Unprofessional
Like the poster above I firsthand witnessed aggressive and careless driving that almost caused a serious collision this afternoon on the westbound 401. Mr. Harrington, please check your camera (that you claim to have) and see what a driver in one of your vehicles did today on Highway 401. Everyone makes mistakes and this could have been a very serious one.
A company with a well-detailed van obviously wants to send a professional representation to the public. Check the cameras that you have and at the very least tell your staff to pay better attention. Do that to a tractor trailer and you'll be installing locks on the gates up above.
Professional and Efficient
We want to thank Patrick for his professionalism and efficiency. We called him after-hours and he came to help us as soon as he could. We would not hesitate to recommend him to family, friends and neighbours that need a knowledgeable, friendly and courteous locksmith. We will use him again in the future without hesitation if the need arises.

Rude, unprofessional, racist
I called asking for a quote on an electronic access control system - the cheapest I could get since I'm a new business owner and I'm paying for everything out-of-pocket. The guy on the phone told me to go find any "Ali" in Brampton who sells stuff out of his trunk.

Key stuck in the door!
I recently got my key stuck in the front door of my house at 6:30am on my way to work, I called 3 Locksmiths who all quoted me over $200 for overtime rates to come out and told me I would have to wait 1 hour. I called Harrington’s Locksmith. I spoke with Patrick. He talked me through my problem on the phone and I got my key out of the lock in a matter of seconds and made it to work on time. I made an appointment for Saturday and we upgraded the locks at the front side and patio French doors with new Medeco High security locks. Patrick is my new Locksmith and I have already had him change the locks on my daughter’s condo and at my office. It was really nice to actually get “The guy” with 20 years experience on the phone and on the job

Broken in to!
When we were broken into we did not know who to call, my neighbor said to call a locksmith. We called a few, Harrington’s Locksmith weren’t the cheapest guys in town but they came out when they said they would and did an amazing job of fixing our door and frame. The cops thought we would need to board up the front of the house I can’t believe the job these guys did to secure us at 3am. The guy who came out even cut me a key for my Camaro while he was here.

My husband and I just recently moved into our new home in Toronto. We called a few Toronto Locksmiths before making our appointment with Harrington’s Locksmith to have the locks re-keyed.. Patrick discussed all of our options with us and we decided instead of re-keying to upgrade to Medeco. He gave us an incredible deal on the hardware and did a fantastic job retrofitting the new locks on our doors. I had no idea this kind of hardware was available I had never seen anything like this before. I was impressed with Patrick’s knowledge of door hardware and the care he took with the installation. I would call Harrington’s again in a heartbeat, one of the best customer service experiences I have had in a long time!

Our front door lock had malfunctioned and we were locked out of the house. We called Harrington's Locksmith expecting that we may have to wait for hours but someone was there within 20 minutes and within five minutes we were in the house. I was definitely impressed with the service we received and would not hesitate to recommend this company to our family and friends.

Install two new door locks for a house
August 17, 2011Called to install two new door locks for my house. I was in no rush but Patrick came over in 30 minutes! The work was well done, I was confident in the hardware and I did not feel oversold. Patrick was a great guy to chat with and the free sets of keys and upgraded hardware which he threw in were much appreciated.

Unprofessional and dangerous
I've never hired the services of this business, but I can informatively without a doubt NOT recommend them. I witnessed these people driving very aggressively yesterday, close to the Bayview/Leslie/Bridle Path area. One of the worst driving and most aggressive I've seen, and as someone going into Scarborough, that's saying a lot! I tried to take down their license plate to report him to the police, but since it was dark and raining, I couldn't get it down completely. Didn't forget the name on their van though. The fact that they had no problem driving like this with the company vehicle says a lot about them. I'm wondering if they were even drunk. The kind of men who would risk everyone's life on the road, are certainly NOT kind of men whom you want to trust to do your home locks!
This company replied to my review with:
"I'm quite shocked that someone would SLANDER a company online because they felt that their driving was too aggressive. After reading your review on both Yelp & Weblocal I decided to check the camera footage from the truck in question. I can see that the driver wasn’t being slowed down by the weather [Our vehicles our equipped for all weather conditions] but I did not witness him doing anything illegal! The next time you have a problem with someone’s driving, I suggest calling the police. Just make sure that they are actually breaking the law, or you might find yourself facing the criminal charges." - Karin DeSousa
I replied:
It is not "illegal" to stick your foot out as an elderly person is walking by per chance that they might trip over.
It's not illegal to get drunk and walk by a daycare center swearing like a pirate.
It's not illegal either to speak louder on the public bus about pornography and women with children on board.
Those are all just impolite and uncivilized.
However, it is both illegal and uncivilized to speed over the legal limit, overtake cars without ensuring safety, and particularly so in unsafe weather conditions.
Definition of "slander"
The action or crime of making a false spoken statement damaging to a person's reputation.
As my comment was not "false," it would appear your company hires many unqualified people to both drive their vehicles and monitor Internet comments!
I have read your negative review and you said more than enough within the line, “I've never hired the services of this business”, you are therefore, neither qualified, nor experienced to comment on the service provided or the character or manner in which it is provided. We are a 24 hr Emergency Service provider, I am sorry you felt intimidated by the driver overtaking you on the way to an emergency call, but I think that the vulgar parallels you attempt to draw with the examples you give for impolite and uncivilized behavior tell far more about you and your pathology than anyone else. You are leaving comments on a websites tailored to businesses and their clients of which you are neither, your intent is malicious, with enflamed accusations of criminal behavior, character assertions and doubtful insinuations with regards to security and”trust”, all in an effort to vilify and “INFORMATIVELY WITHOUT A DOUBT NOT RECOMMEND THEM” or besmirch our reputation. In this regard, yes what you are doing is slanderous. You have no more information than your own very foul attitude and opinion. I have read other reviews you have written, all of which I noticed where also negative, complaining about hair dressers and bad color.
