SERVICE - Service was good. Was greeted quickly by a hostess when we walked in and seated right away with some ice water. The place was clean and had a dark ambiance. We often go here for dinner, the atmosphere is warm and cozy and tehy are always busy which is nice to see. There is next to no staff turnover which is nice as they always recognize you and remember your preferences.

Small but well laid out very good quality food and great thin crust pizza.
Food is fresh and always specials offered nice quiet place well priced for the quality.
Salads are interesting and inviting to the taste buds.

Our department came for lunch. The food was still good, but the services was slow with only 1 server. The kitchen might be really understaffed cause it took over 30 minutes for the food to arrive. I still recommend this place; I just wonder why the store front and the kitchen are so understaffed even in busy December season.

Have visited Ferrovia on a number of occasions over the last 2 years. Every time we've had a decent experience. The food is usually very good, whatever we have chosen, the atmosphere and size feels friendly and somewhat intimate, and the staff are polite and professional. We like the place..

Visited Ferrovia over the past weekend an I have to say it's improved dramatically from my last visit.
The food quality has stayed the same but the portions are significantly better (i.e. last time I had to order a pizza when I got home). I recommend tearing into the lamb shank and topping it off with some bread pudding.

I have never tried the prix fixe menu (which I noticed got a few of the 3 stars), but I would suggest trying the seafood linguine! The portions are excellent, the sauce is delicious, and lots of fresh seafood to go around.

GR8 local restaurant with good food and good service

We eat at Ferrovia quite often and have never been disappointed. The owners are friendly and accommodating and the wait staff is good. A favourite is the warm mushroom salad - delicious and enough to share as an appetizer. The grilled calamari is also GR8. Pleased that they offer whole wheat pasta as an option too.

The food is good here. Had the noccias and had rissotto . My only complaint is wait ignored us and we were the only ones there! Hence i gave them only 3 stars.

The quality of food is excellent. We shared some apps at our table- everything was delicious. I had the short ribs as a main course- the sauce was exceptional. On the downside- service was slow, however we were a group of 3 tables. Parking on a Thursday night was impossible. But overall a great experience and I will return!
