Love this location. I go out of my way to make the Body Combat class here because it's sooooo much more motivating and fun than the one on the Danforth (where I signed up). Lots of space, clean and inviting.
This is one of the better Goodlife locations in the city. It's spacious and there is plenty of machines to use. The classrooms are a nice size, and the best part: it's 24 hours during the week (closes at 8pm Saturday and Sunday)
The Good:
1. Space. There is plenty of space to go around, especially during off hours.
2. Equipment. Again, there is plenty of equipment in this gym and its up to...

Pros for this location:
-Clean and modern
-New equipment and usually well maintained (few to none are out of order)
-Great group workout classes
-Fantastic hours
Cons:
-Extremely busy group classes after work. Sometimes people get kicked out because there's not enough equipment and everyone is extremely close to one another. I usually have to leave work slightly early to make sure I get a...

Old equipment that's been worn down and not replaced. This could only be comparable to the ignorant trainers who are completely rude and useless.
As a past GoodLife hater (and I mean, I had an issue with them charging my account after a cancellation, I had to close a bank account and then because they couldn't get the money, they sent me to collections - even though I had CANCELLED), I have to say, this time around is going well.
I had originally joined at the 10 Dundas location, right at the corner of Yonge & Dundas (in the basement)....

I'm back to tell you this place is actually pretty great. In the last 8 months I've seen consistent care and attention paid to broken machines and fixtures throughout the gym and overall it's a good experience. Now - if only they could turn up that water pressure in the showers!
My fav location! The best location downtown. It's busy of course but it gets me motivated to work out and most importantly...It's clean.
I have grown to appreciate this gym and it's good hours. Staff are improving. I wish it was 24 hours every day and not just 4 days per week. My other issue is that it is wayyyy too busy sometimes. Hard to get my workout in at peak hours. Needs more benches!
I signed up for the TRX classes in early May to up my summer work out routine. The start date came and gone three times and I kept getting an email from the instructor telling me that they never had enough interest and would be pushing the classes back a week. After three attempts at starting the class i was given the option to refund my purchase which agreed too. I was told three different... more
Just returned from this location - and its vast and cavernous - full of all sorts of new and well kept equipment. The people that workout at this location are no nonsense let's get in shape kinda people. I'm going back.
I have been to most of the goodlife gyms in Toronto and I think this is one of the best ones. It's relatively empty off "prime" hours and there is a lot of equipment. They have a full set of bumper plates and a turf area. They have lots of classes and a lot of squat racks. I have not had to wait for a rack yet.
If you do go at prime time, it will be busy, but expect gorgeous people! Men and...

Absolutely the best Good Life facility I have ever seen. I have been to many many many GL's and this one takes the cake. Newest equipment, two floors, tonnes of cardio machines, lots of dumbells and very attractive people. The staff is always happy to help and talk. I also noticed that they have around the clock cleaners. Not only do they clean the facility, they clean the machines and dumbell... more
This is one of the largest locations in Toronto. It's always nice and clean and every time I come in there are enough equipment for everyone, but can get crowded during peak times, which is usually between 12pm-2pm, and 4pm-7pm.
The only GoodLife locations that have an indoor pool are Yorkville, Manulife Centre and the Sheppard/Yonge location. Mind you, that club is quite small and the pool is...

Amazing location. Best gym I've been to. Array of equipment, Nice changerooms, aesthetically pleasing. However, like all Goodlife's it's bloody packed at peak hours.
The gym is expansive, the facilities are excellent, but its still bulging at the seams during the after work rush. waiting for machines isnt all that bad but changing sucks when you have no room to breathe and everyones nude....there's no room for error
Love this Goodlife! Friendly staff, non-lunkhead members and clean, AMAZING change room facilities. I love the glass showers. Enough room to drag a bench and some dumbbells in a corner by yourself without getting in anyone's way and no wait time for the cardio machines (with functioning individual TVs). Mon-Thurs it's open 24 hours which is great.
I was thoroughly impressed with this gym...err...workout facility. I was in Toronto on vacay and was feeling sick from all the unhealthy (but amazing) food I was eating, so I Yelped around my hotel and found Goodlife Fitness. A day pass is $15 and was easily walkable from the hotel.
There's tons of equipment in this gym and it's all nice and new. You won't find chalk stains on the ground or...

This could very well be the flagship Goodlife Fitness in Toronto. It is very modern. Rows and rows of new machines, including the cardio machines, ample personal training area, stretch area and weightlifting area are on the first floor. There are also massage chairs but I choose to ignore them. no good can come out of lounging in a leather chair that a sweaty body previously occupied!

This gym is filled with sexy people AND they know it!
That's because this particular GoodLife is a fantastic gym and conveniently located for the Bay Street working crowd looking to their sweat on after the 9-5 grind.
Clean, extremely spacious and well-ventilated; this gym has a great layout whether you looking to pump some iron, or run a mile.
There is a vast assortment of top-of-the-line...

I've been to good number of gyms within Canada+US past few years (cause i moved a lot) and Goodlife is probably the best one so far. I believe it's been only few days over a month since the opening day so this is a very new gym. I know you go to the gym to work out but cleanliness is very important to me and Goodlife is always very clean.
I am not a crazy weight lifting person nor do I...

I had to try it really, especially considering the fanfare around the recent opening. The hot weather and the lack of air conditioning in my home gym (McCaul-I swear it was hotter inside than outside) provided the perfect excuse to give this gym a trial run.
It really is lovely. The front desk staff are friendly and the first impression is one of openness-the ceilings are high and the main...

I attended the grand opening and what a gym! Finally, a gym worth writing home about :) They have finally closed the old Eaton Centre South location (that's really tired looking) and moved the operations to this location only a 2 minute walk (200m/650 ft) down the street while the north gym is still in operation. This new spot definitely will be GoodLife's flagship location right in the core to... more
