Not as exciting as the reviews made it out to be
May 28, 2014I ate the tradtional philly. It came with a large hot pepper that was a treat. The sandwich couldn't be more fresh and made from steak in front of me. Amazing Portion

...after walking past this place about a dozen times on my way to work from the Courtyard, I finally decided to take a chance.
They definitely did their homework and got the decor and language down (e.g., "wit" vs. "wit-out"), only with the Canadian politeness that you will not find on 9th/Passyunk , for example, or anywhere else in Philly....

It is not every day that you find great value, quality and service in Toronto in the fast food category. Under five minutes for fresh Philly sandwich with provolone cheese, real Cheese Whiz and hand cut Yukon Golds. The lady at the cash was simply delightful. Wonderful music playing.
Tihs is likely best Philly Cheese under ten dollars in toronto....

Really hits the spot
June 23, 2013If you're looking for an authentic and delicious cheesesteak, look no further in Toronto. This is the only place I've found in Toronto that actually very accurately mimics the originals in Philly. Prices are very reasonable and service is fast, and the sandwiches are made to order.

May 08, 2013I went here last night while on a business trip in Toronto. Small place, certainly feels like some of the cheesesteak locations in Philadelphia. I went to Philly and it was amazing!
First I ate 'the traditional' and half of the gf's 'the works.' They were the best philly steaks I've had in Toronto bar none.
After that, I felt like trying the cheeseburger; the homemade beef was delicious and the buns were soft, soaking up the grease to make each bite heavenly.

Everything was great about this place. The taste was just like you would find in Phil's or Gino's in Philly. The fries were a really nice treat as well. It wasn't the same size as you might find in Philly but that is understandable since it is in Canada. The price was reasonable for a restaurant on Yonge Street.

Been a while since I had a Cheesesteak
January 16, 2013Went to Geno's and Pat's eons ago in Philadelphia so it has been a long while since I had a cheesesteak. This place hit the spot. Opened in the summer of 2012. Near authentic cheesesteak, had mine wit onions and American Cheese. Reasonably priced in my opinion, good fries. Nice addition to Yonge Street. Hope that the quality lasts.
