Bienvenue chez nous !
Première entreprise francoresponsable des Amériques, l'Hôtel Château Laurier Québec offre 289 chambres chaleureuses au cœur des événements du Vieux-Québec.
Four stars hotel that offers 289 cozy rooms in the heart of Old Quebec. The Hotel Château Laurier…truly the premier event site in Old Quebec.
The room was small, smelly, dirty and with outdated bathroom with trace of moisture on the sealing. No fridge in the room!!!. This "4" stars Hotel can be ranked (at least for the room that I've got) as cheap motel. Positive notes the position: in the heart of the city. Service mediocre, mostly for concept of Automated services as: Vine, Coffee, Soft drink (full bar) all automated.. weak.
Superbe hôtel qui tient ses promesses! Chambres spacieuses...
We had a very good time at this hotel. The room was a bit small however the bed was quite comfortable. The outdoor hot tubs were clean and very fun, along with the indoor pool. The staff was very attentive and polite. The location of this hotel was perfect, a short distance to old quebec and right in the middle of the Carnaval.
In this hotel the service was wonderful, but our European Room left a lot to be desired. There was no Wifi, the TV was small and had a poor picture. The room was small with minimal extra space for luggage and other supplies. We kept shifting things from one area to another and had trouble remaining organized. One side of the bed had no bedside table, as there wasn't room. The bathroom was... more
Room window had a view of the entertainment stip on Grande Allée. The hotel was 2 steps away from old Québec.
My wife and I come here every summer since 2008. Our room was on the corner of the Main Strip(where the action happens). The room was half the size of a normal hotel room but that is how it is in Europe and this part of Canada is like Europe, that's why we come here. Older bathroom but everything works. Carpet did need vacuuming but I read that about this hotel before I chose to stay here.... more
This place was great! Staff was friendly. Hotel room very clean. It was extremely comfortable and BEST OF ALL...it is in such a beautiful location. Quebec City is gorgeous and so was this hotel. If you are looking for a nice, clean, friendly place to stay with A GREAT LOCATION...Stay at Hotel Chateau Laurier Quebec!
Reserved a room for two with a queen bed. Got a room with two doubles, and were told that the hotel was full, but the good news was that we "would not be charged extra for the bigger room." I couldn't tell if there was some sarcasm I was missing. The room was fine. Not impressive, not dirty or bad. View was equally unimpressive - of a snow-filled courtyard.Check-out time is noon. We thought that... more
We had a wonderful stay at the Hôtel Château Laurier in August, during the Military Tattoo. I was surprised-the hotel is more American than European (in a good way.) The rooms are very nice, the beds comfortable. Breakfast can get very crowded, so go early so you can find a place to sit. There is also a conjoining bar without patio seating when the weather's nice.We were very lucky having a... more
Very friendly staff willing to speak English and make the stay enjoyable. The location was perfect for the walled city and the Festival d'été de Québec. The rooms were clean and quiet, especially considering all the commotion going on outside.
Friendly concierge! She arranged for a countryside tour, a taxi to the airport and gave me good, current information about events happening while I was there.Hotel is close to everything - and the Summer Festival concert stages were within a block or two. I could walk everywhere I wanted to go.Would use it next time I travel to Quebec City.
The Hotel is cosy and nice. The staff was very frendly. If you need a great breakfast I would recommend the restaurant "Cosmos" about 300 m west of Hotel on a Grande Allee. Avoid to go for a breakfast to the tourist zone in a Upper Town - very busy and expensive. As a drawback I would mention very small rooms. But if you are not staying a lot of time in a Hotel - it's not a big deal. Another... more
The staff were very friendly and helpful. They cordially tolerated my attempts to speak French, but were all quite proficient in English. Every request was acted on immediately. This made a big difference in the quality of our experience. The service was better than nearly every other hotel I've ever stayed in.We asked to change our room upon arrival, which they did right away. (The room... more
Stayed for 2 nights with my family in March 2008. The staff is very nice. Has a good swimming pool and sauna. The shower/bathtub is very good. Very well located. The room is very small and the heating system is too noise. It seems they have new rooms, but I stayed on the "old" ones, which I don't recommend.
We were very satisfied with this hotel, especially after the one we stayed at in Montreal for about the same price. The location was fantastic-close to the Citadel and the main tourist attractions of Quebec, including Chateau Frontenac and lower Quebec. The staff was very friendly and helped me w/ directions to my next destination. When I came through Quebec again on my way to Jacques... more
Because of their expansion, finding yourself around the hotel is a little daunting, esp. trying to find your car. Parking costs with taxes is expensive. Everything is heavily taxed.
