I also loved the wide range of lamb dishes on the menu. I tried the lamb dahiwala ($13.50), a yogurt curry flavoured... more
This is where we go when we are hungry and want some Indian food. A good buffet with both the standard items one would expect (like Butter Chicken) and things you might not, like goat Curry. The naan bread is particularly good and the lamb curry was excellent as well. A good assortment of both meat and vegetarian choices (and... more
Last night, me and my family visited Da India Vegetarian. The service and food was awesome. This is so far at the top list of my favourite restaurants. I will be visiting very soon. :)
I have only eaten here once and the experience was so bad that I will never go back. They did not season their food at all. It was incredibly bland. To make matters worse, the chicken appeared to be partially raw.
This meal was as tasty as any that I have had in Nepal and just as real. I had the Lamb Masala, Garlic Naan Bread and their lentil soup off the menu and thoroughly enjoyed everything. The service was good and there was a nice mix of flavours. If I visit Regina again I would certainly take advantage of the... more
I had an overnight in Regina and needed a curry fix. Trust the Trip Advisor Palate. Within an hour I was in a taxi on my way to Da Curry House. The buffet was good, the naan was spectacular, hot and a bit crispy. Kingfisher for a bevvy, perfect. Butter chicken and the paneer dish called for seconds. The owner... more
Recently my daughter asked us to join her for lunch at the Da India Curry House located on Victoria Avenue. She is a world traveler and has experienced Indian food in many countries. Having never eaten Indian food I was somewhat reluctant but ended up being pleasantly surprised. We chose the luncheon buffet which has a varieties of items to choose from. I particularly enjoyed the Butter... more
I've never had a real Indian meal before but wow was this place tasty! they also have a separate restaurant for vegetarians which is also close by. my boyfriend and I went for the lunch buffet today. the restaurant was a nice little setting and the waitress was polite. you get endless fresh naan bread and tandori chicken. it wasnt overly spicy just right for me! my fav. dish was the paneer in... more
my husband went to Da Curry House and decided to have the buffet which had excellent food, we also ordered 1 chocolate milk and a lassie we waited and waited and ask for it 3 times and still did not get it then went we were almost finish our meal my husband went to the counter and ask for a diet coke which he got. Even though the food was good because of the service we will never go back there.... more
Enjoyed the food here. Way better taste/flavors than Spices of Punjab. Would definitely go again. The naan were amazing. I had the malai kofta and it was mouth watering, was disappointed that I only got 3 dumplings in the whole dish.
The samosas can be improved as they seemed a bit dry and unsavory. The rest of my table enjoyed...

Not the best Indian food I've had... Its ok but Spices of Punjab still the best in Regina... more
On of the "go to" places for consistently great South Asian food in Regina. Da India Curry House moved into more spacious surroundings, but didn't forget to pack its superb food.
We tried Da Curry House for supper last evening and while the spread of food at the buffet seemed impressive the food was only warm to room temperature which was a let-down as it did not give the impression that anything was really all that fresh. Fish pakora (which is typically a favourite of mine) was room temperature and soggy... more
Having had my fair share of Indian foodmy partner insisted that we had to visit this curry house.
The starters were a lot pricier than I am used to back home but there was nothing wrong with the quality of the Chicken Pakora, which is served on a spiced bed of lettuce with sauce for dipping.
Moving onto the main...

The old location is still open as a Vegetarian restaurant, but the new location is only a few blocks east. The new location has a slightly more upscale feel, compared to the old location.
I have always enjoyed ordering a la carte from D.I.C.H. and this time we decided to try their lunch buffet. Our twin 17-month olds loved the...

I tried the butter chicken at mosaic this year and really enjoyed it. I don't remember it being overly spicy or anything.. What stuck out for me was the delicious creamy tomato flavour combined with the spices. So good! I will definitely be visiting them soon!
Just had the dinner buffet and it was amazing!!
Good food. Good service. Waiters and owner very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the buffet but not sure what some dishes were. Would go again.
Spicy, delicious, I could go on and on. Also, a buffet like this for 10.95 during the lunch hour, cannot go wrong. I hate tofu, but they converted me, and that is saying a lot. Butter chicken was juicy, flavorful, and just the right amount of heat. You can tell ingredients were fresh! Decor is not the greatest, but with food this good, who cares! Highly recommend.
got take out for the first time and it was delicious. we had the veg pakora, lamb dahiwala and shrimp curry. all fresh made to order. can't wait to go back
This is by far the best Indian restaurant in Regina. The ingredients are fresh, the menu is extensive and original and the owners are always polite working hard to ensure that the everything is cooked to perfection and the customers are happy. The buffet is excellent and the menu is even more excellent. I never had one bad dish there. I love the place. The only down side is the ambiance;... more
Lunch buffet is fabulous. This is probably the best Indian restaurant in Regina. If you want chai order it as soon as you walk in as it takes a while. Excellent value.
I usually don't go back to the same restaurant, unless at least a few months have gone by. But this time, I made an exception. Don't tell my mom, but this place makes Indian food almost as good as home cooking.
The baingan bhartha (eggplant) is a favourite.
Da India Curry House is the best Indian restaurant in Regina. I don’t photograph it often because the dishes... more
Me and my boyfriend are frequent visiters. as we stepped in the restruant, we were expecting a great welcome as Tasha use to give us.unfortunatly we were greeted with a question from a new waitreess asking " do you know your order"? .That question was a greeting statment for us,and it was quiet a big shock. well we sat and than when we started eating our meal it was very HOT.,normally i am... more
Consistently serves up amazing dishes. There are a few great Indian restaurants in Regina, but this is the one to which we always come back, again and again. Tried their Lamb Biryani this time and it blew our minds.
Everyday buffet has good selection.
Recommended ordering in or take out by the menu. Much better than buffet service.
Try Lam/Chicken Masala.....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED>!
but does not beat Flavours of India. They need to increase portions, be more caring about requests from customers.
Go for the buffet! They have a great selection of food, as well as AMAZING rice pudding! You won't be disappointing! Also, the service is great. The owner is very friendly and gets to know you better the more you come!

We went for a quick dinner on 9 sept. 2012 evening. we had lamb curry ($11.95) which comes with complementary steamed basmati-rice. we also had plain naan ($1.99 each) and some sweets. The lamb curry tasted really good though we think the meat was not as tender as it should have been. we ordered medium spicy. the naan was okay. the owner was friendly and helpful. the restaurant was clean....

I went to India Curry House with two friends who like Indian food, but not as much as I do. A coworker had suggested that I order the food as "authentic", where the food is cooked according to the recipe instead of being made mild, medium or hot. We ordered lamb methi, chicken tikka masala, and chicken Goa curry, plus nan, papadum, etc etc. (They have no beef dishes) We were very pleased with... more
I have been to this place for number of times and each time I was impressed with the polite and courteous service received from its owner. The place is a bit small so you have to be there by 11:45AM to accomodate bigger group.
Excellent service, poor taste. I must point out I only tried the buffet and usually off the menu is much better. The butter chicken was alright and so was the nann bread however everything else was lacking the tasteful punch of a great curry.
I'd advise you to visit early in the week, but be warned that DA India Curry House is NOT open Tuesdays. The room is small and fills quickly. Buffet is good, but menu has excellent choices too. The owner, Harry, was cook at a competitor until this year. He'll make just about anything you want, but be careful of what is considered "hot." It's been a hot summer, so order a cooling mango lassi.... more
Our family gets this for delivery very often. A few times we sit there and eat, but it's small and quaint. Even though it's tiny the food is amazing, it has the best indian food in Regina. Most of the dishes are heavy but good, and they have a unique taste even though it's Indian food. All their dishes are a little different from your average butter chicken. I recommend if you like Indian food... more
Saw new restaurant thought of trying it cuz am tired of others – others charge too much – always for no reason over charged me for nothing – not much variety -
Da India – Initial feel – restaurant is not big – but who cares – menu is HUGE – and not too pricy – good fast service – awesome taste – what else to ask for???
Awesome!
We offer lunch buffet, dinner a la cartè and catering for all types of events We are a family business In addition to familiar Indian dishes, our restaurant diverges into new and exotic regional fare with names you won’t find in most Indian restaurants in the Prairies
Da India Curry house is a Vegetarian and East Indian restaurant where most Menuism users came for a family meal, paid between $10 and $25, and tipped less than 15%.
