Richmond BC hotel located close the Vancouver International Airport. Book Richmond hotel direct and save
The Executive Airport Plaza Hotel in Richmond British Columbia is home to a state of the art Convention Centre and Hotel Tower. Conveniently located in Richmond BC just 5 Minutes from Vancouver International Airport and next to the Richmond Oval.
My room was far from the lobby, but hotel staff assisted me, saying, No gratuities needed. It was quiet and comfy with lots of space, including a wall of glass doors. There were several restaurants or food pubs to choose from nearby, and I could walk to essentials shopping and a post office.
We booked a two-bedroom suite. It is great and with all required facilities, suitable for our group with babies. Nice hotel close to skytrain station and Richmond center. Hotel staff are helpful and provide prompt response and assistance.
We were upgraded to a mini suite which was very nice and had a mini kitchen and jacuzzi! The room (and hotel hallways) was/were a bit warm so it was hard to get the temperature just right. Complementary shuttle to airport was great and convenient. Beds were comfortable.
Convenient location with free shuttle to YVR airport. The hotel provides all the amenities and convenience for your stay.
I could not sleep well. There are rooms on the ground floor next to parking lot. Noisy. And cleaning is terrible that there are many hairs on the bed.
There are better-kept hotels in the same price range, nearby.
The suite was spacious and perfect for what we needed. It was cheaper and much better than renting 2 regular rooms. We had a nice kitchen, 2 bedrooms plus a sofabed and 2 bathrooms.
Just a overnight from the airport, nice park across the street to walk or jog. Restaurants on site, close to casino if you like that, starbucks in hospital across the street!
Downside was the courtesy coach. Did not pick up at airport
The bathroom door had obvious water damage and therefore you could not close the door without great effort and noise. Once closed, it was worse trying to get it open. The hotel could not offer another room that was close to the guests we were traveling with who were handicapped so we had no choice but to stay in the room. Did not see one staff member smile the entire time we were there. Our... more
We stayed on the 8th floor. Quiet, except for geese & sea gulls in the morning. Clean and comfortable. Water pressure for both bathroom showers is very low. Need to improve in this area.
Petite salle de bains, petite télévision,... more
Got free upgrade from stAndard room to full suite Canada geese outside balcony nesting- kinda cool to see Overall very enjoyable experience. Loved it
The staff at the front desk were very helpful. They knew that I was traveling back and forth from the hospital and that I was renewing my reservation a couple of days at a time because I did not know how long I would be staying. They reassured me that they would take care of my reservation as I left the hotel very early in the mornings to go to the hospital. When I got back in the evenings all... more
We stayed on the 2nd floor of the executive tower. It's a nice two bedroom suite - with 900 sqft. Room is clean the bed is comfortable. However, there's a bar on the main floor. It's noise and difficult to sleep even after 11pm. The parking garage door only works sometime with card swipe. The garage door entrance/exit is designed in a stupid way.You have to get in from left side and exit on... more
I was able to go for a long walk. Then I came back to the hotel to have dinner which was great. Romm was comfortable and quiet.
Great for the price!! We were able to book two rooms for similar price of one that two other nearby hotels were charging. The staff was super accommodating too. Despite late booking and late arrival on a fully booked Friday night, they managed to put us in adjoining rooms away from the elevators as requested. Although the rooms were slightly outdated, the were clean and comfortable enough. The... more
Good but quite a walk to restaurant. Staff were good and shuttle driver to airport was very friendly and helpful.
Front desk very friendly and helpful. Shuttle drivers also very helpful and friendly. Housekeeping very accommodating. Carvers Restaurant excellent dining.
We stayed at the hotel for 4 days the shuttle service is great and the rooms are clean and nice the views from our room were over looking at the cherry blossom trees and it was beautifull! Except the carpet of the room which needs to be changed. We stayed at the apt suite it had two bedrooms , kitchenete and even washer and dryer! The house maid was kind enough to do the dishes if we leave them... more
Great hotel, great location, easy to get to and out of from out of town. My daughter and her friend came with me to a course and we stayed in a 2 bedroom suite - great! Full kitchen, two bedrooms. Easy access to transit for the girls and within walking to the Oval for my course. Would definately stay again
My dad is an airline pilot and this is the hotel the airline chose for them to stay. So when we went to Vancouver during the time my dad has a flight there, we booked at the same hotel. The one we got was a one bedroom apartment because I brought my 7-month-old baby along with me and we need a microwave for her bottles to be sterilized. The hotel room has almost everything - cookwares, knives,... more
I stayed just 15 hours in Vancouver this time. But the hotel is close to the airport and Richmond Centre so I could enjoy the stay in spite of short time. For longer stay, I recommend you stay close to downtown, though.
Due to a mix up with my bookeeeper the hotel room bill was not paid as I edxpected. the front desk staff were polite, understanding and helpful unitl it was figured out. Carver's steak dinner was delicious.
Hotel was in close proximity to the Airport which is a plus for traveling. Rooms were spacious, clean and quite. Amenities included access to 3 different restaurants/pub as well as a good fitness room. I would definitely return.
I booked a queen room but got upgraded to a king jacuzzi suite. It's nice to get a little something extra once in awhile.
Room not clean.service not good. Not water for drink.
one night / early evening checkin / Carvers Restaurant in building / no need to visit elsewhere / checkin parking tight - awkward but easily discovered vehicle parking for 1st time visit
We had to wait 20 minutes because our rooms were not ready when we arrived to check in. But, once they were ready, check-in was quick and easy. The room was clean, but in need of updating, but at least not embarrassing when we held a small business meeting in the room. The hot tub was not working despite the fact that we called asked about it the night before and were assured that it was... more
Nice location and lobby. However, service is bad. The front desk totally not helpful at all. I requested to extend 1 night when I check in. They said NO and I need to book online. Stayed between flights and made use of free airport shuttle.
Much noisier than other hotels in the area.Live music from bar alongside hotel played until late in evening- could hear exact words from songs and feel base Windows not soundproof at all in regards to street noise. Heat was set at a far too cold of temperature, try to set higher and fan just blows cold air. Got very little sleep during my stay but staff wad quite pleasant.
I loved my stay. Decent price, helpful staff. Good Hotel.
Nice hotel, but if you get a discount rate they put you in the back building. Internet was very poor. You get less than you pay for. Never again in that dump!
We arrived at the hotel around 2PM, the hotel didn't look very busy and we had just arrived in Vancouver on a flight from Asia and couldn't wait to crash. Without even looking they told us our room would't be ready till 3. We understand there needs to be a check in time but when the place is half empty why not let us check in. Another thing, although so minor, the quilts on the beds are so... more
Quick and pleasant welcome, upgrade offered at no extra charge, all amenities offered and comfort assured.
Hot tub wasn't hot and the wi-fi didn't work very well.
I waited forever for a shuttle at the airport and then one drove by and didn't even stop and wasn't full. Finally one came and the driver was so rude! The hotel is old and should be reviewed more hair in the room than on my head!
Great for proximity to airport. Very friendly staff
We chose it for the convenience of being a able to leave the vehicle while away on our holidays. Phoned them ahead of time to find out how much it would cost, be advised that what we were told on the phone (our friends did the same) was not what we had to pay once we got there.
Clean, comfortable and quiet. Shuttle to airport worked well with a very early departure and a very late pickup
Staff were great. Very courteous and friendly. Was asked if I needed a wakeup call in the morning as I was leaving early.
Airport hotel that takes 45 minutes to get from airport to hotel. run down, mold in bathroom, bedding grey and dingy
The room we were in had a funky smell as soon as you walked in. I couldn't quite place it at first, but I figured it out near the end of our three night stay. The carpet by the entry and bathroom must have been urinated on quite profusely as you could also smell something used to try to mask... more
I was traveling with Lulu for fun. Staff, room and service was great! Best hotel when traveling with a small pet.Proximity to shopping was great. The Irish bar had wonderful staff, music and food. I was able to purchase some electronics near Richmond Mall. The only downside was the internet service.
I stayed one night because of Hotwire. It was immediately clear that my room should have been refurbished at least 10 years ago. It wasn't in the tower or main building, but in the building across the way from the front desk.
The room had 8 pot lights, giving a sense that you were in someone's basement.

The Hotel is outdated both inside and out. TV is an old flat screen TV, rooms we got was small and refrigerator was barely working. Bathroom looks old and feels as well. Airconditioning is noisy, didn't sleep well.
There's three of us checked in this hotel. We need extra towel and linen. My husband went to the front desk and requested one and he was told someone will bring it up.
An hour later, no towel was brought up. I phoned the desk, and was told someone will bring it up at 12:15am when the crew will be...

We rented a 2 bedroom suite in the condo tower for five nights. The unit, and the hotel in general from what we saw, is old and worn. Upgraded my room to a suite for free. Room was clean and comfortable.
Tube tv ' s, 70 's tile in the bathroom, bed is like sleeping on a bag of rice. So sad I paid for 2 nights already. TV doesn't even have a guide... seriously stuck in the 70s hotel. Loud air conditioning. The only good thing was the price I guess but I'd rater be at the Super 8!
Did not get the room we reserved on line. Upon checking in to the hotel we were told that the room we were getting was an upgrade. It was an apartment with a single bed, queen bed and pullout couch. I said that I wanted to have the room that I had reserved as that as why I had chosen... more
This was our second visit to this hotel. I was put up here by my business and found it to be very disappointing. As a frequent budget business traveller, I am accustomed to staying in non-luxurious and often dated budget hotels. It is a pleasure to stay . We booked the one bedroom apartment with a nice kitchen and sitting room. Short walking distance to shops and restaurants. We shall come again and recommend the property to people who enjoy space instead of luxury .
The hotel was quite average and wasn't particularly nice, but it was adequate and suited my needs. I did not appreciate the nickle and dime feeling I got from the staff when I asked for basic requests such as a bottle of water, which costed $1.50. Also, the Wi-Fi was terrible, especially in the evenings, when it would just randomly... more
Really a thoroughly ordinary hotel. Clean hotel although the room was dated and dark. Close to the airport. The central courtyard was actually very pleasant - sat out there and read for a while - quiet and comfortable.

Because of an overnight in Richmond prior to an early AM flight, I spent one night at this odd hotel. This hotel was a huge disappointment. At $300/night I was expecting an amazing hotel. I was very satisfied with the Executive Airport Plaza Hotel for the most part.

There is plenty of parking and crisp linen as well.
We came here for a Saturday morning breakfast brunch.
Wow, it was a buffett with some of the best food I have had in a long time.
A lot of the food was very British, which I really liked as well as some Asian Dishes.

A transit hotel at best and not that close to the airport. From the shuttle schedule, through the eclectic building layout to the very average breakfast the whole experience was forgettable. The rooms are tired and dreary, yet the place is frequented by flight crews who also seemed tired and dreary … me too.

sure the fairmont is a bit more but its worth it, this hotel wasn't terrible but basically an overpriced room, with gross carpet, dingy bathroom, glasses had fingerprints around where the lips would go, pub ic hair in the shower, and the windows didnt open, I am used to clean air so I think it even ruined my sleeps at night... stay at the fairmont its worth the extra money.... you get a perfect... more
“I
don't this this place offers good value. There are other hotels in this area that are much newer and provide free WiFi.”
“Staff was friendly. Rooms are a bit outdated and have too much furniture making the room seem cramped. No free Internet access.”
The hotel ammenities (exercise room and breakfast restaurant) weren't very special. The room had a nice flat screen TV, but no HD channels. The room also had ethernet, but the box was on the opposite side of the room to the desk, so it wasn't a very helpful setup at all.
I stayed here because of a conference, but do not intend to stay here again.
Located in the Executive Inn Hotel. Went here for breakfast during a conference being held at the hotel. Food was decent, but it was extremely overpriced for what we ordered. We were two, and one person had a cold breakfast with fruit, milk and cereal, and muffin, coffee. I had a tiny bit of eggs, a muffin, coffee, orange juice, and fruit.
The bill came out to $27 plus tip. I felt a little...

I found out from a flight attendant who was also waiting that this happens all the time. The hotel did... more
