incredibly interesting
there is no other historical museum like this in calgary, they have the most inspiring and interseting, intelleecutal exhibits you've seen in this city. go regularly!

A lot to learn from a small package
August 14, 2008I thought I would only get 30 mins or so at the museum before it closed but surprisingly it was opened til 9p (open til 9p on Thurs). My favourite Calgary attraction
April 19, 2008This is a wonderful museum. If you only have a day to see Calgary then I would recommend the Glenbow Museum along with the Calgary tower and zoo as the places to go. April 30, 2007I would highly recommend a visit to the new permanent Maverick's exhibit at the museum, showcasing big names and events from Alberta's past. I enjoyed the CPR display with its train effects and the Union Cafe set-up, complete with an old menu and juke box. There are so many things to see, I'm planning on a second trip.

February 28, 2006The Glenbow is a great Calgary museum. It has a ton of interesting constant and changing exhibits. You can spend a fair amount of time at the museum as it is so large.

One of Canada's great museums, and Western Canada's largest, this treasure trove houses artifacts of the West, dating back to the first white settlers of the 1800s and the history of the area's First Nations.
