We had an absolutly amazing time at this hotel. Our room was very clean and beautiful with a great view overlooking Rue St-Jean. We hope to return to Quebec soon and wouldn't stay anywhere other than this hotel.
Well-located hotel. Charming man checked us in. Room was very large, received an upgrade without asking. Buffet breakfast ample and fresh. Very nice staff in dining room. One of the few indoor heated pools with lifeguard. Good sauna. Small gym. All in all, very good choice and value.
We stayed for 3 nights with our 3 year old daughter and had a wonderful time. Everyone at the hotel was so nice and helpful (even carrying our stroller down the stairs for us). The pool in the basement was a great treat for our daughter, especially since there were several other kids swimming too. The location was just perfect- right inside the walled city and steps from restaurants & shops. In... more
We caught the train from Montreal and made the walk up the hill from the train station. I was travelling with my 66 year old mother and with a few stops, she made it up the hill. Our room overlooked cafe Paillard on rue Saint-Jean. The room was a generous size and appeared to have been recently renovated. The hotel... more
I recently traveled here with my 3 teenage daughters and we had a great time! The rooms are big (ask for the newly renovated rooms) and the staff is very very friendly and helpful. There are many great restaurants close to the hotel - don't waste your time or money eating at the hotel when there are so many other... more
Very friendly and helpful to out-of-town travelers, this hotel is situated in perfect placement on the cobblestone streets of Old Quebec. Near lots of great restaurants and walking distance to the Convention center. Also, if you are looking for top restaurants away from the tourist areas - you can walk about 15 min both downtown (downhill) or further west on... more
For the last 2 years we spend 2 nights and 3 days there. We drove to Mont-Ste-Anne to ski for a day than come back to hotel, swim in a pool, warm up in sauna, walk to a restaurant and have dinner there.
I saw some negative reviews of this hotel so I had to just say that we thought it was great. The room was huge with a living room space separate from the bedroom. Mind you, we were in a tour group and bought the package tour, so I can't speak to the value of its pricing. The elevators took a... more
We stayed in this hotel for the weekend with our 2 kids. The location is right in the middle of the old city and centrally located to the sites. We were able to walk around in the cold weather but it was close enough to almost all the main areas that we didn't have to wander far in the cold.... more
I had a good night sleep in a modern room. The location is optimal for my business meetings in the setting of Old Quebec City. The compromise here is a great location but in a Manoir of average quality. Their free HS WiFi was soo slow I had to use my Turbo key. It was my first time there and... more
Our family of four stayed in a large room with two queen beds for four nights. The room was clean and well kept and large for an older hotel. The location is perfect for exploring the old city on foot and it is a 15 minute walk to the Chateau Frontenac. There is also indoor Parking which can accommodate an... more
If you are interested in vacationing in Quebec City with your family, you will find that staying at a hotel that is centrally located (meaning within the walls of Old Quebec City – “Vieux Québec”) is very helpful. You can then walk to see the sights and avoid the hassle of looking for parking.
We find the Hotel Manoir Victoria...

This is an older hotel perfectly situated in the Old Quebec. The refurbishments have kept pace with the times, maintaining an excellent balance between old & new. Like being in a grand hotel from 50 years ago but with a nice salt water pool , massage & workout room. It is a 10 min walk to the St Lawrence River... more
We noticed this hotel on our visit last year and decided to try it this time around. Not only is this hotel tasteful, clean, and nicely decorated, it had everything that we could have needed for our three-day stay (including a spa, heated pool and an ipod/iphone doc), AND it is in a perfect location for walking to restaurants, shopping, etc. The staff is polite, cheerful, helpful, and eager to... more
On arrival we did not get the room we reserved (2 double beds/king size). On the first night we had to sleep in a very small room with one double bed, and a noisy air conditioner. The rest of the stay was very comfortable.
An enjoyable hotel, perfect location, good meals, pleasant staff. Surrounded by good restaurants, stores, interesting streets.
We purchased a package through Orbitz for a vacation trip to Quebec City, Quebec to attend the Festival d'Ete Quebec, an annual music festival. This was a particularly important trip for my wife and me, as it was a long-overdue celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary and also a celebration of my successful passage through a dangerous and potentially life-threatening surgical procedure.The... more
The Manoir Victoria was nice, there are no specific complaints I have, but it was a bit pricey for what you get. I understand the math (location x demand = price) but when compared to other hotels we've stayed in, particularly Nelligan in Old Montreal (almost half the price) it's a 3 star experience at best. The staff was great, we had an issue with our key that was resolved courteously and... more
Great location. Within a brief walk of all the major attractions and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff for non-French-speaking guests such as we were.
Chose this hotel by reading others' review. Not cheap for a budget traveler. However, staff were friendly. Parking is $20+tax per day with free entry. The room is spacious, beds are comfortable, bathroom is not high-end but clean. Steps to the Notre-Dame, shops and restaurants.
After we climbed the steep flight of stairs to the lobby, everything was pretty wonderful. The room was clean and luxurious and the staff friendly and down-to-earth, as well as very helpful recommending restaurants outside the tourist area. Location was ideal in the old city, and the best boulangerie was right across the street. Did not sample the hotel's restaurants because all our breakfasts... more
This was a return trip for our family to Quebec City and we prefer a smaller, well located hotel, which Manoir Victora is, as it is footsteps to area attractions, restaurants, stores, etc. Our room was a good size for three of us (2 dbl beds) and the bathroom was very nice, with double sinks, a shower and jacuzzi. There is a restaurant in the hotel (which we didn't use) and a pool, fitness... more
very pleasant bilingual staff, had lots of fun in the pool. the hotel arranged for a historical bus tour. best stay at this hotel
Room was clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Central location was a huge bonus.
Esxcellent location! The staff is excellent and helpful. The only drawback is breakfast - a la carte is on the expensive side and the Continental/American breakfast is mediocre.
Great hotel, the hotel and room were very nice, and the service was excellent. The location was perfect as well, only a few minutes walk from the center of the old city, and right in the middle of a bunch of good restaurants.
Our first trip to the Old City in Quebec. Like a foreign country within driving distance of New England. The French language, french cooking, and french ambiance made it all very romantic and pleasant. The prices for everything were very affordable. Can't wait to go again.
Located in the heart of Ville-Quebec, Le Manior Victoria is upscale with friendly service. The beds are awesome cozy and the rooms are well appointed. After a long day of wonderful walking the hot hot showers are relaxing and reinvigorating. We enjoyed the exercise room but were too busy for the pool or the spa.Mini bar refrigerator in our room allowed for personal choices from the local deli... more
After traveling across Canada and staying in all varieties of hotel, the huge and beautiful room I had at the Manoir Victoria was a welcome sight. The location is excellent for both exploring the old city as well as being convenient for accessing the newer areas like the hip Nuovo St. Roch neighborhood. If you're coming to Quebec City by rail, it's probably the closest hotel to the train station... more
The Hotel Manior Victoria is in the middle of Quebec's Old Historic town. You can litterally walk around the town and see shops, historic buildings, statues, floral landscapes, and cobbled streets. It's like being in Europe(especially since they mostly speak French). However, you don't need to know how to speak french to get around. Most Quebecois are bi-lingual and can speak English as well.... more
The view from our room wasn't great, but the hotel was in the heart of Old Quebec City within walking distance of everything. Service was spectacular, the valets were AMAZING, and I will seek out this hotel again next time I travel to Quebec City.
hotel tres bien situé on peut tout faire a piedil y a un voiturier ce qui ai tres agréable tout le personnel est vraiment tres avenant avec la clientelleet pret à rendre serviceje recomande fortement cet hotelje donnerais une note de 10/10
Great location for walking in old town Quebec and easy to drive out of town to beautiful national parks. Service was fantastic.
Sight seeing, wonderful food. Perfect location
lovely appointments, friendly and helpful staff, spacious room with a great, hard bed, quiet but in a great location in Old Quebec City. Would recommend to everyone
Great location and excellent accommodations. I am fussy and I was very pleased overall. Would defintely stay there again.
Everything was exceptional. Location in the heart of the historic/tourist area.
When we checked into the hotel, we were greeted by [...] who was exceptional! [...]was our key to everything going on in the city (it was festival week) and gave us all the information we needed for free entertainment. We met another family from the US during the trip who were staying in a different hotel and their concierge didn't provide them a map or even tell them that it was festival... more
Great service, room was upgraded when we arrived. Nice valet parking service for $20 a night. Unbeatable location. Right in the heart of Old Quebec but away from the hustle and bustle. HIGHLY RECOMMMENDED!
great location . did not disclose parking fee $20 a day.
Very convenient location. Boutique style hotel, excellent dining room. Within walking distance of everything in Old Town. Friendly, helpful staff. Has 90% of what a big hotel offers at half the price. I'd go back in a minute.
Trouble free almost as if the staff knew our intentions before we did. Very convenient location.
What a great hotel, especially for the money. Very, very comfortable, attractive decor, very nice dining room, great area in the old city. Staff were helpful and courteous. This hotel helped make our trip a great one. I will stay there whenever in Quebec, and have recommended it to friends.
This is most likely the best overall experience of my travels, ever! The hotel is beautiful and is located within the walls of the old Quebec City. Just out the door are many restaurants, boutiques, and historic areas. One example - the hotel is located a just half a block from the Hotel Dieu - the first hospital in North America, built in 1649. The staff are bilingual - but more than willing... more
If you can't afford Europe, visit Quebec City for a trip of a lifetime! The quaint restaurants were of excellent value and quality, the boutiques were incredible and extremely stylish, the architecture and history were breathtaking, the people hospitable and courteous. I can't wait to return-forget Paris!
Won't find a better location for Old Quebec. Picture of the pool on the website is misleading, very small pool, no hot tub. Old world charm all the way and the staff were all very friendly (but we were out 90% of the time).
Reasonable price for the location. Friendly city and hotel. Great pool, work out room, and spa. Skip breakfast, but, other meals OK. Great food elsewhere. Quick taxi service to/from airport. Great bed in a small, clean, quaint room with a view. Can not wait to go back to Quebec! A safe, friendly tourist ready city with lots of history, art, and friendly people. Little need for cash. Some credit... more
Excellent attentive service from valet parking to front desk staff to wait service. Central location for walking everywhere.
We picked this hotel based on other travel reviews on this website and others. We thoroughly loved it - the location in Old Quebec City was superb and the staff was incredibly friendly. There are a lot of good restaurants in the surrounding area (although we recommend skipping the Pub St. Alexandre). You are also within a very scenic walk of the Chateau and the Petit Champlain. There's also... more
Was on a business trip to Quebec City with a day to myself. Chose Hotel Manoir Victoria for the Spa and its central location in old Quebec City. The room was charming, bed very comfortable, bathroom updated. Best part was the Spa. Had a great massage. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was great--in the heart of Old Quebec City. Too bad I was caught in the middle of snowstorm with high... more
The draconian anti-smoking policy, and threatened $CAN250 fine is a turnoff.
Walls are thin, but acceptable. The location cannot be beat!! The only better location would be the Frontenac, which will be at least twice as much $$. Avoid the restaurants in the hotel, the area had enough to try some place different for every meal (and the hotel bistro was similar to Applebee's)
The hotel is GORGEOUS and the staff was so super friendly and helpful. I was very happy that we received a free upgrade to our room. The downside was that the room had pretty thin windows which were a little drafty and there was a lot of street noise until very late on Saturday night. We also thought we may have been above the dining room as we heard some noise early Sunday morning. Sunday... more
Hotel Manoir Victoria was in a great location. You were right in the heart of it all within easy walking distance to the lower city and the upper. Shops were just around the corner and was a great base to explore the city from.Rooms were really clean, quiet and comfortable. Not super stylish (bit of a 90s feel), but we didn't spend much time in the room anyway. Reasonably priced. Nothing to... more
perfect location for touring quebec. everything is within a short walking distance. excellent staff. good price
Manoir Victoria - Old Quebec City, Canada. Excellent location with a very clean room, very nice pool and ordinary fitness center. Some of the front desk staff very friendly, other not very customer oriented (specially with kids) . I'm not sure if I would stay again.
The Manoir is in a great location - central to everything in the old city. The rooms very roomy, clean and well maintained. One of the strongest features is the staff who were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying there and certainly would do so again when in Quebec.
Our stay was during Winter Carnival when the hotel was at capacity, but the staff remainded calm, friendly and courteous. The room was as requested with 2 queen beds, looked recently updated, clean and more 'plush' than expected. Didn't have much of a view from the 1st floor, but that wasn't all that important to us. Great pool in the basement for the kids - locker rooms were clean and... more

Perfect location. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. For some reason the staff at the the desk did not find my reservation immediately so they upgraded my room at no extra charge. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Did not try the restuarant for dinner, but others staying there said it...
