My wife's most special meal of the day is breakfast and she loves this place. The quality of the food is excellent and is always prepared perfectly. Portion size is on the large end of the scale. If you want a big hearty meal, try the Paul Bunyan... it come out on a platter!
Best breakfasts in town hands down. No matter how busy, service is quick, friendly and the food is always perfect. If you're in Stratford for breakfast, there is no other choice.
We like it here, not as expensive as other places to have breakfast. The kids like the Devils Cake for breakfast with ice cream i get the oatmeal and my husband eats something different every time. We had the same server a few years in a row and she was always very good at her job. I will always eat... more
We had breakfast here and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was fast, delicious and had big portion. It has a variety of breakfast you don't know what to pick because you'd want to try them all.
We went to Stratford and stayed overnight as it was a late show we went to at Avon Theatre. We weren't happy with the "breakfast" offered at the motel we stayed at. The motel only offered cheap muffins, orange juice and coffee. We wanted a real breakfast so we decided to go somewhere else.
So we chose Feature's, we're glad...

Easy to find right on the corner of the high street. The service was fast, the food, well prepared and nothing but tradition.
The place itself, could use a new carpet and to be honest a little TLC. As busy as it was with a huge line-up as we left, its hard to imagine the owners couldn't afford to freshen...

After a heavy night of play-going, a late breakfast the next morning at Feature's is a tradition with us. The food is fine - not gourmet, but nicely prepared. Omelettes, pancakes, bacon, full farmer's plates - you name it, they have it. The service is very good, considering Sunday mornings are crowded. The a/c could work better, but who's complaining?
Went to features for breakfast and everyone in our party was happy with their food. Not fancy but delicious and fast service. Only complaint was that temperature in the restaurant was a little warm.
I have been here several times and always get the Paulette Bunyan. It's a large breakfast with a great price- sure to keep you full nearly all day! The service here is great and the servers are usually quite friendly. highly recommend!
Great brunch. Perfect cristo. Come here for your brunch time classics..... Friendly staff, super fast... Classic interior and service
Food was good as was the service. The place could use a good scrubbing. We have breakfast which was served fast and hot.
This may not be your idea of a great start to your day but Guns n Roses was on the radio and our server was "full on" but it all worked and the food+service were excellent. Prices are very reasonable - yes, the place is a little dark/worn but this is great value.
After a good experience the first day I changed my mind and had breakfast here again.
Food was good and service was great.
It is very popular so expect to wait but definitely worth the wait.
We are frequent visitors to Stratford but hadn't tried this place. Went there for lunch today and it was very busy with locals in the off season -always a good sign. I had an excellent homemade 8oz. burger with cheese and mushrooms with a bowl of very good homemade soup, her indoors had the chicken BLT on ciabbatta which she... more
I had read about Features online and thought it would be fun to check it our. We went for breakfast on a Sunday morning off season. It was not busy and we were served promptly. I liked the fact that they had early bird specials that were an excellent value as well as February specials. We each had a skillet... more
My bacon was crispy and the homefries are delicious. Good coffee and o.j. I was completely satisfied. Husband had pancakes and sausage and he loved his meal, too. Dan the server was friendly and entertaining; a bit of a character but his personality suited the diner atmosphere. I can see how his chatter might not be everyone's cup of tea,... more
Great food, cozy restaurant!
Awesome service, we loved Dan! Always a great place to stop when in Stratford!
Never disappointing
It was early on a Saturday before the stores opened and the tourist season was pretty much done but this place was humming with customers and good natured wait staff. It was apparent there were regulars known by their first name and then visitors like us. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. The breakfast menu appealed to all tastes from... more
The service is fast and the food is great. I love the Paulette Bunyan breakfast with one of everything :)
We enjoy going out for a good breakfast so this was disappointing. For one thing, they put a powder sugar cinnamon on your pancakes. We have never heard of that and no one at our table could eat their pancakes, too sweet. The scrambled eggs were on the cool side when they arrived. Service was quick, staff was friendly but... more
I live in town and can tell you that Feature's is not the best breakfast place in Stratford. The atmosphere is terrible. I find it to be very outdated, unwelcoming, and grungy. On my most recent (and might I add last) visit, I could not believe so many people still vote for this place year after year. Bus boys walked... more
Classic old style diner. Good Food and plenty of it. Great porridge or eggs any way. Great place to start your day. Buy your newspaper before you come
Stopped in for a quick bite of breakfast and ended up have a long leisurely eggs benedict breakfast, that fuelled the entire day. Only get a half order if you want it lite or are not a heavy eater, cause a full order is reserved for us large, macho, lumberjack types (160 lb. soaking wet). Service is awesome, food is... more
We go to Features every year, but this time we may have ordered the wrong breakfasts. My husband had a waffle which he described as "mushy", and I had eggs which were simply not tasty. The sausages we ordered we did not like. I am hoping we just ordered the wrong things...we have always loved this place!
We always ate at Tango but now that's gone we wanted a good breakfast. Can't believe we never tried this place before. The food is great and plentiful, the service fast and friendly and the price is right. We'll definitely be back.
Really full breakfast menu with many egg choices as well as pancakes and more. Our server was knowledgeable and fun, food was exactly as ordered, plentiful, and reasonably priced. Atmosphere was a bit crowded but pleasant with comfortable sound level. Have not eaten other meals there but suspect that lunch would be a good choice too.
We love this place for breakfast. Obviously where all the locals eat. Every time we have been there, it is packed. The eggs benedict on french toast is great!
We were there for Sunday brunch after theatre evening, and so thought it was more upscale than it actually is. Food was plentiful, just average. I had eggs benedict - 2 for $6.99 (or 4 for $9.99 - who would have that???) and it was on soft bread, not toasted or not english muffins. Coffee was so so.
We went for breakfast to Features. My daughter had the half order of bruschetta eggs benedict with Canadian (peameal) bacon. It was about $6.25.
I had the Paulette Bunyon. It consisted of two eggs, any style, two bacon, two sausages, baked beans, home fries, rye toast (one of several choices) and a large pancake garnished with icing sugar and cinnamon....

This seems to be the only true breakfast place in Stratford. There are others but people line up at their door waiting for tables. The wait staff are very friendly and efficient. The food is plentiful and good. It is a little noisy so if you are looking for a quiet morning coffee and conversation, this is not the place... more
Sat down to a hearty eggs benedict breakfast yesterday, 4 eggs, two French toast, hollandaise & a plate full of home cooked potatoes....fired the soul for the entire day. Great friendly atmosphere, pleasant folks who are ready & willing to make sure you have all you need. I spend at least one day a week in Stratford now I've got... more
Our server was hilarious (didn't catch his name but he had a shaved head) and the food was really good!
An excellent place for breakfast or a sandwich. The service was good. I suspect that this place is frequented by the locals. We talked to a young couple who sat next to us and they stated that they came there to eat all of the time.
We went there before the theater and were able order and eat quickly.

Finding a reasonably priced breakfast in Stratford is not that easy. If you like diners and you like standard breakfast food, well-prepared, then this is for you. The service is quick and the food is good. Get their before nine on Sunday if you want a table without waiting.
This restaurant was right down town and within walking distance of our hotel. The staff was very friendly and the place is very cozy. You really can't beat a $5 breakfast which gets you 3 eggs, 3 sausage or bacon, home fries and toast. I will definitely be back!
Great atmosphere - classic "cottage style" wood decor and big windows on two sides. The service was fast and extremely friendly! There was lots of variety on the menu including all-day-breakfast. Arrive hungry!
Both the food and the service was prompt and courteous. I may even attempt the Paul Bunyan special during my next visit.
Nice old-fashioned sort of diner. We've had breakfast here before, but in view of the fact we were eating before the evening show we decided to have brunch here. 11 - 11.30 a.m. is a good time to go and we were seated right away. I opted for the 2 egg rather than the 4 egg Eggs Florentine, which was... more
As an out of towner, we found Features by accident. Staff is friendly, food hot and portion size huge. Great find!
We stopped to have breakfast at Feature's before we left Stratford and it was well worth the stop. The restaurant is nothing to look at from the outside but the servings were gigantic and the food was good. Highly recommend the Eggs Benny with Bruschetta. Instead of an english muffin, they used french toast. The home fries were very nicely... more
Breakfast, Breakfast, Breakfast. If there's a line-up outside the door it's worth it for the Eggs Benedict or Eggs Florentine. The Paul Bunyon platter is too big for the average person, so if you order it .. be hungry. The coffee doesn't match the good food though.
Staff are efficient and friendly.
The good specials start at 6am and end at 10am, After that the menu is priced like other restaurants in the area. The place is crazy busy.It Is small and you have people staring at you while they line up waiting for seating to become available.
Our first visit to Features, and it won't be our last. Got there in time for the early bird breakfast "features". Very satisfying and perfectly cooked eggs, over easy. Had an eye on their Eggs Benedict - - but FOUR eggs! Sounds very hearty. Upbeat & likeable wait staff.
The breakfast at Features is the best the City of Stratford has to offer. They have something for everyone from those who suffer with massive hunger pains to those who have a discerning palate. The kitchen is quick to take order and get it out the table. The staff is very friendly. They have one particular wait staff who does... more
Happened upon this Stratford institution while on a short viist to Stratford. Great, straight up, homestyle breakfast at a great price. Exactly what we wanted.
...if you want good coffee, though, hold out and run 2 doors down to Balzacs.
We visited this restaurant as we were excited to visit Stratford for the Swan Festival. WOW - What a disappointing restaurant! It was 4 adults (nana and papa came with us), my husband and our 2 kids. We waited over 45 minutes for a table even though she stated a 20 minute wait. We were not in too much of... more
My husband and I have had breakfast here many times. Usually we come early in the day. This time it was just after lunch so I decided to order a steak sandwich and a side salad instead. My husband ordered pancakes. Then we waited and waited and waited. Tables around us got their food and we still waited. Finally we... more
Been there multiple times over past decade. Open for breakfast and lunch. Always consistent, with a very cosy atmosphere even though it is always very busy. It's neat to sit at the counter and watch the cooks do their thing. Service is really good, very friendly. Food is fabulous.
Went here for breakfast after reading the reviews. It lives up to its praise - this is a great diner-style breakfast place. Definitely go in hungry.
My husband had the early-breakfast special (approx. $5), and I had one of their traditional plates, eggs with bruschetta (approx $8-9). Both had lots of food on them - each had a small portion...

I was there in July of 2000, the breakfat was unbeleiveable. I tried the Paul Bunyon but could not finish it. Outstanding !!!!
Fantastic Breakfast! Fluffy pancakes, Eggs Benny, toast, jam, juice, coffee, tea. Friendly Service. Kid friendly too. :)
I was there for Sunday breakfast and the food was just excellent. Three chefs cooking in the background. Waiters/waitresses had service down pat. An overall excellent experience. Can't wait to go back!
