Salad was horrible, they make you tip even if service was horrible
May 03, 2014Went to eighties for a late lunch with a group of people. The waitress with MIA for the first 20 minutes then came with water. Then was MIA for another ten minutes. Good breakfast place
April 26, 2014The restaurant was very busy but we got a table right away. The food came in a timely manner and our server was very good. The only complaint is that there is no kids menu (if there is one I wasn't offered it). It would have made the choices a little easier for thechild we had with us. Overall though... more

Breakfast Anytime
February 04, 2014A friend and I went here for a bite to eat and decided to have breakfast at 6 pm. It was great fun and the staff were brilliant. Going there on Friday for their Prime Rib special :).

Good, plentiful, dependable Diner Breakfast

Ok I'll say it now: I would rate The 80s higher if the COFFEE WAS of BETTER QUALITY and they offered MULTI GRAIN TOAST as an option; the flat, whole wheat, cheap stuff with no texture doesn't make the cut. These are this diner's breakfast faults. Otherwise,the service is quick and friendly and the breakfast options are extensive.

Decent dinner, great breakfasts and brunch

Great for a casual brunch
May 25, 2012Despite my rating, I actually really enjoy this restaurant for the occasional "diner-style" weekend breakfast or brunch. The food isn't incredible, but it's good. It's a great place to go for fast, casual breakfast fare.
