Amazing food
April 18, 2014The new renovated egg and I restaurant is amazing. The food is always fresh and tasty. The service is fast and good. The prices are very good and relatively cheap for the fresh and tasty food it provides and lastly, the atmosphere is very friendly!

I dont know what happened to the pancakes
February 15, 2013I have always ate at EGG and I in Ancaster I always have banana pancakes there Usually awesome but today WOW they were orange , dry , burnt no banannas in it I think they use a pancake mix now!!!! Server was great but food has gone down worst pancakes ever .

Decent, not great

Ancaster Egg & I is a decent place for breakfast, nothing special or memorable. Coffee is good, but food in uninspiring and service is certainly not high end. It is very busy for breakfast and brunch on weekends, during the week not so much.
Eating dinner here is another story. We tried a quick dinner here with the kids once....
