It stacks well with the other popular chain burrito places such as chipotle, mucho burrito, and burrito boyz.
Had the burrito in the bowl and there was just so much food there. It was $11 but it was so worth it! We ended up sharing the entire thing. The amount of toppings is insane. All...

Best burritos around ! Ask for chips on the burrito and it's heavenly ! I always get the pulled pork sweet potato and it's so big I can barely finish. It's a small restaurant with a nice outside area to sit in the summer months. Eat here almost every week!
By far my favourite Burrito place! (sorry Chipotle) There is a large selection of meats and fresh toppings, plus the guac is free. Be sure to try the nachos if you're in the mood for something different. Delicious!
Just as good, if not better than the heavy hitters downtown Toronto. Plus guacamole isn't extra! How can you go wrong? Fresh and delicious toppings and a number of meat options and combinations. My favourite is the Jimmy G. Every burrito should contain corn chips! The staff is always friendly and service is quick.
Found this place by accident a while ago when looking for something to eat when most of the usual places I went to were closed. The staff are helpful and friendly. The food is great. Good selection of toppings.
Great Burritos ! Fresh & delish ! Much better than any chain. Pleasant service! Thank you guys!
I will not give this place my service, every time I'm in your v.i.p garbage bin lounge you're employees always come out and shoo me away with a broom. I'm disgusted
Amazing Burritos. Enough said. Fresh toppings, flavourful meats, fish and shrimp. All other items (tacos, quesadillas) are good as well. The only thing that I would add is a liqour license to sell some Mexican beer to go with their food. Open late Sat. Nights. Not stingy with the guac!!!!!
It is def a place to go. Great food. The burritos better than anywhere else. Something did change there in the last year or so. Menu got smaller. Unsure. The staff, could be a little more pleasant. They seem a little annoyed that you are there. But they are making food what do you expect.
But I will go back and have been back a bunch of times
This place is amazing. Didn't think it was going to be better than burrito boyz but it is definitely right up there with it. Fresh ingredients, friendly service. Will definitely be back next time in Oshawa.
Try the Jimmy G burrito.
By far my favourite fast food place and pretty much one of the only things Oshawa should be good for!!!
I only wish there were more locations!! I believe this place to be a founding leader of the now popular burrito franchises popping everywhere . The fresh condiments and flavourful food made onsite distinguishes itself from the copycat chains and can't be beat!!
Fast, friendly customer...

Great burritos and quesadillas! No extra charge for guacamole, great selection of toppings and even the small size is heavy! The habanero sauce is really hot and to my liking. Nice outdoor patio and lots of seating inside with great service.
Had the Tacos in a bowl, really, really good. Huge portions. Tried 4 meats, 3 were amazing, beef was chewy. Lots of toppings from which to choose. Very fresh. Many salsas. I will come back again and again. I highly recommend it.
Loaded Fries and Burritos. Best around.
I've stumbled in here on many occasions drunk as a skunk.
Every time I eat a burrito here it ALWAYS falls apart, always drips and becomes this huge mess. They barely drain any meat and i get this huge puddle of grease. Delicious anyway.
Best burritos in Durham. I've been a regular here for two years and I've always had great food. Huge portions, great selection of meats and toppings, and everything tastes great. I'm a huge fan of the burritos and burrito bowls, and my girlfriend swears by the tacos. Love the selection of salsas, sauces, and toppings. The mango salsa and maple chipotle sauce are both fantastic! I recommend... more
Fresh ingredients make tasty burritos. Lots of choices! Excellent burritos and delicious guacamole.
Gross food for a high price...
The food was just gross, I started feeling sick and couldn't finish my burrito, so I only ate 2/3rds of my burrito before just giving up. Once I stopped eating it and started eating something else later on, I felt better, so it was the burrito's fault, somehow. I think it just tasted so bad that my body just wouldn't let me eat it all, even though my brain said...

The best burrito I have ever had and will ever have. The crown jewel of Oshawa.
I go here all the time as it is one block away from class and it always makes the day 100% better. The best fast-mexican-food that you can get, and better than a lot of mexican sit down restaurants as well.
The tortillas are grilled to crispy perfection, the chicken is moist and amazing, the pico and mango salsas...

I tried to eat here, but the food is rather expensive and tastes a little too processed, as if everything has chemicals. It's a step above Taco Bell, but the competition down the road has me sold :) If you're from Oshawa, you know the authentic side of the Mexican cuisine is just around the corner.Maybe try and move a little bit away from processed foods and a highly corporate approach. The guac is awesome, which is important to me - and you don't pay extra for it. Prompt service, friendly folks, nice little place they have with tasty food. I like the more purist real authentic Viva Burritos around the corner too - but I can support multiple burrito suppliers in town I think.
I love this place! I worked in Oshawa for 2 weeks and probably came here for lunch about 6 times :S
I'm a huge fan of burrito bowls and they make a great one here. They are massive and cheap (perhaps I'm used to the prices of burritos downtown toronto).
Anyway, my favourite was the sweet potato burrito bowl - they have a ton of selection for toppings here, and they are all very fresh! Guac is...
