Fantastic entertainment right at your table and the food is hot, fresh and very tasty. Great first date restaurant.
Excellent night out. Fantastic dinner and a show, the chef is well worth the price in itself. Fun and friendly staff.
Reservations for the Teppan Grill are a must.
It is expensive but worth every penny. I usually can get away with the teriyaki beef combo that comes with soup, salad, and rice (don't for get to ask for steak sauce). The main course comes with mushrooms, veggies, and, of course, teriyaki beef. I spent C$19, plus tip.
located across from the westin and a mainstay in edmonton for over twenty five years , the japanese village is the ultimate dining experience .watch the chefs perform an array of acrobatic culinary delights right in front of you, as they prepre the food right at you table.great fun and highly recommended.
The food is excellent and fun to eat as they cook your food on the table in front of you.Noty only is the food unique in flavour, but the show itself will leave you awe struck. The way the chefs handle their knives while preparing your dinner is worth the wait to get in.
Excellent food. Great if you want something different. They cook for you right at your table.
Without a doubt, the best restaurant I have ever visited. The service was spectacular. We had a wonderful time in the tepan room! Definitely, a place to revisit!
Really awsome Sushi and great service. An all round good place.
Thirty years in operation can mean only one thing: this place is good! An Edmonton institution, Japanese Village is a teppan yaki style restaurant, where skilled chefs slice, dice, sling and flip until you've had a beautiful multi-course meal. It's great fun for kids, but even if you don't have any to take along, it's still worth checking out. Along with acrobatically prepared beef, chicken and... more
"Dazzling sleight-of-hand, bite size bits of steak and seafood. Chop, season, sizzle. That`s teppan-grill dining at Japanese"
