On your TV listing was a listing for FOX. However CTV came up in it's place. That was OK until I saw a listing for some mundane networks such as MSNBC. Polls in the US show it so low that I am surprised it is still in operation, yet for some reason, Holiday Inn gives me that channel to watch and not FOX, which has numerous highest ratings (Bill O'Reilly for example). Not up to Holiday Inn standars

The hotel staff was super nice and professional. However, the room was dated and dirty (especially the bathroom and the carpet). I was also in a room on the same floor as the restaurant bar - which didn't seem safe or sanitary (considering the state of the room I definitely didn't want to eat in the restaurant). It is also not very close to the airport.

Huge improvement

We stayed here three years ago and we were not very happy with the condition of the hotel but now it is transformed. The hotel is spotless and the service is excellent. The restaurant is very good with reasonable prices.

We ordered 2 rooms with 2 Queens in each. At our arrival, the receptionist argued that one of the rooms has only one queen in our order. She must be knowing of our order. Positive: The shuttle driver was helpful and friendly. The airport shuttle service was very convenient. Constructive criticism: Most noticeable is the smell of chlorine from the pool - it pervades the lobby and the corridors. It is quite overpowering.

Hoiliday Inn Airport

Overall good would stay again. Desk staff need to be more engaged and friendly. I asked directions for a restaurant and the girl at the desk was pointing in about 6 different directions and saying the opposite. Confusing.

Average stay

The rooms were clean but dated. The picture are quite deceiving. Some of the staff could have been more friendly. Management needs to stress consistency in guest services!

Excellent location! Because most of the hotels in canmore and banff were fully booked, we stayed here for two nights. Great food selections if you choose with free breakfast. Full breakfast before going to our destination. No slide for kids as seen in the website pictures. Just swimming pool and hot tub. Excellent stay!

It was a good hotel, my kids had a great time

After 5 days of camping it was a welcome change to stay at the HI, we stayed before our trip to Banff and after it and we were happy with the level of service. A minor issue was towels, apparently a lot of people using the pool and they ran out at one point. We found 2 towels in our room and needed 2 more. We had to wait a few hours to get them but in the end we did.

Shoving pay per view down my throat

TV service stinks. No channel guide and excessive advertising of pay per view. Have stayed at Westin, Days Inn, Travel Lodge this year for over 20 days. Probably won't give you repeat business. Obviously a corporate decision.

Typical Major Airport Holiday Inn.

Decent airport hotel. Easy to find, get into and out of, room was clean and fully supplied. Hotel has decent restaurant open for breakfast through supper with a separate lounge. Hotel has nice (but small) indoor pool, which the night we were there was kept WAY too hot (easily 90 degrees).

Disappointing

Room was stuffy and humid. We found black mould in bathroom, desk staff were pleasant and did try to help. The restaurant staff were not at all friendly and poor service. Was extremely disappointed in the hotel, pool was dirty and had no towels. Not a good stay for families.

Nice hotel easy to get to from the north

we found the hotel very nice. The food in the restaurant was very good. The service was excellent. the staff is friendly and happy. The room was clean.

Overall was a Ok stay

We were three adults and a baby.There were no adequate supplies of soaps and lotion.

We were in town for a quick stay to attend a wedding. We did not spend the ultimate time in the hotel for enjoyment of the pool and hot tub. The choice of pillows on the bed were a nice touch.

Misleading location

This 'Calgary Aiport' hotel is nowhere near the airport. Since I had booked it based on the title, this was completely misleading. Otherwise a nice hotel which provided complimentary shuttle to airport, but did not at all suit the purpose of being close to hotel to cut down on commute time, which was 20 minutes from the hotel.

Short stay overnight all good except for shower

A short stay was overall very good except for the shower which alternated hot and cold water every two or three minutes. Otherwise the stay was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Great hotel, bad expirience

The hotel itself was great. Clean rooms, quick staff, great ammenities (pool, hot tub, cable), however, because other guest would check in or check out very early in the morning (6am) the thin walls made sleeping very difficult. Some people even had unattended children running and playing in the hallways.

Stayed one night and left my car for 2 weeks. Hotel is under going renovations. It was still quiet, and clean. Staff were sweet and helpful. Meeting facility excellent

Coming with client we came here at the last minute. The hotel team organized a meeting room with coffee break and meeting requirement in few hours. The lunch and service was also very good. Next time I would most likely stay here as the hotel is very close to the airport and under refurbishment.

The room was quite big, I think, and the hotel was easy to go in. There were a free shuttle service from the airport which you needed to call from the airport to catch you. Everything was nice accept the breakfast; it was humdrum. I have a special diet so it was not easy to find food from there.

Good Stay and helpful staff

My family enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff were helpful and courteous. The pool was nice and the restaurant a pleasant surprise.
I would want the room cleaned a little better. It could have been vacuumed everywhere, not just in the entrance to the room.

We only had the one night so wanted somewhere close to the airport. It was further away than we thought but the free shuttle over-rode any problems on that score. Also we asked for non smoking and our room smelt of smoke but the front desk very promptly changed us to another room when we made them aware of this.

Decent room, good location as it is just off the highway. But, wow, is it hot in there... Hot in the rooms even with the ac turned on all day and night. The fridge even had a hard time keeping cold. The lounge was even hot. Think this ruined the stay. Otherwise, it was a nice hotel.

This is a really good hotel with some of the best service I have experienced. The check in staff were really accommodating even drying our wet clothes after being caught in a storm.

Even though this hotel is under renovation, we had no concerns with staying here. Very helpful , courteous staff and management. Rooms were clean . Apart from some features like being close to airport and free shuttle service and clean rooms, this hotel does not feel worth the money that is charged for the rooms.Hotel restaurant and food is below average and very pricey. And since there are hardly any other places to eat close by, you are stuck with bad / slow service in the sunset grill.

The friendliness of the staff, quite helpful with any inquiries. I would recommend this Holiday Inn to anyone. Should I return to this area, this would certainly be my hotel of choice. Excellent, for sure.

Beds comfortable, choice of firm or soft pillows. Signs said "under
renovation," but it looked like most of the renos were finished and it
certainly spruced up the place. Very easy to find. Lots of parking at
no charge.

That I arrived very late and leave very early so I could not enjoy the hotel amenities :(

I couldn't get a/c to wrk. Called down to front and let it ring for 4 minutes. Nobody picked up. Called 4 more times and still no one picked up. Staff didn't know main roads to help me with directions. Spa and fitness centre closed which was disappointing because that's one of the reasons I booked at this hotel.

Work Travel

The location to the airport was convienient and it was nice having a restaraunt/bar located right in the hotel since I arrived late. I will stay there again.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. A little noisy on the second floor.

Holiday Inn Calgary-Airport

We were able to let half our party drop off the rental car while the rest of us were able to get online and check in for the next days flight. Then had a wonderful dinner at the hotel..played some slots in the lounge..met some nice people then had a very comfortable nights sleep.The room was more than I expected. Wish we would havd checked in earlier, but had to see the ZOO.

How was it?

The hotel was neat, clean, and had all the amenities. I would highly recommend this to any business or pleasure travelers as it's all there.

Good for families

Excellent freindly staff at desk. Construction ongoing on 2nd floor where I stayed. Not enough staff in restuarant. Have to call for a cab. More family oriented than business oriented.

We used this hotel as our night stop before flying out of Calgary. It is a nice hotel, easy to find and very clean. It has a nice restaurant and pool and fitness center. This hotel is called Holiday Inn Calgary Airport, which leads you to think that it is really close to the airport, but it is not. However, the distance is not too bad. The rooms are comfortable, albeit small; the one we stayed in had a very strange placement of the bathroom. Room was very clean though, and the beds are super comfortable. I would stay there again.

stayed for flight out next morning...so it was clean, and all went very well It was noisy due to planes taking off and car traffic, but if the air was on and windows closed ok.

This was a wonderful hotel. It was close to the airport and has a 24 hour airport shuttle.
