Beautifully renovated. Bed & Breakfast feel. Very close to a fun part of town
We were only able to stay one night. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast provided.
Been here many times, but the hotel was not good enough to keep me if better deals come up.
We regularly say at Chateau Versailles when in Montreal. It never fails to please us. Comfortable rooms, delightful staff, excellent breakfast and great location.
exceptional location, and value.... very good breakfast included
It's worth the discounted price that I paid for the room that I got. Nice location and easy to get to where you want to be. Staffs are helpful. It would be nicer if the cleaness of the washroom can be improved.
Perfect. Nothing but compliments for staff. Rooms are large. Internet worked well. Breakfast relaxing, convenient, complete. Very willing to please.
Rooms are spacious. Nice marble bathroom. Enjoyed the terry cloth robe. Quiet. Delicious buffet breakfast. Really like the decor of the hotel. You feel like you are in France!
This hotel is in an stylish stone row of buildings and is located near Montreal's busy downtown area. It is also close to Mount Royal and you can stroll through the beautiful park with amazing views of the city. Our room on the upper floor was clean and nicely appointed accept for a small spot on the wall where the paint had started to chip. We were missing some towels and facecloths on our... plus
This is an excellent hotel to stay. The price was excellent for the room, and the people were extra friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to lots of shopping in downtown Montreal with easy access to sites. I recommend highly for anyone who is looking for a very comfortable and nice stay. I know I will return to the Chateau next time I visit Montreal.
We really enjoyed our stay at Chateau Versailles. Highlights:1. Delicious breakfast - fresh fruit, croissants, hard-boiled eggs, yummy cheeses and more. 2. Great location in upscale, quiet neighborhood; within walking distance to many nice museums and restaurants.3. Super comfortable bed, large room, and lots of nice personal touches (nightly turn down service, fresh towels throughout the... plus
Although, internet was not working at the time
great breakfast buffet, delicious coffe and attentive service. guest service agents were more than willing to help out clueless tourists...had a miss communication about my laundry but was quickly resolved.....good for couples or families
We were impressed by the large room and elegant decor, and comfortable furnishings. The complimentary breakfast, which included a cold quiche, several cheeses, breads, pastries, cereals, and hot and cold beverages of all kinds, was excellent. The only minuses was a pesky problem with the TV remote and somewhat limited drawer space. The location is excellent, adjacent to a metro stop and also... plus
Although the Chateau Versailles was lovely in many respects and had good character, I was disappointed that we were put into a small, dark room at the back of the hotel. It looked nothing like the pictures that we had seen online which represent the rooms at the front of the hotel and are both brighter and larger. I would only recommend this hotel if you can guarantee to get a good room -... plus
Great for a romantic get away. Good breakfast. I would not recommend this place for families since I'd like to stay here again. Bronte restaurant across the street makes the food for this hotel.
A very good value and we would certainly receommend it. The beautiful music in the breakfast area, the delicious breakfast and ther friendliness of the staff all were great! The hotel exceeded out expectations.
When I visited Montreal with a group of college friends, Chateau Versailles was our crash pad. Wait, "crash pad" makes it sound like a cheapo hostel for 18-year-old American college kids who go to Quebec to [legally] drink.Well, part of that is true! But the part about it being a cheapo hostel is not.Chateau Versailles is a beautiful boutique hotel with tasteful French-inspired decor... plus
There weren't great views but the hotel front is inviting and the interior was nice with a refined air, clean and well-kept. The floor was creaky in spots in our room but the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The staff stood out and made the hotel exceptional--they were simply amazing. The were helpful in finding good restaurants and booking reservations for us. They were also... plus
The room was a bit small but very clean. I liked the decor, and I'm in interior design (except for the shower curtain which seemed not as elegant as the rest of the room). They could put a bit of color in the form of flowers in the courtyard and spruce that up a bit. The front desk and bellman were very good. The breakfast service was running a bit behind (out of some food, dishes not... plus
Very comfortable. All the staff we met were extremely helpful. Good value.
Everything was wonderful except for the parking, but you can pretty much expect that about anywhere you stay in the city if the hotel doesn't contain its' own parking garage.

Unique among downtown Montreal hotels, this gracious circa 1919 Edwardian structure was originally a four-story mansion.
