Staff has an attitude

The front desk staff at this hotel is less than friendly. Our room had a stain on the wall that looked like red wine. Overlall a disappointing stay.

Bad experience

I booked room with king size bed and I paid $10.00 more . But they gave me Queen . When I informed the counter they did not changed my room. In the shower there was no tub instead they put the chair.

I've used this hotel three times for overnight layovers at Toronto, the most recent being in May 2014. I would recommend it for anyone who does not have a car, as the airport shuttle operates every half-hour, only takes 5-7 minutes to the terminal, and avoids parking fees. My family and I decided to stay overnight by the airport since we had to be at the airport in the morning during rush hour and didn't want to risk being stuck in traffic. I stay at many fairfields. They usually are decent value and consistent.

Third time I have stayed at this one. Always find issues. This time:

1. Hair on floor in bathroom and carpet
2. Lousy cable connection and. Poor tv as most channels are fuzzy
3. Under staffed and overworked Kitxhen workers are slow, over whelmed and produce poor results.
4. Coffee out during morning breakfast!

We enjoyed our stay very much despite the fact that we had a room close to an engine room so it was a bit noisy at night. Staff was very pleasant to deal with, breakfast was a plus appreciated. Will come back again and hopefully, will get a different room.

Clean room for a reasonable price near the airport

I got a weekend deal for $99 / night plus HST and $12/night for parking.
No complaints about the room. It was clean and the decor was decent.
Bonus points for Paul Mitchell bath products in the shower, but not enough to make up for the bitter and undrinkable in-room coffee.

Short stay, all good

Needing a hotel near the Toronto airport, we were very pleased with our short( 12 hour) stay here. Friendly staff, nice accommodations, shuttle to and from airport, good wifi, small gym area.One drawback, found bathtub was not as clean as should have been!

This is a typical Highrise Fairfield Inn. Complete with typical breakfast. No Wake Up Call/Poor WiFi

Check in okay but rest of 2 day stay for personal business did not go well. Biggest issues-no early morning wake up call which for an airport hotel is totally unacceptable. Stayed here two nights on business. Excellent staff, very clean and the lobby bar/ restaurant is nice. (they even have draught beer). Once again, this hotel has exceeded expectations. Very quiet rooms, despite being very close to Pearson Airport. Very clean room, and a decent breakfast buffet. It should also be noted that the room rates are quite reasonable. Equally important, if not more so, the staff were friendly and genuine. All in all, another first-rate stay.

pleasently surprised. @ the price of 100 Canadian this hotel is a good deal. nice lobby/ good rooms/ free internet. definitely next stay at the fairfield - toronto airport. the restuarent/ bar could be better with some more life and light.

The hotel was great. We went downtown and it's a bit of a hike. If we were fly out of Toronto, we'd stay there.

Clean hotel, right in the heart of the airport district. The rooms are large (on the 8th floor anyway), the restaurant is good, staff friendly. The only downsides I can see so far are the restaurant/bar closes at 10:30, and they only have 2 luggage carts for the entire hotel.

it was a nightmare- the clerk confused us with somebody and so our room was given to that person and we ended up in the room for person with disability and no sofa bed as requestef. The 3 of us had to squeeze in 1 bed that night and the following day wasted a day waiting to be moved to another room because that clerk told us by morning we will have the room with sofa bed- waited till past 3 pm... more

Dream Family Vacation

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My room was on the top floor so I had an excellent view. I liked the fact that that it was ideally located. It was close to the airport and to the town central as well. So, there was need to rent a car.

pool is small, no shower. Pool location is bad

One night only

Room was clean, Matress killed my back. I am 180lbs and could feel everyspring on the bed in my back just sitting on the bed you can feel the poor quality. Service was very good, very polite but at the end of the day the cost for food including snacks was so high I had to go out to find something to eat. If you don't have a car you are out of luck.

comfortable and affordable

It was a quiet, clean, and comfortable place to stay. I was only there for one evening to visit relatives and didn't get the chance to use the exercise room or pool.

Great, especially for the price

Hotel was great overall. We would definately stay there again. The "above and beyond" was the hotel allowing me a late check-out at no extra cost. My husband was unable to pick me up until 2:30 pm and I was permitted to stay at no charge. Told my admin to get a decent hotel near the airport and this is what I got. Average Fairfield Inn that's very close to the airport. Downside is that it's industrial out there and there's absolutely nothing to eat - we walked out to the Hilton that's nearby to get something.
