Unreasonable Service Call Fee
My Maytag washing machine was making funny noises. I called Gord's Maytag. The repairman spent less than 15 minutes inspecting the washer, informed me it would cost $500 to repair and gave me a bill for $83.99. When I called the store, the man who answered the phone was entirely unapologetic, informing me that this is their "service call charge". The fact that I was not informed of the fee when I called to make the appt, and the fact that no repair was performed, did not appear to bother this man in the least. Not a business I would recommend.
Best sales service and after sales service ever in any retail setting.
This is a store with true customer service. All questions were answered buy knowledgeable staff. They took the time to find out my needs did not try to up-sell to something I didn't need, want or could afford. Installation and warranty service was hassle free and pleasant. I plan on making all bed and appliance purchases from Gord's. Maytag. Great Job Gord"s.
This place is the best!
Great products, great service. And a nice atmosphere. You can even have a cookie and purchase one of Gord's mother's handknit dishcloths!
New Maytag Dishwasher - YEAH!
Not only do we LOVE LOVE LOVE our new Maytag Stainless steel dishwasher, but the service was amazing. Great chocolate chip cookies too!

Dishwasher repair
November 24, 2011We needed to repair or replace our dishwasher which was leaking. We went to Gord's and explained the problem and gave the model/year of our machine. The associate helped to diagnose the problem and informed us that, at the very least, it would cost over $200 to repair our old machine.
