classy and impressive

this is a very classy and chic hotel, for the rooms and the other amenities as well. they host many parties here, and my employer had a party here once that was mind-blowing. it apparently didn't cost a lot either!

Since it opened in 2006, Hotel Arts, a complete makeover of a grotty old hotel with a punk rock club on the main floor, has become one of the city's see-and-be-seen destinations. Raw Bar, the hotel's lounge, is a cocktail hotspot and a popular sushi bar, while Saint Germain, its dining room, is one of the top-rated fine-dining experiences in the city. Keep your eyes peeled for one or two of the... more

Husband and I absolutely loved working with Brian Brownlee at Hotel Arts - in fact everyone from the GM to the Valet staff were amazing to work with. Brian was an absolute dream (our initial wedding venue went out of business) but Brian gave us assurance that a month and a half was an easy timeline to plan a whole new wedding - forget those crazy people who do this a year in advance. Pros: Staff are very good and well trained, room was nice but bath/shower hard to get in and out of you have mobility concerns, the small put adequate breakfast buffet was very nice. The pictures looked amazing! When we walked into Hotel Arts we were not disappointed. Very modern, beautiful art, trendy bars/restaurant and great location for downtown Calgary.
