Dependable Italian eatery
Not great but very good Italian style restaurant. The pizza was not impressive but the rest of the menu is worth a try. They have specials like prime rib every week.

March 15, 2014Went for dinner last week. Service was slow. Ordered the Zucchini Parm, It arrived with 3 slices of breaded zucchini with a slice of mozzarella cheese placed over the zucchini, not melted. Over cooked spaghetti & too salty tomato sauce. Lovely food, lovely people
December 24, 2013This was our second visit to Fresco's and we were not disappointed. It was no problem to substitute mashed potato for rice which made one of us very happy. All the food was nicely cooked and beautifully presented. Our waitress was efficient but not obtrusive. In all a very nice place. Good value for the money and a pleasant time.

Good food. The best wraps I have had, served hot, and very tightly wrapped so you can easily eat with no mess. A nice varies menu - Prime Rib Wrap is nice, as is the Salmon wrap, lots of pasta and burger choices too.
Fresh beer.
My go to place for a casual business lunch with clients.

What Happened
October 13, 2013This was a place that always delivered a good meal a couple of years ago but has not maintained the standards it once had. The food was blah. Did ownership change? Great Place, Good Vibes and Excellent Food

Love this place, whether it is a night out with the family, date night, or a girls night out. Food is always consistent. Service is always wonderful. The patio in the summer is sunny and bright and a lovely place to sip wine and nibble on casual and delicious food.

What happened to good service

Taps nights are great
July 17, 2013Every Mon and Weds nights they have an amazing tapas menu. Prices range from $3-$6 and the selection is great. I would suggest this for a group of friends. The dinner menu is fantastic and a good wine list to boot. Enjoy, I always do!

Ok...this is my favourite restaurant in St. Catharines. It is worth the drive if you are from out of town! I have been here MANY times and I have NEVER been disappointed. The food is always excellent and the service is great, even when busy.

Great food- Super place for private parties

March 25, 2012Have gone twice. Once for dinner, once for half price tapas on Monday night (~$4-5 per). Soft tacos, gyro and mussels were all great! Beet and spinach salad was good, but overdressed. Gnocchi and scallops weren't outstanding, but decent. The tuna sandwich is tasty! Will be back sometime to try more tapas for sure.
