What do you expect from a franchise, boil in the bag ribs. There is nothing good to say about this place. More for kids who want safe food like McDonalds. If you like pumpin club music while you eat

Staff is friendly and happy. Decor is interesting. The lights made of recycled bottles caught the eye. Though my steak was a pinch tough it was cooked to perfection and my potatoes were so good I wanted to over eat.

Good food . . . service leaves something to be desired

Great variety of food, and everything was tasty but wait staff really struggled to bring any of our requests... like more water or soda. How about the correct bill? Sure we were there with a large group, but it took 2 -3 revisions to get even close to the right bill.

I have been to Jack Astor\s with the family, with friends, and as a couple. Love the food and atmosphere, the price are very good and the portions are very generous.

Not as good as it used to be, but not bad. It's good if you're just looking for a place to eat and can't decide.

Look the food is standard roadhouse...but a fun bar staff

Look Jack Astor's food isn't fab. its standard roadhouse stuff.

Disappointed

It was absolutely packed when I went on a Friday night with my boyfriend and was looking forward to it because it was the fullest restaurant in the plaza.

Great atmosphere

Love the atmosphere! The high energy of the waiters and waitresses is great. Food is typical bar food, but good. Portions are fine! If you are bored, you can colour or draw on their paper tablecloths. Service is pretty fast! Lots of fun!

Great service we had a great waiter food arrived within short wait even though the restaurant was busy, our waiter was always around to make sure we got what we needed, food was great no complaints very great dinner place.

A co-worker took me there for a "going away" dinner since I'm moving. The service is okay. Nothing miraculous but we weren't ignored either. Excellent service, even at it's peak hours

Went to this Jack Astor's location for date night last Saturday. Had to wait about 20 mins for a table but we didn't mind. It was packed! We sat down at the bar and ordered a couple drinks, the bartenders were very speedy.

There's quite a bit of variety on their menu to satisfy various tastes. Staff is friendly and helpful.

After it became impossible to find a decent place in uptown to watch UFC. We ended up looking for a go to place in the suburbs. All these chain restaurants are the same in price...dinner will cost you about $20, but the food at Jack's is great. I never had a dish I didn't like and the garlic bread cannot be beat..anywhere in canada!!
