There's no other way I could desribe it. Perhaps POSITIVELY SUPERB would suffice.

Hot Stacks is one of the best things to happen to Cookstown. From the service to the food it is well worth the visit. Portions sizes are more than enough and we always seem to leave with a doggie bag. Well worth the money and the price is extremely reasonable for the amount of food you get.

Took the family there to meet a friend today.
Got there ate 7:45 am.........a few people there....we were eating by about 8:10.
2 eggs over easy, 4 playing card sized pieces of peameal bacon, about a cup of home fries, and 2 slices of toast for $6.99.
Also comes with a yogurt cup sized portion of assorted fruit.

Wear loose pants....huge servings
July 19, 2013Absolutely love this place. You can have a bit of a wait on the weekends but its worth it. Have never seen such a selection of breakfast foods and portion sizes. Large family atmosphere. Nothing fancy but great food and wonderful staff. Very accommodating to families with children. Try the banana bread French toast...yummy!!!!!

We discovered this place a few years ago from a small sign on the highway. We enjoyed it so much, that we've been back several times: whenever we're driving through Cookstown. We just visited again this past weekend. It's definitely still one of our favourites!
