Clean, good enough hotel

Our room was clean, but the rest didn't wow me. The bed was comfortable enough. Great location in relationship to bars and Mont Royal. Half a block away from the metro, with easy access to Old Montreal. The staff was pretty stiff and not too happy about helping a stupid american stumble through his french.

Full price is a bit out of our range. We stayed there because we got a good deal. Convenient for Montreal Museum for Fine Arts. Parking is expensive ($23), and you don't get that info until after you have booked. Our room was a kind of mini suite with a tiny kitchen. Room was quiet, even though next to elevator. Great Staff!

Hotel was clean and well kept, also had a sweet old touch to it with actual keys to open the doors. Staff was extremely helpful and efficient. Rooms were nice and big! Would definitely recommend!

Okay Hotel in Prime downtown area.

Hotel was okay. For $140 per night though you would expect a simple free breakfast and free access to wifi. Even to use wifi in the business center would cost you ten dollars. Location accessible to transportation and shopping

Excellent, memorable and the best. If given a chance I would love to come back and stay longer. There's so many historical places to see. It's amazing!

Just ok

I came in from Toronto, and drove in with a rental from the airport. There was no proper valet at the front of the hotel, or even someone to direct us to the back where the actual valet is. Great location, reasonable price

The only negative thing I have to say is there was a ceramic tray holding shampoo etc. on a shelf behind the toilet. The shelf was slanting forward and even though we didn't knock it, the tray slipped to the floor and broke. I understand the bathrooms are being renovated so that is a good thing. Outdated facilities... Room Key's are actual physical keys, no free Wi-Fi, no free Local calls, TV quality and resolution below par (images were blurry). Did not accommodate request for day bed despite request being made at time of booking.

good location and helpful staff

it was okay for a few nights stay, staff were helpful and friendly, bed very comfortable but washroom in desperate need for update. Tub clogged up and would not drain, not that clean as well. if washroom was updated and cleaner it would have been much better and I would probably recommend.

Decent location

The hotel is in a good location, would allows you easy access to all the wonders of the city. Facilities could be better but it's value for money for travellers or a family with a child.

Nice Hotel, close to everything

Decent but not great

Location is right downtown, but the hotel is in pretty haggard shape. The hot water was only warm. One elevator was broken, there was no bathroom fan. Comfy beds and clean though.

The hotel is located in downtown so it's in close proximity to many restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is a nice stay overall. We upgraded to an executive suite with a little more space. Beautiful room, amazingly comfortable bed, superb water pressure, bonus kitchenette. Looking forward to another visit!

Good quality for the price

Would go back only if there are still special prices. Nice updates to rooms, comfy beds and quilts. Bathroom is a little dated but clean. Little european kitchen, super handy when you have yound kids. Very well situated. The only bad comment is We found a used coffee filter in machine... Large rooms with all comfort, sofa, kitchen.

It was a pleasure to stay there and have breakfast in our suite with friends staying at the same hotel but the staff did not enough explain about the parking conditions. I said where we parked, very close to the hotel, and the guy did not say it was forbidden to stay in the early morning... then we got a fine... He should have been prevenant enough and inform us.

Disappointed

Hotel Room was not ready upon arrival, check in was to be at 4:00. Room Service never came to clean our room on our second day.

Hotel staff was very accommodating, so was staff in breakfast room and bar. Rooms were pleasant and quiet. An additional pleasant feature was the small kitchen, fully supplied. Did not use it very much this time, but will during future visits. Can well recommend the facilities to others and will certainly do so. We have stayed at this hotel several times when visiting our daughter at McGill. Nice hotel in downtown Montreal

We rented the suite, which had. 2 queen beds and a queen pull out sofa. The beds were extremely comfortable. We especially liked the kitchettenette, which included a fridge/freezer, stove top and oven, as well as a microwave. The location is fantastic and the staff were very helpful and professional. Very conveniently located.

The hotel is quite old, but well kept. The double room was very clean and had comfortable beds. I stayed in Montreal for one week, and found this hotel to be well situated. The staff was exceptionally helpful to me at the front desk. I have stayed at this hotel previously and will again.
