Specialties
One of Stratford's favourite restaurants for over 20 years, serving lunch and dinner. Italian and Mediterranean-inspired dishes using local and fresh ingredients. Daily menus include: housemade soups and salads, stove oven pizzas and calzones, classic pastas and lasagna, paired with an extensive wine and beer list. Our homemade olive bread to start off your meal that is sure to...

Blech! This place is below average.
Came here with my husband and mother-in-law. We ordered 2 pasta combos and a pizza. Also some wine with the meal.
Bread was serves promptly. It's was tasteless. The wine took awhile not sure why. I saw it sitting at the bar for 5 mins before it was served. NOTE: it was not busy.
Next our meals came. The server first brought out soups and salad. Meh then...

Came here on Valentines Night. The restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside but is really gorgeous inside, very spacious while still having a great buzz and classy and romantic vibe to it.
Service was excellent. Very friendly, smiley and fast. The free bread brought to the table was hot, fresh and crispy and came with copious amounts of butter on the side! Not the traditional Italian...

Have traveled to Stratford for many years. Fellini's has good food but the service is just awful. Having a somewhat captive audience, it has gotten worse each year!
We have been sticking to our favourites for years on visits to Stratford but on a Sunday night we had to find something open, hence our surprise discovery of Fellini's and now it joins our favourites list. Every table was occupied, a good sign. Quick friendly service, good atmosphere, good food! Enjoyed the olive bread with olive oil and balsamic... more
Watery sangria with little flavour, besides being a specialty. The food is average, but the service is decent.
We've been going to Fellini's for the past 15 years or so. Almost every time we are in Stratford. As others have said, you might eat here for the olive bread alone! But then you would miss some other very nice dishes. I tried something new (usually have the Fusilli Venezia or the Shrimp Callabria which are good too): the... more
Enjoyed a great luncheon at Fellini's. Delicious spinach salad with pistachios and cranberries. I appreciate "gourmet" ingredients in a salad.
Grilled veggie sandwich was yummy. Portebello mushrooms and red peppers on a lovely ciabatta bun.
Appreciated the "olive" bread at the table. Nice touch that is now sadly extinct at restaurants.
Speedy & attentive service. We were on our way...

Great food, great atmosphere, decent prices, fantastic service. Get the Scallops. Fantastic all around. Never had a bad meal, and the olive bread is worth it alone
I checked menus of all restaurants on Ontario Street. I was looking for a good linguine with red sauce. Found frutti de mare with mussels, shrimp and smoked salmon.
Of four mussels plated the one facing me was visibly rotten/spoiled. The four shrimp still had full tails and the tiny shreds is salmon were hard to find.
Red sauce? Chunked...

Chose Fellini's for a pre-festival dinner. I was excited as they had advertised as offering Italian and Greek cuisine, but upon looking at the menu I was a little disappointed to find that the large majority of the dishes were Italian with maybe 2-3 greek options. That aside, the food itself was rather good. The homemade bread was delicious and... more
This is a fine restaurant with delightful ambiance. There was a varied menu and our group of four tried different menu items. All were well prepared, presented and delicious. However the meal was entirely spoiled by the indifferent service. On more than one occasion we had to send someone from the wait staff to find our waiter. We waited 50... more
We parked just outside Fellini's to have a lunch and we decided to try it as it was so close. Great choice! The friendly service and food was excellent. Highly recommended and will be there again when we return to Stratford.
We were looking for a light meal before we left Stratford to return home. It was early (before 5 PM) and we were seated immediately (this place is large, but it filled up quickly on a Friday evening). We each had a pizza and the service was very good. My husband had a Caesar salad and was disappointed that they... more
The service was pretty good, the price was average, the menu selection is pretty good. My husband and I each ordered a pasta with a side of salad. He had the Rigatoni Short Rib with the Carnivale Salad. He said it was delicious. I ordered the Marinara Meatballs with Spinach Salad. The spinach salad was very good! I really enjoyed... more
Being from Stratford we have the pleasure of dining at Fellini's many times each year. Reservations are always a good idea as you hate to be disappointed. We love the menu selection and have had a variety of dishes and all are "consistently delicious". The staff are always very friendly and attentive. Portions sizes are generous. Excellent quality and value!... more
We were able to be on the waitlist for a short 20 minutes on a Saturday evening in July. Do make a reservation if you know you are headed here. They do have 'street or sidewalk patio' tables, but we were shown to the inside back. Unfortunately, it was probably the worst table in the place - right inside the... more
We eat here whenever we come to the Stratford Festival. This is our twentieth trip.
We did book a dinner reservation (on a Thursday) because there were lots of theatre goers in town. We managed to secure an outside table. The sangrias were delicious, as were the pasta main courses that we chose.
I would recommend Fellini's to anyone. We...

The staff were very helpful in getting us seated and served in time for a show. The food was excellent. The decor was fun and perfectly acceptable for a small town, in fact it exceeded expectations.
A perfect place for dinner before the theatre!
Recently visited Fellini's on a date with my wife. Menu selection is very good, but it's execution was only OK. For an Italian restaurant the pasta was surprisingly bland, and the lamb, though tasty was somewhat overcooked. The serving sizes were excellent, service and value very good. A bit of improvement in the cooking of these dishes (maybe just an... more
We had a leisurely dinner after attending a matinee performance at the Shakespeare Festival. Each course we had from the salad and soup, to the fresh fish special and dessert was carefully prepared and delicious.
We tried this property before going to the Avon Theater. we arrived at 5.30 PM and while we did not have a reservation we were accommodated a very small table.
The menu is not expansive and reflects the property's owners understanding that the real purpose of this property is to serve the 'pre-theater' market. The wine list was likewise limited...

This is a traditional Italian restaurant where you get heaping plates of pasta, freshly baked bread to dip into oil and balsamic vinegar. A great way to enjoy a leisurely lunch over a bottle of good wine.
It is always a treat to eat at Fellini's! We love the food and the great service. My favorite is the asparagus salad, but the pasta and pizza are wonderful as well. It can be tough to choose. The bread is so good that we order a loaf to take home with us at the end of our trip. The... more
Really good food, friendly staff - but rather slow probably due to busyness after the theatre shows let out.
I like the Da Vinci that allows you to choose your pasta, sauce, and protein! Always good service. If you get takeout in the winter they give you a 25% discount!
God food, large portions, prompt service. We started little early but by noon, the place was full and people were waiting outside. It was on Saturday.
A friend recommended this Italian place and I'm glad she did! We went for lunch. The portions were huge, the price was fair and it was fantastic.
Excellent menu choices and food was very good. Service was excellent and prices about right. Excellent beverage selections.
We had dinner there this weekend, and it was very enjoyable, with good service and a great atmosphere, fun and casual. The food was very good, starting off with the amazing bruschetta to share with the group! The best I had in a long time.
Between that and the general atmosphere, I will be back there soon!
A friend and I went to the festival and popped in here for dinner. There were many reserved tables but we were lucky to be seated right away.
The service was friendly, the food delicious (especially the bread!) and the service was quick without feeling rushed.
This restaurant was highly recommended to us. Trust me, we aren't the pickiest people when it comes to food. I ordered a chicken dish which proved to be inedible because the cook must have dropped the salt shaker into it. When I told the waitress that it was inedible due to salt, her reply was "maybe you aren't used to... more
My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary at Fellini's. We hadn't been in many years, but the food is still just as good (if not better) than it was before!
We started with the Marinated Olives and Hummus and it was delicious! As always, the olive bread was amazing (and we were lucky enough to be able to...

Five of us went for lunch. We had a lot of catching up and the server was wonderful giving us plenty of chat time. Server knew menu well, had some great recommendations. I had the vegetarian sandwich, flavourful, beautifully presented and came with a side salad. Yummy
Other sandwiches and salads were ordered and they all were tasty and fresh....

Nice small outdoor seating area, great selection of sangria. Awesome bruschetta with option for added goat cheese.
Thursday May 30/14...Fellinis is on the main street of downtown Stratford within easy walking of the four Stratford Festival theatre venues. We arrived promptly for our 5:45 reservation to find the place packed and the front of house manager turning several parties away. Our table for two was waiting for us. The service people were excellent. Friendly, efficient and attentive.... more
Visited here a few times in Stratford, couldn't accomodate a larger party without a reservation understandably, but still delivered nice dishes for dinner. Usually take the soup for entrance followed by the chicken parmesan or another meat dish, although my family have really liked the lasagna, pizzas, and salad options. Scallops were great, too!
At the start of my wife and my end of winter sanity vacation, we visited Stratford Ont for a walk around the "lake." Whilst there we dropped into Fellini"s for lunch. I had the
Farfalle Calabria with Caesar Salad and my wife had had the Chicken Tuscan. The food was excellent. The wait staff was great. The facilities were clean....

Always great food and service, in a nice atmosphere. Good selection at fair prices. Homemade olive bread is wonderful, and you can buy it and take it home!
On our recent stay in Stratford at Mercer Hall Inn, we ventured across the street to Fellini's. A light Italian lunch would prep us for a big dinner later. What followed was awesome. In-House Made Olive Bread, delivered with Oil/Vinegar Dip, Minestrone Soup as good as it gets, and a Caesar's Salad that compared to the best I've ever had.... more
Want to grab an inexpensive lunch or dinner in Stratford. You can`t go wrong with Fellinis, older Italian decor. The food is reliable, staff is friendly, and the place is clean.
If you don`t want to beak the budget but need some tasty nourishment, you can`t go wrong here.
The location is on the main drag. ( Ontario St. )...

Not outstanding in any way. Middle of the road in most ways and far below average in the decor. Very out of date interior that really needs an owner who cares to spend some money on updates.
I live in Stratford and like to go to Fellini's for special occasions or when company comes to town. I love being able to eat fairly light with a wonderful salad that includes asparagus and goat cheese, meat optional. Then I can feel less guilty eating the bread that accompanies the meal along with olive oil and balsamic vinegar for... more
Ate here for lunch. had spaghetti with meatballs as I needed something hearty for a very cold day. Food was good and came quickly. My host (a local) remarked everything was always good. The atmosphere has many older era movie posters and there is a bar downstairs. Right in the middle of downtown area.
Pizza's and brusechta was great. A real Italian kitchen. But be careful with local wine, take your time. Atmosphere is great as well.
Try the bread!! For growing up in Stratford this is still my favourite place to go. Portion sizes are very generous and at a good price for dinner. I get the pasta and meatballs and you can most definitely tell that they are made in house. Their bread is delicious and is made there also, comes with evoo and balsamic vinegar to dip , it also has a great Italian taste. Yummy fresh salad and... more
Stopped in for lunch. Very good, reasonably priced, good service, little slow, nicest part is banquette seats are not too close to next table. Nothing worse when banquette seating is too close.
We have been here once before and enjoyed the dinner, the price, not so much. The sevice (good) We were in town for dinner, show, B&B and home. We both ordered Chicken Oscar Bella. Was good but I was glad I had a full glass of water, chicken was dry. Ordered half liter of wine. Put some wine in both... more
Have been going to Fellini's for years particularly for lunch and have always found the soup of the day a knock out.I recall, years ago, on a super hot summer afternoon being served cold strawberry and watermelon soup. It was to die for and ranks at the top of my favorite soup list.
Other items on the menu are also...

We enjoyed dinner at Fellini's. The pasta and wine paring suggested was excellent. The value for the meal we had was also very good. The only down side was our booth was adjacent to the pass through to the kitchen and was a little noisy. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Would recommend going.
Our first time eating at Fellini's and it was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed a bottle of the House White Wine, the wonderful Olive Bread and we both had Chicken Parmigiana. The Parmigiana was a large portion, which we were unable to finish, but we both enjoyed. Our server Michelle was very pleasant and helpful. This restaurant tends to fill... more
The last couple of years this is where we go for my birthday. We usually reserve a fairly early time to beat the rush of the people planning to go to a play at the Stratford Festival. We also like a seat in the front window. She had a comestic Pino Grigio, I had their featured local Merlot. The warm... more
Not a huge menu, and what was offered was certainly Italian. Good sized portions, fair wine selection. As this was 5:15 pm on a Thurs., the restaurant was quite full and busy. Many before & after Theatre goers; and the service was still good. I had the Tortillini a Forno, with Hot Italian Sausage. Excellent choice for taste, not too... more
It was my first visit to Fellini's. I had Butternut Squash soup and the Roasted Asparagus Salad. Both were wonderful. The soup was rich and creamy and the salad was full of flavour with large slivers of Asiago cheese and an amazing sundried tomato dressing. I didn't want the saled to end! Fabulous olive bread and then to top it... more
This was very good italian food. Service was good and the location is excellent in Stratford. The portions are generous and the selection is decent. I had a salad and a small plate. My friend had the lasagna which was huge. I thought the prices a bit high but I don't know if that is typical for the area.
I had a white Sangria that was out of this world. I think it was the best part of my meal...

Loved the crayons and brown paper on the tables. Oh yeah, the penne Alfredo was one of the best ever.
The "foodies" who go to Stratford seem to downgrade this place all the time, but we had a good experience here. The food was decent, can't recall what sort of pasta we had to be honest, but no complaints. It was very busy but the service was prompt and pleasant.
Fellini's really made us happy on Sunday night. No plays to see, our last night in Stratford, and we just wanted to have a leisurely, tasty meal in a comfortable place. Fellini's did deliver!
Restaurants close a little early in Stratford on Sunday, but we made a reservation (same day) for 7 pm and had plenty of time to linger over our meal. Our server was very friendly and personable (and...
