Fresh and Tasty
March 22, 2012We get take out from here on a regular basis as the quality of the sushi very good. We've also had the tepanyaki and enjoy the miso soup.

Simply Amazing!
November 30, 2011My wife and I visited this location with skepticism simply because there aren't any real good sushi places around anymore or they're really hard to find. Honba is one of those places, where the fish is fresh and the maki are to die for. November 13, 2011The sushi and sashimi are so fresh! But my favorite are the rolls ! So good! The way they make their spicy salmon is incomparable. I love also the service of the waits and waitresses. They are so kind and cheery when they greet you and also when they say goodbye The food is amazing. Please if you got time. Check it out. 10/10 !!

Food is great but service is TERRIBLE!
September 14, 2011Honba has a variety of dishes that don't come by other Sushi restaurants, which makes it unique in it's own way, but food is only one part of the dining experience. May 07, 2011The most overpriced sushi I have ever had - especially with the average quality of food they serve. The service is also slow and the waiters are rarely smiling. It should not cost $30+ per person to have a few rolls of sushi.

December 31, 2010Nice restaurant n nice decor. Food not bad either. Only the waitress/waiter not in good "serve-mode". Looks like u own them money. Once you paid the bill, they will not say "bye". I guess they got what they want (money), so they don't care anything about you.

This place is OK...
December 04, 2010Never been here although I work nearby and thought I would try this place. Had an hour for lunch so I needed something real quick. Unfortunately, it took for long for my sushi to come that I almost couldn't get back on time. The food is ok. A little bit disappointed.

August 31, 2009This restaurant is relatively new, and is located were the old Purple Pig used to be. From this outside this place is a little deceiving, because inside are lots of tables.
