Fair price, fair service

The hotel upon looking at it is not fancy but it is suitible. At first the location in the ally was a bit concerning but I soon realized that it was safe and close to everything in downtown Montreal. It was close to major attractions and popular tourist destination. All in all I could pretty much walk anywhere from the hotel. The deal I got justified the service and was good for the money spent.

Nice hotel close to Circuit Gilles Villeneuve

Nice hotel but located in a run down area. I was in town for the F.1 race and the hotel is conveniently located next to one of the metro stops on the way to the track. All in all, it was 2 metro stops and 4 minutes away from the circuit which was convenient.

Well worth the money

I parked my vehicle out front of hotel and my window was smashed in and luggages stolen.The hotel did not havet room type as per my reservation. I was offered a smoking room, then a very dirty and smelly room, then I was offered a queen room that had a very strong odour of freshly burnt marihuana.

Just a few minute walk from downtown Montreal, the Econo Lodge is a great value for travelers who are searching for a deal. The rooms are relatively spacious and the service was quite attentive. This was the worst hotel in all of montreal...the beds were not comfortable. It smelled like rotten old socks. The bathroom look as if it had mold beginning to form on the sink and in the bathtub/shower area. The toilet wasn't completely fastened to the ground.
