Worst service ever!!! From the manager to the servers. Service is not commensurate to the price of the food! Expensive and yet lousy service. Not coming back here again! I'll also tell my friends.

Was in Vancouver in June. We asked friends to recommend a Chinese restaurant to go to and ended up here. Went for brunch on a weekday and found it very good. We wanted to go back on a Saturday morning and went there at about 10:30 am and it was too busy already! Had to find another place to go.

Good dimsum at this place, though it's definitely more expensive than the out of the way locations like East River or Cindy's Palace. Interesting to note that the congee here is huge and is definitely enough to fill two people so it's a great choice if you're looking for non-rice fillers!

Honestly, I doubt I'd come here for dinner again. Too many inconsistencies and a terrible fried rice. Maybe dim sum.

Dim sum here is very different in all their flavors than I am used to. The only thing I cared for was the beef balls and har gowout of all our dishes. Fancy decor, feels like a hotel but still very loud when its full. A bit pricey but portions are large.

The food were good, but not especially great. Especially considering all the great food in the same area. Part of the reason seems like they did not have enough servers. Most of the food arrive warm, but not hot. (Maybe left waiting to be picked up and cooled down through the process?) Love the dessert, but slightly on the warm side as well.

This restaurant is my family's favourite place to go. We go around 9 am and order about 7-8 dishes from no 1to 39 on the menu. There are more items available after 10am which I haven't tried yet. My family and I went for dim sum and we were amazed at how big the portions were. The food tasted great abd the restaurant looked clean as well, big bonus!

I have always come to Empire Seafood for family dinner. The food never disappoint me. The Alaskan King Crab cooked into 3 different ways (Steamed Leg, Deep Fried, and Fried Rice on its Shell) by far is my favorite. Other foods are excellent too. While Empire might have what is considered delicious Dim Sum in most other parts of North America, in Richmond it is merely average. Located across the street from popular rival Kirin (yelp.com/biz/kirin-seafo…), Empire typically gets some of their spillover crowd when they've decided they can't wit any more and want to pay less. Empire Seafood Restaurant renovated space is a big change from when Milestones used to be here. There's beautiful chandeliers hung from the ceiling and because it's still fairly new, everything is still clean.

This place is usually pretty packed for dim sum and my latest visit was for a banquet dinner. Food was your typical Chinese food, tasty but oily.. especially the yee noodles.
