There aren't many options for skateboard or BMX shops around Toronto so if you're into those sorts of things and stuck in the city then you're likely to end up here.  I was not particular impressed with the selection or choice of products (very mainstream withing the alt sport community) but it's a sizable store with lots of copies of the same thing over and over.  So if they carry the type of... more

I went to Hogtown to get my Flow bindings, Burton mittens and goggles. The person helping me could not have been more helpful.  I've been to many snowboard shops and always get great service from all of them, but I particularly enjoyed my experience at this store.

Hogtown is best when you've got some time to browse.  Though clothing racks are stuffed full, everything kind of looks the same and not much thought is put into style (especially girl's stuff).  For all I know the shop got some freebee handouts and then sell it at their store, it's one logo tee after the next, not really the kind of shirts I'd pay $40 to wear.  Once in awhile there are good... more

Hogtown is a bit snobby about it's bikes. No hippy joint, it's all about the BMX here. Usually the guys that work in the back are stuck up with me because I'm not a real rider (i.e. not a boy, have all my ribs in tact and I'm not a gear head), but every now and then I get a nice guy who takes pity on me and helps fill my tires, tune me up and tell me where I can get pink accessories for cheap... more
