I would think twice before using their services

Things learned? Having a mechanic you can trust is very key - this was not the case. On top of that, I've reaffirmed that customer service is really big to me. And that the cleanliness and morale of the staff might be fair criteria to judge a store. This place was dumpy.

What really bugs me is that this guy Steve yells, disrespects, and swears at a 21 year old 5'6 asian who gets by on Junior passes at movie theatres and lift tickets (people think I'm in high school). I wouldn't yell and scream at someone half or a third of my age, and can't see myself being 50-60 and yelling a 20 yr. old who looks 16. Like come on, I'm a poor university student who really likes cars and is trying to make it work, despite it being such a money pit; I don't have a lot of money and can't afford to pay out that kind of cash right now. I'd rather take it off insurance and save some cash to do it later as money is tight both with me and my family. I don't know anything about cars and I'm trying to learn (I asked if I could stand by and watch the procedure). The other thing that bugs me is that I'm the first one to calm down and just let it go, meanwhile he's still fuming and yelling at me over spilt milk.

I understand that he might have been stressed out with other orders, and that he might be frustrated with my noobiness, but A. we agreed on $125, B. he also said "don't worry about it, I'll take care of it" C. grow up, I'm just a kid and he's a full grown adult. How is it that he's the first to snap and lose it, and I'm the one to calm down first.

Welcome to the real world I guess. Jeez.

Excellent Customer Service

Gord's Auto Repair has been my mechanic of choice for over 10 years. My propane powered ´83 Ford Van was kept roadworthy and safe with Steve going the extra mile to make sure my downtime and repair bill was minimal. When I finally scrapped it after 7 years and replaced it with a used ´93 Chev mini van in 2007 Steve once again saved me time and money with his uncanny knowledge of auto repair regarding new vs used replacement parts. I would highly recommend Gord´s Auto for their honesty and integrity.

Gord's Auto Repair is an excellant auto repair shop, they do it all.

Gord's Auto Repair has been repairing and servicing my vehicles for over five years. They have always provided expert service, accurate diagnosis and fair pricing. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new repair facility or even getting a second opinion

Shody diagnosis and repair

Went in for brakes and was sold front struts.

Didn't even bother to check out the brakes thoroughly.

Bad diagnosis for a 1991 vehicle.
Cost me over 800.

Final remark: Get your repair work in writing and exactly what recourse is available if work not properly done.

Don't ask for a deal. He'll hose you even more.

Not even a member of the BBB or BCAA.

Wouldn't trust this shop if my life depended on it.
