If your downtown, head in for a cinnamon bun. I think they only bake them on certain days though! Lots of vegan choices! Enjoy a mocha or cappuccino with your treat!
I've been a fan of this place since it opened years ago. They offer an excellent gluten-free, vegetarian menu (I'm not even vegetarian or gluten intolerant). Sunny makes the best soup and I also love the paninis, pasta salad, quiche, and their selection of lattes. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, she makes some of the greatest cinnamon buns you'll ever have!... more
All of their sandwiches with the veggie ham in them are great! However, their drinks are wayyy too expensive! Most of them are $5 or more for just a small
The good: Based on other reviews, I tried the Hot and Sour soup, and the Sun-dried Tomato Spinach Feta Pie. Both were ok. What was even better: the chocolate chip cookie.

I thought there would be more vegan options at this vegetarian cafe. I was a first-timer and asked what was vegan. The woman at the counter didn't really know. She listed off some salads and a sandwich that they could leave the cheese off of.... They can do the same thing at McDonald's. I had the curried soup and steamed bun. The soup was really spicy, which surprised me. The bun was...

The sundried tomato feta quiche is to die for! Don't miss out on this gem! The place could use a little sprucing up but great food.
In town on business and stopped here twice. Enjoyed the soup both times with a biscuit. Decent food quick service and friendly staff.
Great cozy coffee shop, tasty pasteries and reasonably priced. Go there 1 -2 times a week, friendly staff. Favourite place downtown.
I particularly love their spicy soup and whole wheat steamed buns. The staff are friendly, and this is great place to buy coffee beans.

The Best Cinnamon Buns Ever and friendly service
- Despite serving a lot of gluten-free foods, the serving staff have almost no information about the ingredients of their products and can offer little help to anyone suffering any other allergies. It never fails to amaze me that a restaurant that does all of their own baking does not keep an ingredients list behind the counter for servers to refer to. Allergies, sensitivities and other dietary... more
Located in downtown Regina, this may be a difficult place to drive to. I had one of their quiche dishes and found the crust very tough due to the fact they used a microwave to warm it up. However, it did taste very good! i also had one of their home made cinnamon rolls... delicious! Sparsely decorated, but well attended!
We checked this cafe out on the first morning of our visit to Regina and we continued to visit it daily. Over the course of our visits we tried their teas, lattes, specialty lattes, and the dark roast coffee. All were excellent. We bought some of their own roasted coffee beans to bring home with us. The cinnamon buns on... more
Their quiche and sandwiches are great! Cannot even tell your not eating meat
- I'm so happy that the Green Spot has delicious looking - and tasting - gluten-free options. The Sun-dried Tomato Feta Pie was awesome!
I am not sure about this place yet. Yes, all the pies and quiches looked great behind the counter, but when my vegetarian lasagna came out (I assume it was reheated in the microwave) it had lost its appeal. It would probably taste way better out of an oven too. The Green Spot salad that goes with it was a joke. Not even worth talking about. I might come back to try a sandwich one day but there... more
Wow, am I ever glad I decided to stop into this cafe for the first time, and take the time to enjoy the food instead of taking it to go. I had Sundried Tomato/Spinach quiche with garden salad, and a dill/sesame bun. UNREAL. I was particularly impressed because the quiche was crustless...and the filling was substantial and dense enough that you didn't even miss it! And the dill/sesame... more
Took my boyfriend for an iced coffee and cheeeecake. Coffee was undrinkable. beyond strong and there was lots of coffee grinds. My boyfriend couldnt even swallow his first sip. Cheesecake was old and overpriced. Never going back.
My green tea latte tasted amazing but it was a little to expensive! Medium size for $5?! WTF?
I heard this place has the best cinnamon buns in the city so had to try it. I'm not sure if they are the best but if not, they are pretty close. Baked only on wednesday and Saturday, the buns are popular. My other faves there are the vegan curry soup and the crystal dumplings.
Amazing steamed buns and unique daily soups. Also try the great muffins, green tea lattes, blueberry smoothies and various salads.
The last place downtown that seems to use good earl grey. Fantastic Cinnamon Buns and great muffins.
One of my favourite places for lunch and dessert. Love the sundried tomato sandwich, dessert squares and cinnamon buns. Super yum.
Always impressed with Greenspot. I'm not a veggie but I appreciate their health conscious menu. Hot&Sour soup is always tasty and that little bun hot pocket type thing that comes with the soup is so comforting. Fast service which is appreciated when on a work lunch hour. I've tried the sandwiches too and they are quite good as well. Give veggie a try!
Fabulous place. Great coffee and even greater cinnamon buns! But they only make them on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Service is always quick and the staff is friendly. Definitely worth checking out.
We visited Greenspot Cafe frequently during our stay in Regina. I haven't had Cinnamon Buns as tasty as the ones you get in Greenspot. I guess they're available on Wednesdays and Saturdays and I ensured that I had it every Saturday during my stay there.
The majority of their food selection is vegetarian and/or organic. I've been there three times for lunch only. They claim to have the best cinnamon buns in the city, but I have not been able to try them myself. I am not a vegetarian, but I "feel" healthier after eating here. They also have a large coffee bean selection, once you walk inside, it's very hard to miss.
If you want excellent cinnamon buns, drop in early Saturday morning. WOW are they ever good.
BEST cinnamon buns in the city. Oooey gooey caramel pecan cinammon buns. YUM!! Unfortunetly they are only made on Wednesday and Saturday.
I love going to this place! Tried their quiches, vegetarian lasagna, cinnamon buns, vegetarian sushi, vegetarian steam bun, soup, tofu fish, crystal dumplings... I haven't complaint once!! They were all very good! If you happen to see their chocolate toffee cake, this is a must try! The cake is very light and the cream is quite light. :)
This little cafe hidden downtown is a gem for gluten free (and regular) baking and lunches. They make amazing scones, muffins and treats as well as quiches, soups and salads. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable regarding food allergies. One warning.. Go early if you want to catch the fresh baking, cinnamon buns, etc - they go fast!
Absolutely the best coffee shop in downtown Regina but it is so much more. Offering a great coffee menu that they roast themselves - they do have seasonal favorites as well. They specialize in vegetarian and glutten free specialties - the muffins and scones are excellent as well as their california rolls and quiches. Their soups all taste homemade and... more
Pretty good coffee, great cookies and muffins.
Brilliant! Used to be a Regina Farmers' Market vendor too.
Great vegetarian lunch and excellent vegetarian sushi.
