excellent value
A healthy portion of South Asian food at a good price. Limited menu. Nice, friendly and casual atmosphere. Be prepared for a wait when it's crowded.
great food - great price
This hidden gem found along the way up to signal hill is a must try in my books.
One must have an open mind when eating here although will will not be disappointed. You eat what they have cooked in the kitchen and your choice includes vegetarian, chicken or beef ( or all the above! )
Great for a quick filling lunch when walking around DT, or to take home.
Small appetites can share a meal... they're pretty large in size!

Best Indian food in St. John's
July 21, 2010What I love about International Flavours? The owner - they don't come any nicer. The choices - simple. With meat or not. Small or large. Add some naan or not. Water or mango juice? Which leaves me free to just savour the flavour - which is wonderful! And, they adapt local produce into the traditional dishes.

Great Find
February 19, 2010I ended up here on my walk through downtown St. Johns. ~$9 for small plate and ~$11 for large. I got the small chicken curry plate. It came with two types of lentil curries, two types of vegetarian dishes and some chicken curry served on some very nicely flavored rice. All in all a great deal and nice comfort food. Try it for the simplicity of it. It's nothing fancy. Just good old home made... more
