Good location, close to countryside and city.

Good B&B however room 3 is really only big enough for single occancy. Good breakfasts, sets you up for the day. Public transport a short walk away and Stanley Park is on the door step. Local area is well caterered for with many restaurants bars and coffee shops. Staff only available at breakfast. The B&B lacked tea/coffee making facilities, though I understand this is due to change.

Practically perfect in every way

The B&B is spotless. Alberto was wonderful. The room we had was not conducive to "hanging out" in - one hard chair and a bed to high to get into. But, it was clean as a whistle and we were rarely in the room! From the moment we arrived, Alberto was the most gracious host. Our loft room was wonderfully appointed and access to the garden, from the fire escape, was a treat. With an evening glass of wine under the gazebo who would of thought there was wildlife in the city.....you'll have to find out for yourself! Our room was comfortable, but tight. There was no AC, so the night sleep was a bit warm.

Exceptional

This delightful, character-filled B&B is tucked away in a quiet, tree-lined street in a perfect Vancouver location adjacent to bay-front and the magnificent Stanley Park. Beautifully furnished interior. Top marks to manager Alberto too for his exceptionally pleasant and helpful approach. This would certainly be our first choice if visiting Vancouver again

English Bay B&B

This is our 2nd time at English Bay with 2nd time under new ownership. Alfredo (house manager) met us at the door and was most friendly and accomodating. He gave us ideas of places to eat, things to see in the West oend of Vancouver. The breakfast meals were well prepared and most certainly ample. A great B&B in a great location, a block from the water, 2 blocks from Stanley Park, and 2 blocks from the great restaurants on Denman Street. Alberto and Jacy are gracious hosts, who cook a delicious breakfast (quiche, omelets, fresh fruit and more!)

The English Bay Inn B&B is perfectly located and beautifully refurbished. Everything "old" is new again. Doug takes great pride in his role as innkeeper and he and his wife serve a great breakfast. Our room was very nice and you can't beat the central locationn (and free parking). We would return anytime.
