Great club overall, the staff just needs to be more friendly and personable. Most of them are ok but some just seem so miserable. And they are sneaky and try to rip you off sometimes at the bar so just be careful!

There was a particular bouncer named Marty, his service deserves a 5 star. We left for a bit because drinks here were tiny for the price & he recommended some bars for my friend. On top of that, he kept an eye on my car for the whole night since I parked right in front & people just happened to keep wanting to lean on it. Thanks Marty for your hospitality!

Alright, the club itself deserves a 3... more

I came here on opening day and loved it, multiple rooms all different themed, two floors with different moods in them. This was a promising club that I wanted to come back to, however, it was the type of people that go to the club that made my visits after the opening that made it very slim for me to return. Staff were great, however, demographic needs to change but hey if they're paying the... more

We went to Cosmic Gate last weekend after buying tickets online. There was a line outside the door (in the rain) that took awhile to clear and then there was ANOTHER line to get to the cash register. We had to wait behind people buying tickets b/c they don't have a line for ticket holders (VIP is prob better), but 560 staff seems to think that such incompetence is normal. It isn't (I lived in... more

This place has great music! 3 floors with a different dj on each. Pretty clean unisex bathrooms on the bottom floor.
I love the crowd on Friday nights. Everyone is there for a goood dance. Not as slimy as some of the other club. It's also a gay club but not sure which nights are straight or gay. Check it out! Get there early cause it get's busy!

I went to 560 in March to watch Bondax play. The DJ's before Bondax were pretty bad and I found the music too loud, and slightly annoying. The main floor is great for dancing. But there's too many stairs, which isn't a good idea for a club venue. Also the downstairs level is oddly laid out, and the bathrooms were extremely dirty. The bartender's aren't very friendly either. I definitely won't... more

It;s a club, so you know what you are getting into. Loud music, lots of people, lots of drinks.

Things to hate about it include:

It's a club.
When you're in your thirties it seems like you're surrounded by toddlers in there.
The drinks are expensive and small
Cover was 20$ the night I went.

Things to love about it include:

The space itself is pretty amazing. Big open dance floor, massive... more

Five Sixty is, structurally speaking, a pretty great venue. The main level is a big, open space with a stage at one end and bars on either side. There's also a downstairs (where the bathrooms are located) which also has a bar and dancefloor and optional entire separate sound-system than upstairs. Usually when I'm here it's just empty and used for bathrooms only, but occasionally there will be a... more

I stopped going to clubs many years ago. However, I still like going out to concerts regularly. Recently the Orbital concert was held at club Five Sixty. Like most clubs Five Sixty does need to work on their outside organization. When we finally got into the right line for ticket holders we were let in very quickly. There was no waiting at any of the bars we went to which is always nice. There... more

I should start this by saying that I'm not much of a club kid anymore. I've been here 4 times. The first three were for work events, and the last was for a regular weekend night. I can't judge much on the work events, but the staff was relatively friendly, though a bit snobby. The food was abysmal, but I'm not sure if they were responsible for the munchies or if they were brought in from... more

Came here for the Lil B show (*ahem* #rare #swag #woop #ThankYouBasedGod). Aside from getting to watch the greatest rap troll / 'dumb out' music live, this venue is kinda meh.

The good:
- bartender are pretty quick and drinks were reasonable from what I remember
- place is pretty huge (multi-level) with a big dancefloor
- ... that's it...

The bad:
- fire alarm was pulled mid-show (about 45... more

If you go to this place on a good night you will not be let down!! It is huge and there is lots to explore. Drinks are a bit much and outside door staff can be rude but once inside you wont regret it!! Saturday nights are gay male nights so dont be shocked if you get in there and find a plethora of sweaty shirtless dancing men. the design of the place is great and the dj in the washrooms is... more

I came to 560 for a party at Pride and had about the worst experience I've ever had in a club. Tickets were on sale prior to the event, cool... makes it easy. I purchased mine before they sold out and was happy that selling out likely meant there might be a chance of getting into the club, and space inside said club.

The reality was, the place was a mad house. Three different lines (the uber... more

Will be called the next Gay Dance Club~!! Yes, you heard it! The gays have moved to a new location, slowly and migrating~!!

First thing I love about this club, three floors of dancing and large spacing! When this place is packed, it is popping hard, and people are just enjoying themselves.

Another thing I realize it is very New York "esque". I love the design of the place and the people who... more

I've only been to this place once and so I'm not so sure it's sufficient enough to write a proper review, however that experience was really good.

First, I love the space. Considering how small and generally lame Vancouver's clubs are, this is more on par with something you'd find in Europe or perhaps Montreal or Toronto. With three floors there was ample chance for a change of scenery: the... more

WARNING: if you enter with a large group, you will leave in many small ones. Why? Because 560 is freakin' huge! Add drinks to the equation and you can guarantee at least 5 minutes of your night will be spent thinking "where is everyone".

There are 3 floors with different music playing on 2 of them. The main dance floor is gigantic and has a stage for featured DJs/Bands. The bottom floor... more

Five Sixty is Vancouver's hottest new club. I swore I'd never say "hottest new" anything -- but having now been there, I can honestly say it's hot and yes, it's new. I guess the lesson here is that opinions change; yesterday I caught a glimpse of Chad Kroeger's face and didn't want to kill myself. I must be growing up.

So back to the club. I have attended countless shows at the old dive of... more

I finally got to go check out 560 last night after hearing SO much hype about this place.

When I got to the club there was no line up so I got in pretty quick, I walked over to the girl at the door to pay cover and she just sort of looked at me blankly not saying a word, I knew cover was $10 but a hello or even just a smile would have been nice. So I gave her the $10 and she gave me a stamp,... more

I went here for a women's event that was held in the Lounge part of the club (which has 3 parts I think).

Long line up moved fast, thankfully, as there's only so much drunken obnoxiousness yelling in my ear I can stand at a time: "hey man look it's chicks making out! awesome!!" (as he pointed at random chicks making out)... Like honestly, do you live in a box?

Drinks were around $7-$8 for bar... more

Went to check out five sixty for the first time last Friday with some friends. Cover was $15 and it was opening night for a new house night called "Kaanekted". Overall it was good but not exceptional.

Let me begin at the begining....

We arrived around midnight. We were on the guestlist so we only had to wait about 5min to get inside. I would guestimate the regular line up to have been about a... more

Normally when I'm going out dancing I go to Club 23 which is the antithesis to Five Sixty. Other than that I go to see live bands so I'm not much of a 'clubbing' afficionado. A friend was dj-ing though so we decided to check this space out. We got there around 10 and they still weren't open and when they did security was akin to an airport. I do not understand why guy security can't pat down... more

I like my men big and broad; my nightclubs small and intimate. And on a recent Friday night visit 560 was big, expansive and empty! Or so it seemed.

This place is huge! A multi-layered spot with a mezzanine, long corridor communal bathrooms and a coat check so far from the front door that you literally pass everything to get to it ($3.50 once there).

The layout made me feel like a mouse in a... more

560 at 560 Seymour. Conveniently named, we arrived Saturday night at around 10pm or so, trying out our luck for the grand opening weekend of this place.

Upon arrival-line ups. Of course, the regular line up and the ticketed line up. We got into the regular one, it wasn't too long, about 15 people ahead of us. We waited, and waited, and for a while they were only letting the people with tickets... more

Being that this was a venture from the former owner of Graceland(for us old f@!%s like Evilyn T ;) , I had high hopes for 560! The main dance floor was huge, but definitely needed some more tables for people to put their drinks on! The stage will be great for live shows during the week. The main floor side lounge was nicely decorated, but way too bright. Nobody needs to see what you really look... more

My first impression from Friday night was... wow, this place is huge! This can be both a good thing and a bad thing. If the club is packed, obviously this is a good thing, but during the week, on slower nights (Tuesday/Wednesday) this may help Club 560 self destruct.

With three floors of fun, and a unique layout, this club does bring a lot to the table. The main floor is the dance floor, which... more

This large venue, spread across 28,000 square feet (2,601 square meters) is primarily a nightclub that also houses an art gallery. Named after the street it is located on, FiveSixty has multiple rooms each with it's own DJ and vibe. Most striking is the basement, which is a unisex bathroom with its own bar, DJ and dance floor. Live musicians and art shows add to the vibrancy of this place. So... more
