Wonderful jambalaya

I was very pleased. The jambalaya was wonderful.....spicy but not overbearing. Nice sausage, The portion was large. My partner's quesadilla was also really tasty. And the soup of the day...a smoked salmon/lime/cilantro was wonderful! Great service too.

We saw this place on tv we made a visit! Very much enjoyed what we had with exceptional service. We will definitely be attending again in the near future. We had the spinach pie with homemade fries and even homemade ketchup! Great place highly recommend.

Spot on for breakfast

Sunny day to dine at a local favourite. The staff are friendly and warm, and the place riddled with everything Edmonton and Old Strath. The breakfast starts at 7:30 and the food is value for money and spot on ambiance.

I met friends here for a late lunch. The menu selection was just OK and the salad was good. I was impressed that I was able to secure free parking in their designated parking area behind the Garneau theatre. The place needs to be updated. Last night I and three women friends had dinner at the HIgh Level Diner. Delicious bread pudding

Had a nice time here with a girlfriend for lunch. Burger was good but best part was the bread pudding made out of cinnamon buns and sided with the rum sauce and thickly whipped and chilled cream. Paired with Crabbies Ginger Beer from Scotland. Very good. Parking is horrible though and ended up with a ticket.

Don't drive there

I was eating at the restaurant, and parked in the designated HLD parking stalls and they still gave me a $52 parking ticket.... STAY AWAY

Easily the best restaurant in Edmonton

The worst on or near whyte ave

Best for brunch

Although it is always packed, the food and coffee are worth the wait. The omelettes are awesome and the homemade ketchup is worth buying to take home!

Had lunch with a friend at this restaurant and the turkey burger was delicious! I hear the other items on the menu are very good aswell.

This place is a gem. We saw it on You Gotta Eat Here and put it on our list of places to eat on our trip. They did not disappoint. The food was great! There was a bit of a line up but it was definitely worth the wait.

Watch out

Avoid the "Montreal smoked meat." It's nothing like the real thing. They probably sell some decent food, but it's generally overpriced. They have a great rep in Edmonton, so maybe that's made them complacent.

Highlevel Diner

High Level Diner serves healthy, hearty food from different parts of the world. I ordered a shrimp special that turned out to be too spicy for my tastes even though our waiter said it wasn't spicy, at least as far as he was concerned. I resolved that by exchanging my dish with another selection with a friend at our table. The large portion of french fries were hot, not greasy.

Very good deal for your money. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the meal was served hot, not warm, but hot. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a decent meal at an affordabe price.

Excellent food, great atmosphere, value for money and an all around great tasting meal. Highlevel Diner is on my favorites list, try it out!

in 1997, but when I go back there they still remember me.
The service is fabulous, and the food is, too.
Vegetarians have as much to choose from as carnivores.

My favourites are the spanikopita and the black bean chili.
