Blackfoot Inn is AWESOME

All I can say is AWESOME. The Blackfoot Inn is a great hotel for those looking for a venue to host an event or use their meeting rooms for seminars. They offer free Internet throughout the hotel, the staff is amazing and the restaurant offers great food at a good value. The Blackfoot Inn has free parking and lots of access to major freeways.

Horrible room service meal, and poor management response

REALLY, REALLY BAD ROOM SERVICE MEAL... I ordered a 10oz roast prime rib of beef with Yorkshire pudding. I spent the better part of five minutes cutting and prying into it, trying to find any actual beef to eat. “Great Stay

Hotel was excellent. The only knock on it was that it was a ways from the train service so you had to drive everywhere. Other than that it was excellent.

We enjoyed our one night stay in the hotel. We were very comfortable there. When we requested a room on a higher floor we were quickly accomodated with a friendly smile. The view of the Rockies was great as was the view of downtown Calgary (about 6 miles away).

Attentive, friendly staff. Clean, well kept property. Comfortable accommodations. Not in a glamorous location, yet well located with close/easy access to major east-west and north-south routes.

Yes, the only complaint I have is the full breakfast is in fact a buffet breakfast and not full and not not very good. Only scrambled eggs and no toast. If you wanted toast or other types of cooked eggs they will charge you. Lousy breakfast buffet. The room was comfortable and clean and the front desk service was excellent.

Three stars, not quite.

Although the location is not the best, this hotel has some potential. Rooms are clean and decent size and the adjacent amenities are quite good. However, our stay was marred by stoic front desk staff, hot room where the thermostat can only be used to raise the temperature , noisy elevator was too close to the room and shameful extra charges. Nice Hotel, Lousy Location

I stayed at The Blackfoot Inn because that's where my company put me. It is near our office, in a very industrial area. There is NOTHING around (within walking distance), so if you don't have a car, you're basically stuck at the hotel. There is a mall, the Chinook Centre, about 1-2 miles away. Never Again

Even the non-smoking rooms smell of cigarettes. For this price I would rather stay at a Holiday Inn.

Great place, Great people and Great Service!

Rolled in to Calgary at 6pm and found that all hotels were booked. After 4 hours with 2 sleepy toddlers we phoned Blackfoot Inn. With only one room left they were kind enough to hold it for us until we arrived. The hotel was beautiful, the restaurant was open late and the room was terrific with a mountain view.
