Je suis satisfaite d'être aller à Casa Gaucho mais, honnêtetement, c'est un restaurant bien ordinaire. Le service est ordinaire; la bouffe est ordinaire; la propreté des lieux pourrait être améliorté. La décoration, les couleurs commencent 'à faire vieux'. J'y suis allée parce que c'était un restaurant typiquement Argentin. Quelques touches de décoration, des photos et bien entendu le menu... plus

Le restaurant Casa Gaucho est un véritable petit paradis culinaire qui plait autant aux amateurs de ... Bref, c'est mon avis et je le partage !

Had the Costilla de Lomo a la Parrilla. Steak was cooked to my liking. I would have preferred the steak to be smaller, but thicker. It would be more accurate to call it a rib steak as opposed to a rib eye. Salad was fresh, bur the dressing lacked acidity such as lemon juice or vinegar.
Service was slow, but...

Argentine restaurants come and go. Three places closed down, in the last couple of years, on Beaubien, on St-Denis and in little Italy and a new one opened in old Montreal. My favorite one remains: Casa Gaucho.
The restaurant carries some discomforts like having a limited choices of drinks or greens is noted but the experience of the parillada and...

I know the 4 different places that serves Argentine parrilada in town. Casa Gaucho serves the most generous and tasty of them all, to me there is no doubt. There is a smokiness that you can smell at your table unlike the other places.
The choice of drinks is somewhat limited: there is no beer but the sangria they suggest...
