Good bang for the buck

Unsafe for Seniors

First, the good news. Nice big room, clean, well decorated. Good bed. Decent TV with cable (no HD). Wifi works well. Desk staff was OK, but when we asked for restaurant recommendations, he was not knowledgeable.
The bad news: The shower/tub has no grab bar except very low on the tub, and there is no rubber mat on the slippery...

Very Impressed

Family winter vacation

September 20, 2013We have been staying here for several years during the Penticton Dragonboat Festival and always have had exceptional service, very clean and comfortable rooms. The decor in each room is very attractive and not sterile like some hotels. The china coffee cups and wine glasses add that bit of extra.

Great Value. Spotlessly clean

Clean, quiet and spacious
September 08, 2012We were very impressed with the size of the room and it was very quiet, despite being on a major street. We didn't use the pool, but walked to the beach a few times. The one upgrade we'd recommend would be darker curtains - the street lights manage to shine through the gaps in the blinds. Overall, recommended.

August 09, 2011Affordable. Clean rooms. Close to the lake. Easy to access from the south because it's literally really close to where HWY 97 connects with Penticton. And easy access from the north because it's close to the bypass. Also very close to the Lakeshore Rd... my favorite bike route south of Penticton.

Great Stay
August 04, 2011Stayed at Empire 2 nights the beginning of Aug. Had just left a previous motel which was disgusting so upon entering our room at Empire we were so happy!! Super clean, friendly staff, great pool. No complaints at all. Had a great courtyard with lots of bbq's to use. Had a really great stay.
