The Quality Inn West Harvest is not a cheap hotel it's affordable!
Highlands Kitchen had amazing food. It was very tasteful and tastefully presented. I would definately return and recommend it to everyone I know! It was a great dining experience.
All I can really say is... OHMIGOD - AMAZING! The food (I had the rabbit)was absolutely incredible. I've eaten at many a fine establishment, in Edmonton and abroad, and this is easily in my top 5 best meal experiences. Absolutely delectable!!! Also being very familiar with authentic Ukrainian food, this fusion restaurant did a excellent job of retaining the comfort feel UKN food invokes. I love... more
We enjoyed a great dinner at the Highlands Kitchen. The restaurant is cozy but not cramped and the decor is artsy-interesting. All 4 us liked the Borscht as an appetizer. I had the pork crepe dish which was delicious. Our waiter was outstanding - attentive but subtle. We would definitely go back.
This restaurant offers wholesome well prepared delicious food and every momment of our service was given with a smile. It is lovely to sit on the patio.
I value that the restaurant supports the local food industry and the food is fresh, healthy and great! The service was attentive and laid back - very relaxing.
We have been to this restaurant several times and are never disappointed. The food is fantastic!
Food was incredible ... The atmosphere was quaint. Would highly recommend this restaurant!
Great family-style service on a family-oriented holiday! We brought a young child, someome who needs gluten free foods and some hearty eaters for the Thanksgiving meal: the menu suited us all! Super service, as usual. And, no cleanup afterwards!
The name may have changed but the Highlands Kitchen is every bit as good as the old Culina Millcreek. Great Ukrainian inspired food. We will be back.
The best unique dinner made with the freshest locally sourced ingredients. What more could you ask for? Quaint atmosphere, knowledgeable and friendly staff. The lamb is mouth watering, quinoa salad to die for! The quinoa salad is also available at Mandolin books a few doors down.
Very enjoyable evening. We went in the early evening and watched as the place filled up. Service was well spaced and food quite enjoyable. Some interesting food pairings and tastes.
Had a lovely evening out with my hubby. A chilly Edmonton evening, it was a lovely room to be sitting in - a bit like being in someones front room, but with some very funky decor. I particularly like the metal foliage on one wall.Food - I had borscht to start yummo; main course - Ukranian platter - with lazy cabbage rolls, peroghy and kolbassa. Pudding - pavolva with homemade lemon curd and... more
Culina Highlands is a wonderful little space. The decor is an eclectic mixture ranging from a Ukranian grandmother's parlour trinkets to mdoern paintings and groovy lampshades that wouldn't look out of place in a swanky high-rise condo. The bare tables and chairs add a touch of left-bank bistro. The staff are attentive and friendly. Our waiter guided us expertly through the menu and we were very... more
We've never had a bad meal here. I really like the way they do their quinoa salad. Had the kaylna platter tonight and it was great. Menu has something for everyone. Service was attentive and I like that they post on in the restuarant and online their local suppliers.
The food here is occasionally excellent, usually great, sometimes, but very rarely, ho-hum. Lovely little room with nice 'my ukranian grandma's house' touches. Food is local and usually organic, prepared with love. Brunch can be fab, but don't get the tofu scramble. It's not a place for vegetarians, generally. There's this thing they do with quinoa and chickpeas...don't go there. It's more a... more
