Came in for our 10th Anniversary from Seattle. The manager welcomed us with a very nice glass of Prosecco and then suggested we try the Tomahawk rib eye since it was Tomahawk Thursday and it was almost half price. 50ozs of pure bliss. Made a special request for us--fresh salmon sandwich which was delicious and presented beautifully. Seated us in quiet area, and were very attentive in service. Tight seating

It's good food and everything but if you're a table of 2, you're always given tight seats with limited table space.

After using Open Table to reserve ahead, very disappointed with table given. Management did amend when requested but not a good first impression. Food brought to table was tasty but cold. Found service basic and felt we were being hustled along as a 6:45 table booking. With all the exciting food in Vancouver, will not return here.

I have been frequenting Glowbal since it first opened and on Friday I was disappointed in a number of things:1. The music was so loud we couldn't hold a conversation.
2. We had to wait for a long time for our food.
3. We were at a table with very little space to get in or out.
4. Coffee was luke warm.It saddens me to say that I won't go back for a very long time.

We love this restaurant when it is possible to sit outside. Brunches are excellent. Dining inside for dinner is a bit too noisy due to the younger Yaletown crowd. However, if you like a great "buzz", this is the place. Not recommended for people that want to carry on a peaceful conversation during dinner.

Outstanding meal and great service

We had dinner before the Pet Shop Boys show on Oct 3rd and the meal was outstanding supported by great service. This was one of the best meals we've had in the last 6 months (other than Hakkasan Las Vegas). Food was served promptly and with perfection. Absolutely enjoyed the satay platter for starters, followed by the bone-in Tbone, with the brussels sprouts side. Not a fan of brussels sprouts, but this dish from Glowbal was too good for words.

I love Glowbal Grill! Been there a few times for dinner and brunch and have yet to be disappointed. The food is amazing!
My last encounter was for the chef's tasting. You have to go early to benefit from this as the Executive Chef does a special tasting of items not on the menu or a combo of menu items with a different spin.

This is a great spot for lunch and brunch in Yaletown with absolutely fantastic food, albeit on the expensive side.

I however do not recommend them for dinner, specially on weekends. There's usually a large crowd jammed into the spot, with lots of attitude, and sometimes there's cover. If you don't know the servers or manager you basically get no service.

I haven't been to the restaurant but from what my cousin was telling me - it's a very classy and usually expensive experience. So you would expect the lounge to have a similar vibe.

The sampler plattter makes a great appetizer for sharing or is a tantalizing meal on its own. Every dish was tasty and well prepared. I drooled over the beautiful Ahi tuna main served at the next table but really enjoyed my meaty, tender lamb shank as well. Overall, a really neat spot.

Glowbal has unbelievable bartenders. They instantly make you feel like you're the most important patrons in there and flirt incessantly with you. It's rather pleasant ;)

The service was great. Our server was really friendly, articulate and funny. The food was incredible, from the satays to the meal and dessert. The blankets provided for the patio is a great touch. Cannot say enough good things about my dining experience here. Would recommend to anyone. Espresso cheesecake was mmmmmmmmmmm.
