they have done it again

4 of us went out to celebrate a belated birthday..and again the food was excellent. It was the middle of the week and not too busy. The server was great, the cook did a wonderful job and we had an extemely pleasant dinner. Now we hear that they will have a sunday brunch--

Good times at bdday

This was a nice night out. it wasnt to busy and our server was right on. we had a big table and she forgot a few but made up for it with a atmosphere and food. The scallops were a bit small but you got six little ones. id rather would have had three big ones.

Good Italian

Good food, but average for the Sault.....so much Italian here. We had a good meal, the food was hot, tasty and on time. Service was good. Nothing bad about it but nothing outstanding.

excellent food

every special occasion sends us over to Fresco's, the prime rib is excellent, the BBQ ribs are melt in your mouth tender and the service is outstanding. The lunch menu is great as well.

Never Had a bad Meal

Solid experience and thoroughly enjoy my meal, I've been here about 4 times in the last year and it has always been good food and reasonable prices. Not sure where the bad reviews come from. Service was fast and pleasant

Dissapointed

I have had a couple decent meals at Fresco but my latest experience was not a good one. The special the evening we went was Prime Rib, so we assumed it would be fresh and delicious - not the case. We later found out it was left over from a banquet and they just heated it up on the grill.... more

Total Disappointment

Was very disappointed in food and taste. Not one to suggest to anyone they cna make their own informede decisions . Staff was great but food was just not what it used to be.

Who knew

"Portuguese food" didn't really ring any bells for me prior to this visit, but oh my! The shrimp seasoned with special Portuguese peppers, were delicious with a unique after-bite that was most memorable! prime rib was the day's special on the occasion we went for dinner.
I have to say it was excellent and reasonable priced too
service could have been quicker, however it was very busy when we were there and they did the best they could

Don't take out

ordered takeout, black potatoes, black chicken, unbelievable and embarrassing, had a relative out of town for supper in a pinch I ordered takeout :((((

Frequent Stop

Excellent menu both eat-in and take out...good pizza and the dinner for two is an excellent value

Delicious

What a gem!
The online menu was different from the one in the restaurant, but nonetheless, it was fantastic!
My only 'complaint' was the slow-ish service. I understand it is a fine dining restaurant, but I felt like we were waiting a long time between courses..

Fantastic food, service and prices

We have eaten here twice, once with 4 of us and once with 6 of us. We found the food excellent, the service fantastic and the prices very reasonable for such a lovely restaurant.
You get a complete meal for under $20 plus beverage and the beer and wine are priced very moderately for such a great restaurant.

Good value for the quality

We have been to this restaurant twice. The portuguese chicken is very good as is the pork tenderloin. The seafood pasta was OK, a bit fishy for my tastes. Wine list is not that good, with limited choices of standard every day wines with nothing really good although the prices are reasonable for what wine they do offer.

After attending several times at Fresco European Grill, with friends, we all conclude that the food and service is excellent. The prices are very reasonable, the staff courteous, and a touch of class is ever present with every outing.

We dined at Fresco on Sunday, Nov. 15. We had the Portugese Grilled Chicken, Chicken Souvalaki, and the pork tenderloin with a white wine mushroom sauce. All of the food was great and resaonably priced. The decor was nice. My only complaint is the wine list needs upgrading. They do not have all the wines they need to match their dishes.

Our party of 4 dined at Fresco on Nov. 7, 2009. We were greeted warmly at sat immediately. We had a great meal there on Friday night. Decor is amazing, super friendly service and very good food at great prices. You gotta try the mussels and tiramisu!
