Full service 4-star hotel complex, located midway between the airport and downtown Montreal, and steps from the metro/subway system. Spacious Deluxe bedrooms and Standard bedrooms
Pretty decent place and pricing is good prob. cause it's not directly in downtown montreal. C@!%!y gym though and there's not much in walking distance. There's something cheesy yet appealing about the decor and the name of the hotel. Would stay here again if driving / have car.
I checked in early (10AM), which I thought was pretty great, considering most hotels only accept check-ins after 3PM. I had a nice room facing the highway/motorway (some people might be appalled at how close the hotel is to the road, but don't worry - you won't hear a peep from the traffic). The restaurant downstairs (eggspectations) was decent, but I chose to not eat there aside from breakfast... plus
Old hotel but renovated. Not bad for the price. The location is very central to all popular locations I needed to go to. Pool is ok but no hot tub
Stayed at this hotel and was pleased with its comfortable beds cleanliness and excellent staff. Location is good for navigating all points in Montreal. Can't go wrong
Had a very pleasant stay. Friendly staff, good accommodation, clean room, especially comfortable bed & bedding. On a return visit to Montreal I will be happy to say at Ruby Foo's again.
we have booked 4 nights at this hotel, it is really nice place to stay . So many resturant around the hotel. Have one restaurant downstair , the guide is so nice and food is nice . Japanese buffet and one store center on the opporsist of the hotel , so convenient to go to downtown by Metro . Good place to stay . We have stay one more day here .
The hotel bed was comfortable and has easy access to downtown Montreal.
The hotel itself was nice with good décor but the location was odd. It was right on a main highway with nothing close by. The restaurant was empty our entire stay, as well as the spa. We were sightseeing and had to take the subway to all locations. The ice machine was outside our door and a group came in very late and loud getting lots of ice. Other than the location, it was a nice place to stay.
Fully equipped huge quiet room, lacking only in-room safe box .Relaxing athmosphere in comparison to down-town hotel.Next to Metro station. Friendly competent staff.Clean. Breakfast not included.Would come again.
Inside is new and clean. Smiling stuffs make you feel welcomed. Free parking is a plus.
Very pleasant booking in procedure very quick. Room clean and comfortable. Housekeeping woke me on the first morning at 8am to come in and clean (not good). Pool was excellent and a lifeguard was on duty for the duration of opening hours. The only down side for me was it is far from the centre of Montréal but the ease of using the Metro was some consolation. The restaurant Eggspectation was... plus
This hotel is good enough if you want something clean and not crazy expensive on the Metro. For the price I found the rooms a little small and it's clear that while they've updated the decor, the basic stuff is in need of repair. The heating/cooling vent in the room was ancient and made a terrible noise when it turned on. They fixed it as best they could, but it still woke us up every nite.... plus
The front desk staff was very welcoming and helpful. Our kids had to kill a lot of time at events during the day, and it was soo nice returning to a hotel where they were actually allowed to have fun and be kids and PLAY in the pool, the lifeguards were great. I also felt like we had the ONLY free parking in Montreal!!! My husband enjoyed getting the "royal treatment" including straight razor... plus
We found our room to be bigger than the average hotel room. Beds were comfortable. We did not use the pool but it was packed when we walked by. Parking was included. Two minute walk to subway.
Bell man was really helpful with some gratitude, as well as the front seat was really helpful too
Clean room and hotel. Staff was helpful identifying restaurants and getting items I requested. Free parking was very nice. Near where I wanted to be for work, but a bit from the city of Montreal.
Hotel had a great pool area with plenty of room and chairs. The pool was clean and large and you felt like you were in a resort. The hotel was also very modern and new.
Nous aimons beaucoup cet hôtel parce qu'il est accessible, avec des restos où l'on peu aller à pied et que le métro est à 2 pas.
Perfect location for a business trip and close enough to the downtown area. Very comfortable and clean. I had no complaints. Parking was very convenient as well with unlimited free access.
Everything is fine although linens could be better. 2 elevators in 1 building and 2 in another mean a good chance of a lot of walking. Not a great location to do touristy things but decent in you want to be in that area.
The hotel was a block away from the metro. The hotel isn't in the best location BUT it was extremely convenient. There's a ton of fast food places and 24 hr places around the hotel. Right on the Orange line. Bed was extremely comfy! I will stay here again.
very nice well kept area. Parking is gated and made you feel safe, as Canada is know for having next to everything stolen that is not guarded.
We've stayed at Ruby Foo's numerous times and keep going back. They recently renovated and everything was very clean (very important). The staff is very helpful and the location is perfect for our purposes.
Every year when I visit Montreal with my family from Toronto, I stay at Ruby Foos. Clean rooms and facilities. Nice and friendly staff. Nice location.
I have stayed at this place during our montreal - quebec in 2013 and I would say this is one of the best budget hotels with very decent setup. The room is spacious , clean interiors and above all the bathroom was very well maintained. It has a good kitchen and it is very much commutable to nearby clubs and... plus
Ruby Foo is a comfortable stay. Montreal being a busy city, Ruby Foo helps you unwind from the hectic touring you will be doing. The service is good and the hotel affordable. The breakfast could have been a little more expansive. Overall, good.
This is a very desirable hotel. It is well located, thoroughly renovated and has excellent service from the front desk, concierge and housekeeping. The hotel's restaurant is mediocre at best and never busy. Best to avoid because Montreal is a city of great restaurants. Amenities such as outdoor pool and complimentary parking are advantages. And it is always competitively priced... plus
My favorite Montreal Hotel.
The parking is easy and plentyful. Good security. Close to Metro Namur station. Beds are comfortable. Shower is strong and plenty of hot water. Clean and comfortable. Good value.
Situated in midtown, this hotel offer large, spacious and clean rooms. The pool was not open during my stay but it looked nice. The hotel is pretty much in the middle of the city and not close to any of the attractions but it is close to the Metro , which provides direct access to the city.A comfortable hotel that I would recommend.
Stayed two nights for business. Hotel staff was very helpful. Room was great. Nice and quiet. Very Clean. All amenities in the room were nice. I did use the health room. It's open 24 hrs which is great. Need your room key to access. Good amount of equipment. Towels provided. Restaurant was good. We had breakfast and one dinner there.... plus
Good location close to airport at decent price. Great room that was comfortable and clean. The wooden window treatment was great to block light and noise while sleeping. Bathroom was clean with nice shower pressure.
Food at the restaurant in house was pricey for what you got. Dessert was not worth it at all.
We booked a reception room to accommodate 35-40 people only one date before the event. Ruby Foo's was able to fulfill this order. The reception hall was spotless and the service was more than we could have hoped for. Although the food we ordered was simple, it was fresh and tasty. Cathy the co-ordinator was very helpful and we have... plus
Pleasant and clean hotel with free parking near TMR without the hassle of driving from downtown Montreal or from the Trudeau Airport. There is a metro / subway nearby too. Good rates for groups and accessing highways to ski country.
I ended up with this hotel as an express deal on Priceline for 2 nights. I was really looking to stay downtown but got confused since this hotel is labeled as "Midtown" on Priceline. Luckily it was close to the metro station but certainly not the location I wanted. Don't make the same mistake! I was really disappointed when I... plus
Not too impressed with this property. The hotel looks quite dated and feels old. It's as though they tried a reno but fell short. They tried but it's just not good enough.

If you have to visit Montreal (considered among the coldest major cities in world) during the winter (and any season), want a pleasant hotel that is fairly priced, don't want the hastle of navigating or parking in tightly cramped downtown Montreal, Ruby Foo's is an ideal place to stay. We stayed there for a family reunion. The hotel is located not too far from the airport and several businesses. It is not really for tourist, since it is far from downtown. Mattress and pillows were too hard for my liking, wasn't comfortable at night! It was too hot in the room!
Nice room, clean comfortable, great idea for a curtain black to room out lovely.
Breakfast was good, staff were friendly and professional.
And even better you can walk down to Tiffanie's for breakfast.
And if you like it you can cross over and go the the Orange Julip
We had a long term stay during renos and stayed in a suite, which had a kitchenette. The room had a queen bed, a sofabed, lots of closet space, a half-size fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, three burners and a small oven. The set up made it really easy for us to live mostly normally.

We were really impressed by the quality of the rooms and the service of this place. Family members are repeat customers, and I can see why- it's near a Metro station and an awesome Indian restaurant. Everything was super close.
This Hotel is very pleasant, convenient, rooms are big, modern and clean, vast free parking lot, nearby metro station, and good Italian restaurant. I've been here several times, all were very good. Recommended!
As per usual when coming to Montreal we stay at Hotel Ruby Foos. the whole hotel has been renovated. the rooms are large, clean and well appointed. the bathrooms are also large. This is a good hotel in Montreal. I've never heard of this brand but a friend recommended it because it was close to the company I was visiting. 走路3分钟之内可以到地铁站,5分钟之内是个较大的PLAZA,有很多快餐店。房间较大,床舒服。对于不想在DOWNTOWN花钱花时间找停车位、路痴的我来说,相当不错。前台很nice.
Good restaurant, all the staff were helpful, professional and polite. Clean, roomy and comfortable room.
Key cards (both) failed 2nd night - long walk to desk and back :( Slightly shabby in some spots - clean, but not maintained (broken paneling in one area; non-working electrical outlets in room, etc.)
Area that was familiar to us. Out of the crowds and far from downtown. Very reasonable shopping and dining areas. Can drive anywhere. Staff was terrific and helpful.
Although at one time this hotel was The Place to Stay in, is has become outdated, and passe. Some of the plumbing could have used updating and/or replacement.
We recently stayed at this hotel and loved how comfortable and clean our room was. The staff were exceptionally professional and helpful. We would definitely stay here on our next visit.
In the last three years I've always been here.
Position is good, just outside Montreal downtown.
Driving from here you can reach any place in Montreal quite quickly.

We liked the hotel , pool and restaurant; the hotel pool was nice and convenient specially when you travel with kids ; best 'creme caramel' and tiramisu !!! ; staff helpful and professional. We recommend this hotel when you don 't find another one more central.

Breakfast was not included in the package which is a negative point.
Misinformed about when the pool was to be opened in the morning and all of the staff gave different answers. It was a little frustrating. Our stay was ok but would not return and not top of my list to recommend
We booked this trip blindly, but anticipating the cleanliness and atmosphere of a 3.5 star hotel.
