Nothing Redeeming
March 19, 2014We ate here once just because we were curious about how bad it could really be. Folks... in all honesty may be one of the worst restaurants in the world. Have NO clue how it has stayed in business.

Tired and old
September 03, 2012This place should have closed long ago. The owners now in their 80's can be seen sitting at one of the tables trying to stay awake for those two or three die hards who are bound to happen by. Place is for sale, but shouldn't be a restaraunt. The clock stopped in 1959

We were in Stratford for the day, and saw Ellam's, which looked like a quaint local business with a lot of history. There turned out to be more "history" as I have ever seen in a restaurant in my entire life.

Not very good, but very real

We had breakfast at Ellam's because we like the old fashioned charm of diners. My wife had a cheese omlette, and I had a western omlette. Both dishes were awful, but at least inexpensive.
