Comfortable clean place to stay. Good experience. Perfect location for our needs.
only problem was the air-conditioning fan which could not be turned off without increasing room temperature. Made it difficult to sleep as it cut in frequently during the night.
Pros: -clean rooms -well furnished and modern room -excellent location Cons: -though the rooms are clean and modern the hallways could use refinishing as could some of the decor Overall: A trouble free experience with a few areas for improvement. Thanks executive royal.
Everything went as expected, from check in to check out. No complaints.
We have stayed at the Executive many times over the years and always enjoyed our stays .The restaurent was open to us later in the evening . The nite was very quiet .
Nothing of note. Check-in was smooth. So was check-out. The elevator was dirty when I checked in and he same bits of litter and debris were in the same places when i checked out.
Hotel was older but in decent condition. Beds were hard in my opinion. From a hotel perspective ungrades would be nice. People were good and friendly
Great decor, cozy beds n pillows. Love the keurig! Very quiet clean, friendly staff! Only drawback was the hot water was lukewarm.
Family of three checked in late and left early. The restaurant was closed but the lounge staff seated us there and served us supper all the same, no complaints there. The room was clean and tidy, newer decor, as was the rest of the facility. We checked out around 4:30 am to head for the airport, which is not far. The drive was made even easier by the complete lack of traffic on the road. Only... more
I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel design, conveniences, restaurant, staff, and comfort. Thanks
Hotel located in south Regina, near several choices for restaurants, walkable to Mackenzie art gallery and Wascana park (45 minutes). There is bus service stop 2 blocks away but go online for times as not frequent. The hotel itself has gone through name changes and ownership, the rooms although clean could be updated. Front staff friendly and helpful. Has a plain lounge never saw anyone in and... more
All is well except I have not received a receipt for payment by Mastercard for my two night stay last fri and sat at the Executive Royal in Regina. The wait is very inconvenient. P.M. Kowalsky
Hotel is older with upgrades to the building. Comfortable bed, Pillows.
We found the staff to be very accommodating. We were able to get a late check-out and were given certain toiletries that we forgot. The restaurant staff were very friendly and the good was excellent. We came back for a meal just before our flight even though we had already checked out.
I think this was b uilt in the 1930, and it smells like it. I fely like I was staying in a hosiptal. Terrible. Old dorrs that you hear everything in the hall. Plaster is coming off the walls. Missing tiles on the roof hallway one evelvator with a dorr that you could only get one suitcase through. Was not happy with my stay. Felt like sleeping in my rental car. The mattresses are old and you... more
Quiet environment. Good restaurant within. Ample parking. Helpful staff.
best value , good food, comfortable quiet and very clean rooms and property
As always well treated by the staff. The rooms are very well maintained. Very comfortable stay.
We wanted a good place to stay overnight on our trip. We were able to get to nearby restaurants easily.
Nice location rained I think. Sad that the Bombers lost
clean, pleasant staff, comfortable beds, needs updating to rooms/decor, breakfast brunch good, would stay again
Hotel is very nice. Staff were very courteous and let us move in early. Had breakfast and dinner buffets which although not cheap were very good. Would stay there again.
Told front desk next morning and they really didn't care. Even told them I was going to rate them low on the internet unless they gave me a discount or breakfast or anything. The window was cracked in our room 210 and it rained and it was flowing into the room. This seems to be a hotel that is being run into the ground. Parking lot is in disrepair, hallways are dirty with chips in the drywall... more
Average hotel situated close to the city centre modest views and appointments. The name of the hotel is very misleading considering its a very average facility. Staff was friendly and were quick to address any needs.
We had never stayed in this hotel before, but it looked good online, and it was. Well-appointed lobby, free parking, friendly front desk, housekeeping and restaurant/bar staff, comfy beds, and very nice, clean rooms. Lobby bar and restaurant prices were very good, and the dinner buffet we had was great (and just $18/per person!). Good access to anything in Regina... more
It's a very convenient place to stay if you are wanting anything on the south end like we did! Beds were comfortable and rooms were nice and quiet! There is also a restaurant / bar within the hotel that is very good. We have stayed here before and will continue to for the price, location and service!
Stayed at this hotel for two days while traveling Alberta. People were nice especially the girls that worked the front counter helped mapped out what to see and how to get there. The rooms were nice. Had restaurant and lounge but lounge was closed when we were there not open holidays or Sundays But that was okay on main road... more
Usually will stay downtown but everything booked because of a football game. Upon check in, seems understaffed as front clerk did a good job but had multiple check ins and phone constantly ringing. Staff was very friendly and helpful and quickly found our reservation. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed. We ate breakfast at the hotel the next morning. The food was good but the service slow.
I thought this was a very reasonably priced hotel considering the quality and comfort.
We had not stayed here before, but it looked good online, and it was. Really nice and helpful front desk staff, clean, very comfortable bed, well-appointed lobby, nifty lobby bar with friendly staff and great prices, and excellent buffet dinner in the restaurant - also at great prices. Easy to get to, free parking, and good location for getting anywhere around Regina. Would definitely recommend... more
comfortable beds and bedding nice views of albert st. on the west side upper floors
Good experience and price workers were friendly and helpful
It is an excellent hotel. Not a lot of extras but clean, quiet and reliable. Definitely recommended.
Very clean rooms.Close and easy to get around the town.It would be nice if they would clean enterance garbage can.
Great place. Stayed one night. Close to Earl's and other restaurants .
I have stayed at this hotel before and recommend it. The rooms were clean, staff was helpful and friendly, and it is conveniently located. The restaurant meals are excellent as well.
I stayed when hotel was full....excellent staff. Always friendly
It was easy to get there and back late at night. Met my expectations in terms of room and amenities.
The furniture is tacky, the bed was mushy and you can hear through the walls. I won't be back.
reservation error and was for the wrong date but you desk person MARLOU was able to book us in and at no extra cost. it was a great relief for 2 seniors travelling with their grandchildren. we were grateful for his help and kindness during our distress. he was so kind and helpful. we would definitely recommedmend your hotel to friends.
We just stayed for one night on our way through town. It was clean but felt older and it was nothing special.
The hotel has been renovated and is in great condition. It's near most of the south end restaurants and is generally well located. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Although the room was clean and comfortable overall, this properety is getting well worn around the edged. The halway carpets could use a good cleaning and how about geting out a paint brush and repainting the door jams. Just those 2 things would dress this hotel up and make it seem like you are getting your money's worth.
The hotel was well maintained. I did not see anything that needed repair or maintenance. The room was oversize, and the bed was comfortable.
Nice and relaxed, would definitly recommend this hotel, Staff, Location, Rooms all very comfortable and pleasant.
Never spent much time at the hotel and did not have a chance to try the restaurant so unfair to judge to hard.
The hotel was being renovated. The elevator stunk so badly that we chose to take the stairs even with our luggage.
We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. It was cozy and comfy and had all of the amenities you could ask for in a great area. Clean and yummy restaurant with room service. Good price and excellent customer service. Our dog was welcomed. We'd stay here again!
Stay was pleasant only complaint restuarant closed before posted time
The staff were great-The room, hotel and restaurant were very clean and quiet. Can highly recommend and will certainly stay another time.
Friendly, courteous and helpful staff both in restaurant and at front desk. A good experience ---would do again.
we were so impressed with this hotel & its catering . We worked with Don who handled all our requests with ease. We had a dinner for 70 guests, the food , the service , the room set up was perfect. A number of our guests stayed @ hotel & had nothing but good comments on rooms, staff, cleanliness. Thank... more
I have stayed at this hotel many times and will do so again. Very comfortable, quiet. No waterslide or pool equals few to no children, great for professionals and older travelers. Very convenient location for South Regina, not far from airport and university, downtown 10 minute drive, large mall a 15 minute walk, many restaurants. Staff are friendly, professional.
Room was decent as we arrived late, hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating as we were travelling with a truck and trailer. Very close to the Trans Canada Highway so not a hard to find and easy to accommodate big vehicles.
We stayed there 2 nights, a Monday and a Tuesday. The hotel doesn't look that great from outside but once in the room everything was updated and clean. We had a fridge and a Keurig. Well located for restaurants and shopping. Easy to go to Pasqua hospital which was the reason of our choice. 115$/night---5 days ahead
We had booked a regular room and then got upgraded to a suite at no extra cost, which was fantastic. The room was wonderful and we had no problems. A continental breakfast would have been nice, or some sort of affordable restaurant in the hotel.
Great hotel to stay at. Price was affordable. Staff was friendly and willing to help with your needs. Would stay there again. Booked on line at Executive Royal Hotel, and received a great internet price. This hotel is real good value for your money and a good location in Regina. Brian B.
great place to stay , can always get a room, hotel is clean and has own resturaunt and bar, whuch have good presentation and food, great support from nite staff on check in and taxi was on time as ordered by nite staff for morning flight
Very nice accommodations. Comfortable remodelled rooms with cozy beds and plenty of amenities, Coffee and fridges in each room. Very appealing from right when you enter the lobby. Great value. I booked on line.
The road trip back from Winnipeg to Calgary we arrived the hotel around 4 pm. We didn't plan to stay overnight in Regina but we were tired. We looked on search engine to find the hotel and luckily we found this hotel. Everything was good especially good price.
We have never had a bad meal at this place. We often go in for breakfast, the staff is very friendly and it is clean. We have had brunch many times and it has a terrific variety and once again, very clean. The hotel looks really nice and the front staff are also friendly.
I stayed here last year and really enjoyed my stay so when I came back I drove straight here. I wish I had kept driving. Exceptional hotel for the rate. In looking for a hotel in Regina it was one of the cheapest rates in the city but the quality of hotel and service were certainly well worth it. We had a 4-night stay in Regina, and decided to make the Executive Royal Hotel Regina our lodging choice. About a 5 to 10 minute ride from the airport, and seemingly the same distance from most other things in Regina, the location was perfect for our stay.

Stayed here one night between flights. The room was right out of the early 90's. Maybe they are updating this hotel but the room I stayed in reminded me of years ago. We got in late so there was no food around. I think we can probably do better somewhere else next time.
I spent a week at the Executive Royal Hotel Regina. The weather was frightful but the hotel was great. Quiet, clean room. Very professional staff. Restaurant on site. Guest laundry. Excellent location, near restaurants, shopping, the university. Excellent price. Look forward to my next stay.
My husband and I stayed the evening of October 19/13 while we were in town for the Football game. This hotel used to be the West Harvest Inn Regina (all of the room doors still have West Harvest numbers on them). We stayed in a small room on the 7th floor with one queen bed.

I did not stay at the Executive Royal Hotel, but was there attending a banquet. The venue was one our group had used for functions prior to the change in ownership. The renovations and updates performed at this hotel are beautiful. Very quiet stay even on a "Rider Weekend", just overall a nice weekend. If you don't mind not having a pool for the kids which totally depends on the kids this is a very convenient facility to the Regina International Airport.
Stayed here twice on our road trip. This hotel lives up to it's advertising. Good prices are available, and thus good value for what you get. The rooms were a good size, clean and standard amenities. The bathrooms were quite nice with big fluffy towels! Nice shower-head, something I relish when at hotels and often hard to find. Staff were... more
Stayed only one night, but couldn't have been happier with the staff. Restaurant hostess even sent a chicken breast to the room with our order for the dog! Beds were good, cleanliness good, room was more spacious than you'd expect for this price. TV reception wasn't good, but we weren't there to watch tv, & there were movies available anyway.... more
It was fabulous and relaxing to stay in the restored depression era hotel that I used to enjoy swimming at as a child. The upgrades kept the elegant ambiance that makes this hotel a home away from home.
It is what it claims to be and offers a clean quiet and comfortable sleep. Nice pillows and towels compared similarly priced places. Front desk staff always friendly and check in is efficient. I keep going back.
We stayed a couple nights on the final weekend of our road trip before flying back to the coast. We booked the single queen room at $107 CDN/night with CAA (plus taxes). The room and carpets were upgraded not too long ago, and was equipped with fridge, great wifi reception, TV, and free parking. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom... more
Much improved since being the West Harvest Inn...rooms and bathrooms clean, beds quite comfortable, fridge in room is nice. Front desk personnel very receptive, warm and friendly. We stayed here overnight for a medical appointment and were pleased with the result. We searched for the cheapest hotel that wasn't a total dive and this was just the ticket. I chose to go with one of their daily lunch specials; a shrimp melt with soup as my choice of side for $9.95. I asked for the soup ahead of time. The soup was good but nothing special. My wife and I recently stayed here while I was on business in Regina. This is one of the very few hotels in Regina that offer a limited number of "Pet Friendly" rooms. If you are going to stay in Regina this is the place to be,Front desk staff was great and the rooms were a good size, nice and spotless. The beds were the best thing of my stay ,I slept soundly and they have enough pillows .i would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Regina.
The place to stay in Regina, friendly staff, great service and amazing room, clean rooms great pillows, had to ask for low once cus they were a bit to high, not good for the nex.
But in resume love it.
We will be back soon loved our stay :)
Beds and pillows are comfortable. Need to upgrade to duvets though! The cheesy blanket and coverlet on the bed does nothing to promote sleep comfort, and I doubt they are both laundered in between guests, which is kind of gross. The carpet is a bit grungy. Bathroom very small. It's pretty basic, and therefore gets a "just average" rating. There... more
We stayed at this hotel for two nights (July 16-17) and we were not disappointed. The room was clean, the bed is comfortable and the staff who checked us in was very helpful and attentive to our needs. We highly recommend this hotel.
We sort of tripped upon this property. We were driving across Canada without reservations anywhere. We decided to stop for the night in Regina and saw this hotel. I've stayed here many times before under the hotels previous banner (West Harvest Inn) Since the upgrades to the property the hotel just keeps getting better. I often visit Regina and have not been impressed by many properties. With the energy sector boom prices are quite high so I selected this property based on a low price and was pleasantly surprised. We had a quick, one night stay. We arrived very early in the day, and they were able to get us a room for early check-in. The rooms were clean and modern. Very centrally located, with restaurants and shopping all around.

Have stayed at this hotel for a few days every two years as I travel from the UK to Vancouver. Really enjoyed our stay, no complaints and the Friday night buffet was on of the best I have had since Vegas, at $18:90 it offered an excellent choice of salads, sea food, vegetables as well as meat poultry and salmon.

There always seems to be a shortage of decent hotel rooms whenever I have to stay in Regina. Executive Inn was a pleasant surprise. Room rate was decent, hotel was clean, staff were friendly and accommodating. It looked to me like the hotel is due for an upgrade, but what is there was extremely well maintained.
Would definitely stay there...

This hotel is rated higher than it should be, but ratings seem to be based on amenities an not the quality of the details. It's an older hotel that's done good job on it's renovations. If need be I'd stay here again. Hotel is deserving of 2.5 Stars not the 4 it claims.
Stayed here in the weekend in a single queen room. We went with a baby and had lots of room in our room for a playpen and for him to play on the floor. Good experience. Hotel staff were friendly.
I was there for a conference at the University of Regina. The room was spotless and the staff was very friendly. I appreciated the small, but functional fitness room. It was a 30 minute walk to the University. There were also several restaurants within 5-10 minutes of walking.

Check in/check out was very easy. Lots of free parking. Within walking distance of a number of restaurants, small stores, shopping mall.
Helpful staff with maps and directions that I required. Nearby shopping, restaurants, liquor store. Short drive to airport.
Everything that was promised was delivered. Great place at a reasonable cost.
“We stayed at the West Harvest Inn in Regina in August of 2009. The rooms were clean, it was quiet and everything seemed to be going well until we were charged twice for a room.
