Just returned from a family graduation at the University of Windsor. Stayed at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites. Ok hotel, but not for the price

The price was much too high for being outside of the city. The sole reason we picked the hotel was because it had a hot tub near the pool, something the other hotels didn't have. However, the hot tub wasn't working, and the price of our room was not adjusted. So we paid ~160 for a room outside of downtown (where we spent most of the evening).Barring that, the hotel was nice. I thought the exterior of the hotel was nice and the inside was as well. The decor was a lil mixmatched but that did not bother us. The beds were comfortable and we were very happy that we had free internet at this hotel. There were 2 restaurants on site, which we did not go to but it was nice to know it was there. They also had a fitness center and a pool.

Air condition was intermittent & noisy. It automatically switched off as the room gets cool & then on again when it becomes warmer. It was a bit uncomfortable for the kids.

I feel at home there as I have stayed there numerous times over many years when I was working. There is no breakfast included which is surprising to me as nearly all other hotels I stay at have breakfast included.

Friendly and comfortable. Front desk and restaurant in particular.

We booked this hotel for the purpose of being able to enjoy and lounge around the pool for the afternoon. However the pool was freezing cold and the hot tub was just as cold a the pool. We also reserved a cot in our booking and never Received one. Would never stay there again.

Noise of young people. Value for the money. Insufficient coffee and cream for a decent cup of coffee for 2 people.

We had a great experience at this hotel. We were traveling with 2 small children (ages 3 and 21 months) so we inquired about a suite which we were upgraded to at a very low cost. “Beside the bug that was found in the bed; this was a good hotel to stay at. The pool needs to be drained and power washed because the pool is supposed to be white; but it is stained a light brown; possibly from hard water.”

Excellent stay

Even though there is renovations going on, the hotel was very clean and quiet. The only noise was a large amount of young people staying there for a baseball tournament. I wasn't as disrupted as my sister was across the hall from me but her room was at the elevator and there was some loud talking in the hall way at a very early hour. Excellent place to stay

The hotel was first rate and the staff I encountered were friendly and efficient..

Didn't stay at the hotel, but ate at the 24 hour restaurant that is attached to it. Don't know what time it was, but the food hit the spot. I had a chicken club sandwich I think with fries. Sandwich was pretty good from what I remember. Have no idea about prices. I actually don't recall who paid the bill. I do remember we were the only ones in the place though.

Great Hotel -- but uncomfortable room

The Holiday Inn Select Windsor was a very nice hotel. They made arrangements for our late check-in and early check-out. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The only complaint was the temperature of the room. It was very cold outside, but we couldn't seem to turn off the heat, which made the room very, very warm.

Great hotel at a good value.

We loved the spacious room and found the bed to be extremely comfortable. The pub and restaurant were warm and welcoming and the staff was friendly. The desk staff was also especially friendly and helpful. We will definitely consider this hotel again when we return to Windsor.
